“If you want good, authentic Peruvian food this is the place to go. I am Peruvian myself and I always recommend this place. I've gone here for years and they never disappoint. Jalea, Tallerines Verdes, Lomo Saltado, Anticuchos, etc. Everything is delicious here. Also the Chicha Morada and Maracuya are great. Definitely recommend!“

“I always eat there but I called to order and pick up and the girl who answered didn't know anything about the menu, I would tell her the name of the food I wanted and she would repeat another name. Then I asked her if the bistec encebollado could be with fries and she said "when you come ask" which I had to tell her to put me through to someone else because I wanted my food to pick up and I wasn't going to wait there for them to prepare it. Finally the food as always very tasty and I highly recommend it but if they should change or better train the girl who accepts orders by calls as I had to repeat several times to get my order correct.“

“This hole in the wall has phenomenal rotisserie chicken. The spices are incredible. I love getting the spicy green and yellow sauce with the plantains and the fries. It's not fancy and I'm the only non Spanish speaker in the room but worth it for the amazing flavors. Their papusas are also phenomenal. Get the papusa revuelta.“

“Giving 4 stars because I had one of the absolute best steak quesadillas I’ve ever had here a week or two ago. I went back today but it seems they switched the meat and I am not sure how to feel about it… :( also there’s a blob of mayonnaise in place of sour cream. Maybe an off day?“

“The food is quite good: ceviche and jalea and papa a la huainciana (potato side dish) were our choices, last time. Everything was very good. People talk about poor service? We have not experienced that. Today is only our second visit but the service is normal. They ask if we want anything frequently. Again, today is our second visit and there will be a third.“

“The service is absolutely wonderful. Very nice ambiance, the music is very lively. There is a very authentic Puruvian feel here, as if you are at a little food shop in Peru. The chips are fresh and the salsa is home made, they are very delicious. I ordered the Polo Guisado and the Papa Relllena. I expected more of a stew than what came out. I can't complain it was a very large piece of white meat chicken, I ordered dark meat, but they did not have it ready yet. I came pretty early. The picture is attached. It had good flavor, and the chicken was not dry, but I could not really enjoy the broth or the stew, so they brought me a bowl of the juice out. Now, when I got that it changed my view, it was good. The Papa Rellena was different, everything stuffed in a potato. It was good too, just different with good flavor. You have to try the Chicha Moreda.... this juice with cinnamon is awesome. I will be back.“

“This was the tastiest and fastest to go order I've ever gotten. My aunt comes here all the time, she says she loves it because of the staff and the food is actually delicious. Took her advice so we came here together. The staff is the cutest and super friendly! Some of the members do not speak English but they go out of their way to understand your needs. Luckily my family and I are Spanish speaking so we had a brief conversation while we waited for our chicken. They have amazing options!My aunt got the whole chicken with 4 sides for $34 and I got the whole chicken with 2 sides for $28 (I think). They also have an option for a whole chicken 1/2 with 6 sides for $50! We didn't go with that option only because she was buying for her family and I was buying for mine. Sides are good portions and you have the option to choose between 4 individual sauces or a bigger container for the green and yellow sauce. The place is located in a busy shopping center so parking can be limited. Would recommended calling ahead if you do not plan on eating there only because of the parking situation! Overall the place is small, more suitable for smaller parties. It is very clean and well organized. Like I mentioned before we got our food super fast and the chicken was fresh and still warm after driving 20 mins back home. 10/10 for me!“

“Is an African American new to the Virginia area I've noticed a lot of the service I received from the Latino community has been short unpleasant and I felt unwanted. But I wanted to this chicken Rico because we have them in Baltimore. The food presentation temperature with all very nice. The service was welcoming makes me want to go back often.“
