“I’ve been to Tous les Jours multiple times at another area. This is the first time that I was at Sterling. Jin and other staff are fantastic! They have their own promotion if the customers buy any bakeries or drinks $25 or more will get free umbrella or mug cup. I would recommend everyone to come here. Bakery is so clean and organized. There is such a large selection.

She is, without a doubt, the best barista I have ever spoken to. She isn't just a good worker; she is a genuinely kind and magnetic person. I love getting to know the staff when I get my drink, but chatting with Mari was a standout experience that I haven't had before. She is a gem of a person and a huge asset to this Starbucks team!“

“From far away, it seems like a really cool hip place to be, but inside it just feels like something‘s missing. Like it feels a little devoid of character here and very generic. The avocado toast has what seems like Ken’s raspberry salad dressing drizzled on it, which was really offputting. I tried to get off as much as possible.
Service was kind of impersonal also. Just didn’t seem like people were interested in being there or making eye contact just a quick order and give you what you asked for, no sort of interaction or warmth.“

“I am quite literally at CAFEIN almost every day. I am a regular at Chantilly location. My partner is a regular at Centreville location. Most workers know both of us separately. I want to start off by saying CAFEIN has hands down the BEST coffee in all of DMV. Nothing compares. I can tell when a business is using CAFEIN beans. That’s how good and unique and high quality it is, there is a reason I’m there every day, and MOST workers are sweet, kind, and amazing. Truly. Every interaction has been nothing short of top tier customer service EXCEPT for one singular person who has repeatedly been rude. At this point CAFEIN needs to step in and discuss this persons behavior and if they want to be associated and represented in this way.

I think this person is a manager at the Chantilly location. She is an Asian female, and unfortunately she has made a terrible reputation for herself as being the rude worker here, trust me she’s known for that for anybody who goes to This location. Firstly I don’t understand the 3pm closing time, but second if a business says 3pm closing time, that doesn’t mean 2:55pm. That means you TAKE ORDERS TILL 3pm. That’s how all businesses work. If your hours are REALLY till 2:45pm then set your business hours officially to that time. This woman has repeatedly rudely spoken to customers, including myself to get them out of the store as it nears 3pm. She comes around and interrupts conversations to make sure they know when to leave. She doesn’t take orders sometimes when it’s nearing 3pm. She shuts off online orders too, to avoid anybody coming in before closing. She isn’t nice about it either, she’s rude in how she speaks to customers.
Today I walk in, a small family with one child walks in front of me, and at 2:58pm (I know it was end of day and that’s my bad) but she immediately says WE CLOSE AT 3PM, and turns everybody away. The small child says but it’s not 3! And frowns as we all walk out. I look forward to my coffee as one of the best parts of my day and truly think CAFEIN is amazing but this one manager is just so rude. Just change your hours if you don’t actually take orders before 3pm, if you don’t plan on getting rid of this rude woman. Everybody at Centreville location is so nice to my partner he is met with being treated with familiarity and inclusivity as somebody who’s a regular. He was on the phone with me when I walked in today & was shocked they turned me away before 3. This was not the first time btw there was one or two times in the past I had even called in & said hey I placed a pickup order and my eta was 3pm on the dot and I have pulled up & had the door locked on me or still been met with WE ARE CLOSED rudely by solely only her. She needs an attitude check. Maybe she doesn’t belong in a coffee shop where you need to have a friendly personality.“

“A traditional LBS(Local Bike Store). The shop works with its customers for their mutual benefit (revenue for the shop, service for the customer), as it should be, not biasing the transaction to either party. The service crew is warm, friendly, and helpful. I hope that I have found my new LBS for supporting my bicycling habit. Love that they incorporate a coffee shop & brewery into their operation too.“

Some of the furniture feels a bit cheap, they use those millennial metal chairs you get at a brewery or an axe throwing place or those $30 burger places which feels very 2014 and out of place. When the furniture is eventually updated to match Reston's broader MCM style it will be the perfect coffee shop. Reston needs more places like this!“

“This is my favorite ice cream store in the whole wide world. You can find gelato that’s equally good in some places in Italy but not everywhere, and even then it’s not better than this. Strawberry, golden kiwi, blood orange, mojito, ginger and tumeric, black tea, melons are all our favorites. Each tastes like the best version of the real fruit or food, incredibly smooth, velvety, never sugary sweet, very refreshing and natural. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the loving care of the process. It’s never piled high in the open, and they’ll give tasting to whatever you want to try so you’ll never regret what you order. I use to think they are priced a bit high but now I just feel very lucky to be able to have this any day that I want and not have to take a flight to Italy, so this place is very reasonable.“

“Oh my gosh! I love this place! We were visiting from Texas and this was our everyday morning stop (and it may or may not have been an evening snack or two also ). All the different pastries were awesome (my son had a mango cream bun every time). You HAVE to try the Tiramisu latte. Oh! Oh! And the Black Forest Cake was the friggin bomb! More than how great the food was, the ownership and staff were spectacular! We felt like we were popping in and seeing old friends. If I am ever anywhere near here, I will definitely come by for more delicious treats!! If you live nearby, support this locally owned shop. They deserve all the success possible.“

The food was fresh and full of flavour, especially the grilled sandwich which was perfectly toasted and paired well with crispy chips and a delicious dip. “I come here almost every day with my baby and really enjoy their hot cappuccino and latte. On a hot day, order a pistachio iced latte (25% or less sweetness)- it is really tasty. I also buy their sourdough and multigrain breads occasionally, which are great. For breakfast, I have been really enjoying the avocado salmon tartine. From pastries/sweets, I would recommend their croissants, pistachio cherry tart, krembos, walnut oatmeal cookie (if you are in a rush and don’t want to be messy, try it! It goes really well with coffee).

Service isn’t bad. Management and staff have always been friendly. They are very busy, so they prioritize speed over friendly chatter, which is OK with me. The atmosphere inside is nice and you can usually find a cosy spot to sit/work. Lots of options to sit indoor or outdoor.“
