“I have wanted to partake in dining at this restaurant and the food looked delish. My experience met my expectations after I had pork belly, blackened catfish and mashed potatoes. I wanted to order the collards but not with tomatoes. I have eaten collards all over the South and have not seen tomatoes..Yikes!!!
The pork belly was tasty but smothered in BBQ sauce which the manager noticed so wasn't happy. My server, Hannah was friendly and helpful with her input.
My biggest negative was the 20% gratuity automatically added to the bill. There's another breakfast gem in RVA which also does the 20% so not a big fan. If the service is good, it's not an issue but when it is subpar, it's not fair to the customer imo.
I am on the fence about a return visit when I will probably return in February.“

“Great food, really liked the menu, and our server was very helpful with recommendations and his experience, as well as what's popular. We really enjoyed our first visit. My only complaint is I love draft beer, and they don't have any. Minor issue, but if you want perfect, draft beer!“

“Ordered the deep dish pizza yesterday. I’m from Chicago so I was expecting to be disappointed somewhat. Was I ever wrong! ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! Thank you a million times over for bringing a bit of my hometown to RVA! Can’t wait for a nice thin crust or maybe a beef - wet. If you’re from Chi you know what that is… Again, thank you.👍🏻🤗“
