“NOT good customer service at all. Amanda, the owner, was extremely rude and entitled - very hard to deal with. She acted like the world revolved around her and I felt rushed. I have seen this written about her in other reviews as well which leads to believe this is a common trait in how they treat their customers. Would not recommend this place.“

“Cosmo One is hands down one of the best spots in the DMV for beef shawarma, absolutely unmatched! I drove over 30 miles just to try it and it was well worth the trip. The chicken kabobs and fresh salad were excellent, and the pistachio shawarma was a unique highlight that did not disappoint. I just wish it was closer to home, I’d be there every other day. Until then, I’ll happily keep making the drive.“

“We loved loved LOVED the macarons from Melody's Macarons!! We were looking for the perfect pastries to give as a thank you/christmas gift at our favorite hot pot place and we came across Melody's Macarons on Google. We called them up and within 15 minutes we were at the owner's front door placing our order. 5 minutes later, she came out with a bunch of beautifully decorated and wrapped macarons! My daughter could not stop gushing about how we need to bring macarons to every function from now on!

“WOW is right!! I am a first-time customer and ultimately ordered a dozen construction-themed cookies for my son's 3rd birthday party. Melissa messaged me back straight away and offered two different cookie options -- screen-printed vs hand-cut with pricing. I sent her a link to the party decorations I bought, and she was able to create AMAZING screen-printed cookies using images from a digital invitation. Melissa answered all of my questions thoroughly, particularly about how long the cookies would stay fresh, and provided tons of advice about how to display the cookies and how to best freeze them if we wanted to keep a couple for after the party. I am not exaggerating when I say these are the thickest, most delicious sugar cookies I have ever tasted. My husband and I sampled one after pick-up, and they are truly out-of-this-world good! Melissa has absolutely gained a customer for life, and I cannot wait to work with her again.“

“My work ordered the individual cheesecakes and they were incredible. In fact, as soon as I finished eating mine I hopped on here to leave a review. I had the banana cream cheesecake and it was the best cheesecake I've ever had. The flavor and texture were so rich without being too heavy. We were also able to get gluten free cakes which helped immensely in accommodating the dietary needs of everyone in our office.

Delivery was on time and they were super polite and considerate. The cakes came packaged very nicely and with neat labelling. But even if they had dropped it off late in a plastic bag while cussing me out, I'd still tell you to buy from them because the cakes were that good. You won't regret your order!!“

Hardly a place where anyone would look for a bakery. it was hard for me to find it and I was shocked where the GPS is taking me is only automotive shops.But we know how badly Afghans and Afghanistan has been wronged for decades by different invaders.I love Afghanistan and its people for anything inflicted upon them.The owner of the bakery serves with most friendly and kind ways while missing a limb, right arm. “My wife insisted we order our wedding cake from here after she got her first wedding cake from here a decade earlier. Everyone at the wedding raved about the cake. Despite being a big cake lover, my wife and I were too busy to have more than a bite of the cake at the wedding. “This cake was DELICIOUS!!! My friend purchased a Randy Cake for my twins 1st Birthday. Hands down the best tasting cake I have ever had. The picture doesn’t do it justice. It was lemon cake with almond buttercream. It looked amazing and was scrumptious to eat. In addition, she made gluten free carrot cake cupcakes that were equally tasty. Everyone was able to enjoy a treat. I will be purchasing more in the future. ❤️❤️❤️“

“I walked in as they were getting products ready for delivery. I got a latte, chocolate biscotti, and regular biscotti. There was no one at the counter, and no other customer when I came in but I was given prompt, friendly service, and will absolutely be back. Not a good date/ meet up place - no tables or chairs.

Latte - excellent, didn't taste burnt (unlike that very pretty cafe on the other side of 50...), exactly what a latte should be like.

Chocolate biscotti - HAS HAZELNUT! again, it's the right consistency, plenty of chocolate flavor.

All the different pastries were awesome (my son had a mango cream bun every time). You HAVE to try the Tiramisu latte. Oh! Oh! And the Black Forest Cake was the friggin bomb! More than how great the food was, the ownership and staff were spectacular! We felt like we were popping in and seeing old friends. Their Turkish breakfast is a delightful experience, offering a variety of small portions on a partitioned plate that keep you alternating between savory and sweet flavors. The spread includes two kinds of cheese, two types of olives, apricot jam, honey, spreadable cheese, fresh cucumbers and tomatoes, their special Simit bread, and perfectly cooked eggs with Sujuk (available for an extra charge). The Turkish coffee is also expertly prepared and adds the perfect finishing touch to the meal.“
