“One of my favorite hidden spots in Springfield. The Carne Asada is great! Their black beans are some of my favorite I’ve ever had. The molcajete mexicana is crazy delicious. The staff is super nice. I’m a big fan.

If there’s one thing I wish they’d fix online ordering on their website. It’s perpetually ‘unavailable’ and the number listed in their website is disconnected. The number listed on google is the owners cell I think so it leads to some small confusion if she isn’t at the restaurant and you want a pickup order.”

We had some initial issues with our service and seating , but the General Manager, Stefano and our waitress Shandra took care of us and the service that they gave us was outstanding; probably the best that I ever had at a restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious! We will be back every time that we visit our son. There are so many dishes that I cannot wait to try and the pasta is all homemade. “Fun and cheerful vibes. There's a small selection of entrees you can choose from but all are carefully curated. The mochi waffle was very good and not overly sweet. The French omelette was tender but too salty. The tater tots were like normal tots and the dipping sauces were good. Good casual and fun place for friends and families.”

“When I think omakase, I think sushi. Kappo was wagyu omakase, so I didn’t know what to expect exactly. The wagyu was beyond delicious like melt in your mouth delicious. I added the sake pairing and it did not disappoint! The space was intimate with about ten bar seats and three tables of 4. Chef Ogawa was there showing us the cut of wagyu. The course took around 2.5 hours.”

“This was my first time trying their cookie. I was told by someone that they were too sweet. I tried their oatmeal cookie with raisin and it was delicious. One of the best cookies I've ever had. It was not too sweet at all. Full of flavor , crispy on the outside and chewie on the inside. Unfortunately I didn't get to try other flavors so I can't comment on them but I look forward next time I get a chance.”

“This place is a true local gem. Food is of very high quality, and everything is consistently cooked to perfection. Their consistency is actually really impressive - I’ve never been disappointed by a single thing, and I’ve eaten A LOT of their food. But everything is so good, so I haven’t really made my way outside of the same few items from their menu. The difference is that the staff actually care about their customers, and take pride in their food. It’s not so common these days, and is a pleasant surprise. It’s the reason I will always eat there.”

“This place is perfect, right down to the soap in their bathrooms. They always have an amazing, affordable, diverse selection of wines. The food is also incredible. The staff is always friendly, never pretentious, and never fail to give a good suggestion. (Shout out to Gaile, they might be my favorite server of all time.) As a young person, this is an amazing place to get into wine. The owners, Jackie and Philippe, are fantastic and welcoming hosts. I am a bit of a regular and they are truly lovely people. It is a CRIME that its not the most popular spot in Arlington.”

“Gracious staff welcomed us in. The restraunt was very clean and the decor is beautiful. There are so many vegan options on the menu, it's hard to decide what to try first. We ordered the brown rice garden rolls, pad thai and congee. Everything was delicious. We plan to be frequent customers, and maybe eventually we'll be able to try everything on the menu.”
