“I cannot say enough good things about this Jersey Mike’s. They went above and beyond for me! We had a huge order for like 60 subs for our election party Tuesday night and the order somehow got accidentally called into the Woodstock store not the Harrisonburg one like we thought. I was in a huge time crunch and did not have the time it would take to run another 40 minutes to get there. We got everything squared away with Woodstock and they said if Harrisonburg could make the order we were fine to just get it there. I hated to even ask but we were in a desperate situation and the guys there immediately were like don’t worry we got it. Being they are not affiliated with the Woodstock store their price was a bit higher and they even got that down as closely to the quote we were given. In an hour I was out the door with our order and they were slammed busy. The one guy even carried it out to my car. I hate I was so frazzled that I forgot to even ask their names bc they certainly deserve a personal “Thank you” on this review. Both guys were so kind and helpful. I truly appreciated it so much!I will certainly go back for subs and any catering needs and will certainly highly recommend them!!! Also just to add they were the best subs we’ve ever had!!! You cannot go wrong with this location of Jersey Mike’s!!!“

“I like this place and will definitely be back. They're mainly set up for drive thru but we parked and walked up to the window to order. There are a couple of tables outside and it was a nice day. We had tacos and quesadillas. Both are hefty portions. The opinions on the tacos were pork is the best filling and the sausage needs more heat. The chicken in the quesadilla had great flavor.“

“I want to start this review with a thank you to the GM of this establishment. I have never visited before and I intended on trying the hottest spice level available on my wrap. However, the GM advised against that and let me try the hot level to see how that was and that the hottest rub was worse than that. Well after trying the hot I decided to stick with the medium spice level and I am grateful for his guidance and care. He told me he wanted me to enjoy my food/experience here and I did! The chicken was great. Crispy and flavorful. The fries were wonderful and the joes sauce is delectable. A great experience. I wanted to try the hottest spice level before I left. I wish I didn’t. If I could go back I would. I took the first bite of the piece of chicken lathered in the flaming hot rub. I did not know at the time I was making a grave mistake. I honestly thought it tasted great and went ahead and finished the whole piece of chicken. As I finished that piece of chicken my world turned upside down. I felt a level of spice that I would think as comparable to taking a hot coal and placing it in my mouth. The gm gave me a lemonade on the house to try to ease the pain however there was no hope for me. As my body was slowly getting taken over from the capsaicin I realized that if I had followed through with my plan of eating a meal of the hottest spiced chicken, I would most likely not be able to write this review. As I sit here on my porcelain throne while my body tries to rid itself of the molten lava I ingested earlier. I give major thanks to the GM, Hangry Joe, and the staff of this restaurant for making great chicken and caring for my health as much as they could. If you read the entire length of this review I hope it helps you. 10/10 will be back for spice levels less than hot.“

“The food was incredible. Chicken hot and fresh. I got the 4 strip chicken strips. The Frosted Cherry Lemonade was delicious. My friend got the Cobb Salad and was introduced to the Avocado Lime dressing. That meal was so fulfilling to the both of us. And shout out to Reed, my guy, came by us to check if everything was alright with our meals and if we wanted refills before they closed. So courteous and exemplary customer service skills. I know he will go places in life. My husband and I were having a nap-date, so with both kids sleeping in the back of the car you KNOW we ordered a feast. I don’t think I’ve received food so perfectly and uniformly hot from any restaurant before. The menu is limited, but it has the essential Steak 'n Shake items - burgers, chicken strips, and milkshakes! Prices are about the same as a traditional location. For non-campus members, visiting may be hard due to parking restrictions.“
