They were very welcoming and friendly. While we were there, a medical emergency occurred. The staff stepped in to help with the emergency. “Gelati Celesti is a staple in Richmond for having one of the best ice cream! and I completely agree with that. Sadly, i found out about this place when we already moved out from Richmond. But! every time I visit Richmond this is a must stop for me to go! I think I have been to 2 or 3 of their locations and both of them deserves 5 stars! from the surrounding, employees and the top quality of ice cream they have, they are indeed a number 1 spot for ice cream. I do not even care if its cold outside, I will tell my sister to go here to get ice cream! they also have different flavors to choose from and to be honest, I do not remember what my favorite flavor is but I have tasted a few and they are all good! you will not go wrong here since they use the best of the best ingredients here and all of their locations are so cute! “Stopped in after the Irish Festival. Got a mango smoothie with boba, and my husband got a mocha smoothie with boba. It was so good as always. I have been going here for years and wish I lived closer. My husband and I both agree that the sound of the straw pulling in the last drops of our smoothie is the saddest sound ever. It means it's all gone. ?Parking: Park on the street for free or park in Kroger across the street and walk over.“

I went with two other people and they chose what they wanted right away then there's me, very indecisive so I tried so many different flavors and even tried what my friends got but still couldn't make up my mind. The staff there are so nice, very friendly atmosphere, they did not mind that I kept asking to try different flavors and they even gave me some suggestions. I tried my friends milkshake and it was so good. This place is probably one of the best ice cream places that I have been to. “I ordered an ice cream cake from here. It was very simple to do, and you can even do it online! You can customize everything that goes into your cake! We did chocolate cake with fudge filling and mint chocolate chip ice cream. It was by far the most delicious ice cream cake I have ever had! It wasn't overly priced even though it was an ice cream cake. Originally, we went to publix and were met with issue after issue trying to order an ice cream cake in store. Then we found Brusters online and realized we could do this very easily, customize the cake the way we want, and pick up when we need all for a reasonable price!! After I ordered, Brusters sent me a text confirming my order was received and an email with my receipt for the order and payment. I have never received any more messages from them or emails! Which is nice since usually when you buy something online, you have agreed to that company spamming you. 2 weeks later, I showed up to pick up my cake. They have a different window for picking up online orders, so you don't have to wait in line behind people trying to order ice cream. The man who helped me was very friendly and asked my name and off he went to get my cake! He even gave me instructions to remove the cake from the freezer 10 minutes before cutting. My son was very happy I came through with the exact cake he wanted! Thank you, Brusters, for making his birthday cake dreams a reality and giving me bonus cool mom points!“
“Oh boy, I'm in trouble! This is some of the creamiest ice cream I've ever had. I opted for salted caramel and just ask and was very happy with my choice. There are so many interesting flavors to choose from that I will definitely be back! Friendly staff and lots of seating available.“

“I was visiting a friend in Richmond and she took me here. It's a really cute place with smoothies and juices. There isn't a place to sit, instead you order at the window. The pricing is reasonable as well. I got a smoothie they had on the menu with banana and almond butter. I don't remember the name but it was fantastic. I was craving it the whole next day. Will definitely be back the next time I'm in town.“

“This place is unassuming, but as far as to-go breakfast is concerned, it is much better than I expected. I had probably the best breakfast burrito I have ever had anywhere (I added tomato and avocado to it), the breakfast sandwich on a bagel was pretty good, as was the thai coffee and the latte. One thing was outstanding (the burrito) and the rest were just slightly above average. The online ordering system was convenient as well.“
“Great customer service and such a variety of flavor options. This ice cream shop is unlike no other as the flavor pairings are not as "common" as one may think. You can either choose ice cream scoops or you can get a milkshake, I went with a milkshake and got it infused with fruit loops and cheesecake bites which was such a yummy combination . Additionally, I took off one star for the price...it was $10 plus tax and they only offer one size for the milkshake which seems to be an equivalent to a small so hopefully they offer more sizes in the future.“
“I was happy to see that a Cold Stone Creamery opened locally and visited soon after they opened. Even though they were newly opened and very busy, the service was fast and friendly, and portions were as expected, the establishment was clean, and the quality was very good. We were offered a loyalty card right away, which I like, because who doesn't like a good deal. A couple of weeks later, my family ordered my birthday cake from them and it did not disappoint. It was ready at the appointed time and everybody enjoyed it. We have visited a couple times since then and will continue to be patrons.“

We didn't see much of the bakery today, but the ice cream satisfied two kiddies and a grown up(espresso Oreo). There is a restroom for customers only. Quite a few shops on this street didn't have restrooms. The waffle cones are the familiar brand of "Joy". The shop has many seats and tables inside. The view is Byrd Theatre and the cool shop Bygones. “OK Yall another Hidden Gem. My hunny brought me here for Valentines Day 2024. Well whenever reviewing a Candy spot I usually start with the fudge. NOW before I say this know that I am very picky I had the Chocolate and the Salted Carmel Fudge. Both were good, just not great and it had a funky aftertaste that I could not quite but my hand on. But I also got a Cashew Bear Claw and that was amazing let me tell you. I want to come back and give some other candies and truffles a try.“

“*First time experience at La Michoacana* This was my first time being introduced to La Michoacana, not knowing what to expect inside! This store just looks like another ice cream bar inside, but has the most unique variety of ice cream and sherbet. I'd say there are about 30 different flavors, excluding the fresh popsicles! Some of the ice cream flavors are also boozy and require ID to taste. They have all of the traditional flavors you would find at another ice cream stop, but other flavors include dried fruits and nut varieties. The servers inside speak spanish and english.“
