“We attended ghe Apple Festival. Was great weather. It was bjsu but plenty of free parking and well organized. Bring your own chIars as seating was vefy limited. Lots of food trucks and some lines for food were long. Might want to nring you osn drinks as selections at food yrucks were limited. Perfect fall colors! Farmers Market too!“

“Wonderful experience! Hubby and I visited the tasting room for Valentine's Day. We shared the Reserve flight and Valentine's Wine & Chocolate flight. We took home bottles of four of the eight wines in the flights. The food, corn chowder and a crimini mushroom flatbread, was excellent too. It's all cooked to order & served at the table. Very attentive service. Beautiful setting with sweeping views. I'm so happy that we chose it to celebrate Valentine's Day. It'll be easy to persuade hubby to take me again for my birthday in the summer.“

“Oakencroft was a fantastic experience! The property is stunning with beautiful, scenic views. We really enjoyed the guided tasting—it was fun to learn about each wine as we tried them. The sparkling white and sparkling rosé were our favorites. The charcuterie and cheese boards were also delicious. We absolutely loved this winery and can’t wait to visit again!“

“This is my very first time visiting a winery for a wine tasting activity with my family and I'd say the experience was wonderful. We went here late afternoon and got some red wines to try. I literally have no idea that red wine has different variations and so, because of the wine tasting we did, I found out my preferred type and it was enjoyable! The wines are amazing!

The whole King Family Vineyards offers such a cozy place with lots of wines to choose from. They also sell frozen treats, souvenirs, clothing and more. The staff are nice, too.

I've got to see people hanging out and having fun, enjoying a beautiful day around the vineyard. Some folks play some polo, too! This place is really beautiful because you see so much greenery and mountains around that makes this place the perfect spot to relax and unwind.“

The wines were surprisingly good—well-crafted and balanced—even considering the challenges of Virginia terroir. We added charcuterie plates to the tasting, which were beautifully presented and paired nicely with the wines.

The service was exceptional from start to finish—attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming. The private room had a comfortable, understated elegance that made the whole afternoon feel special without being stuffy.
