“The food is so good! I’m visiting from NYC and I found this place in a Google search. I didn’t expect it to be this packed, especially on the 4th of July. It was so good that I ordered food to go. Coming from NYC, the amount of food I got for the price was more than I expected. I got the Trifecta and the waffle was huge- it was the side! The coffee was so good and tasted fresh. I wish I could come here again.“

I’ve never had a Kolache before, but YUM. my family and I tried multiple different flavors and EVERY SINGLE Kolache was devoured (which is rare for my young toddlers!). “Food was excellent. Atmosphere was great. Only complaint is that the woman at the front got my order wrong and insisted that she was right. I didn’t want to make a big scene so I just let it slide. Wouldn’t want to come again if I have to deal with a cashier that has a poor attitude.“

“Wow. Incredibly impressed with this place. The coffee tasted amazing. The latte was fantastic (get the vanilla cream) with a perfect amount of foam on top. The Nutella acma and the egg sandwich were a perfect start to the day. And everything reasonably priced. Better than reasonable- I haven’t seen a $5 breakfast sandwich in years. And a flavored latte under $5 is almost unheard of. Bathroom was clean. This place was great and I can’t wait to go back.“

“This review is more to give kudos to a couple of people. Rebecca at the front went above and beyond to accommodate a sticky situation when it wS extremely busy. The original host stand person, Janelle, was okay with telling us we had a much longer wait than first given and would have been okay with us leaving. Rebecca came up with solutions and options and we ended up having to only wait a few more minutes without inconveniencing others.
Once seated, our server, Kelly, was great. Janelle once again initially came to help and then forgot our request and just left us.
We will continue to come back for folks like Rebecca and Kelly and hope Janelle will improve.“

“Hands down, the best cheesesteak I've ever had — a solid 10/10.
If you're local, this spot is an absolute must-try. The meat was perfectly seasoned and tender, the cheese melted just right, and the roll was fresh and held everything together without getting soggy. Plus, you need to add jalapeno, it's a kick!!! Every bite was packed with flavor. You can tell they put care into every detail. Whether you're a cheesesteak connoisseur or just looking for a great meal, you won’t be disappointed. “One of the best breakfast spots I’ve tried in the area.
The place was extremely clean, the service was very fast, and the food quality was honestly outstanding. You can truly taste that they use high-quality and fresh ingredients — nothing felt cheap or processed. Everything was delicious and prepared perfectly.
What impressed me the most is that despite the premium quality, the prices were actually very reasonable. Definitely worth visiting again and highly recommended for breakfast lovers.“

“This is my go-to for lunch when I am at the office and I've been going for 5 years. Family run business that makes the best sandwiches in Tysons. It's in the basement of an office building and is a very utilitarian space--you don't come here for the atmosphere. That said, it is always clean and well stocked with non-alcoholic drinks. Breakfast and lunch sandwiches are both great. You can eat there, or grab and take back to your office if you are nearby. My co-workers and I think the prices are on the low side, but that may be the economics of their location. A typical sandwich there is anywhere from $3-$5 cheaper than what you would expect topside in the Boro or Galleria, and the portions are actually bigger.

The owners are the best of best. Always welcoming and friendly.“

“Metroplace Cafe in Vienna is one of those under-the-radar spots that delivers. When I say under-the-radar, I mean it. I have lived in the area and commuted past this office building for 30 years and never knew it had a cafe. If it wasn't for the recommendation of a friend, I still wouldn't know about it.

It’s a no-frills deli that kinda reminds me of a school cafeteria but with a surprisingly wide menu and seriously good prices. They even have some Korean dishes. We tried the reuben, the cheesesteak, and the California chicken panini — all freshly made and really solid. Nothing fancy, just honest, tasty food.

What really sets the place apart is Ben, the owner. He’s incredibly friendly and welcoming, and you can tell he cares about every customer who walks in. He also happens to specialize randomly in espresso drinks that would make James Hoffmann proud. Ben gave us latte, cappuccino, chai, espresso, and I forgot the rest to sample, all good. It’s rare to find that kind of coffee in a casual spot like this.

If you want something fresh, quick, and cheap, Metroplace Cafe is worth a visit.“

“I've been coming here since 2021, and something has definitely changed recently.

The only way I can describe it is that the bagels seem to have lost their soul.

They used to be crisp on the outside, airy on the inside, and just imperfect enough in size and shape to feel genuinely handmade. Those little variations were part of their charm.

Now, they taste more processed and mass-produced. Every bagel looks and tastes exactly the same, which reminds me more of a chain sandwich shop than the distinctive bagels that originally made me a loyal customer.

The service is still excellent, the store remains welcoming, and I even like the newer logo.

But I genuinely miss the old-style bagels. If possible, I'd love to see a return to the baking approach that made them stand out in the first place.“

“Great cafe! They serve a good amount of food for a reasonable price. My wife and I stopped by for breakfast and had pancakes, sausage, and eggs. Service was quick and staff were friendly. Cafe was clean and modern. Don't expect a dine-in restaurant. This is a your typical cafe that serves local offices. They have plenty of seating inside and outside the cafe, however. We sat outside and enjoyed breakfast during a nice quiet morning.“

“I've only done the hot bar/salad bar here and not MTO. Everything always seems very fresh, there's a great variety. The cashiers are super quick. Drink selection is huge (fountain and bottled drinks). Great option if you're super hungry or just need a little snack since the bars are by weight.“

“Great place to go for brunch! I went with a group of friends we got a pitcher of mimosa and breakfast. I ordered the Charlie, which was chicken and waffles with two types of Jam. It was delicious!! The waffle was very good, it was like a biscuit in a waffle shape. The chicken and the jam made it all the better, definitely a good price too. Hit up this I-Hop, lowk the food was crap but out waiter Chad Richardson made the whole night, complimenting our whole group, very inviting and friendly.
