“My friends and I had a fantastic time indulging in multiple rounds of Lemon Drop Martinis, along with delicious appetizers like cornbread and wings, followed by a delightful dinner. Our server was exceptional, making the evening even more special as we celebrated my friend's birthday. To our surprise, they treated my friend to a complimentary glass of Prosecco adorned with a birthday candle. We couldn't resist sharing our entrees, which included smoked brisket meatballs, pan-roasted shrimp, and fried catfish, all of which were incredibly tasty. The portions were generous enough for sharing, and the fried catfish was simply the best we've ever tasted, prompting us to order some to take home. I wholeheartedly recommend this place for a cozy evening with friends or family!“

“In addition to a wide variety of fabulous baked goodies, we discovered Minglewood's Delightful BBQ and prepared Chick'n Salad Croissant. Both were excellent and I particularly enjoyed the texture and mix of spices in the BBQ (this has taken the crown as my favorite plant based BBQ). Our second visit to Minglewood, and definitely not our last.“

“We tried Burtons tonight for my wife's birthday, and couldn't have been happier with out choice! The restaurant had a lively atmosphere - but felt really cozy and inviting. The food was absolutely amazing. From the calamari to steak and the lobster role, everything we had was delicious. “Terrific staff and beer as always. New set up is terrible. Nobody wants to have a full service brewery. Nobody wants to have to reserve a table. Please go back to original set up. let us sit where we want. order a beer when we want. If we want full service we will go to the restaurant side. This may work at the other locations, but Richmond isn't Charlottesville. This was our goto brewery, today's has us thinking differently now“

Our friend with Celiac could choose from almost the entire menu which is unheard of, especially at an Italian restaurant. If you're looking for a truly delicious meal, you'll find it at La Grotta! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐“

“After this place has been on “RVA Restaurants to Try” list for about 3 years, this was our first time eating at Fat Dragon, but it certainly not be our last! The wonton soup was the best my mother has ever tasted…keep in mind, she’s traveled all over the world. The ginger dressing was so delicious, I asked the server if they sold it in bottles. The garlic chicken and basil beef were both so tender and flavorful, I would highly recommend them both. And last but not least, our server was great! Do not wait to try this place like I did!!!! “Our go-to for desserts, and they just happen to be vegan! Flavorful, beautifully prepared, unique items you can't find elsewhere. The savory options are amazing too, they are magicians with seitan. Don't miss their seasonal offerings for holidays! Most recently we had a delicious box of items for high tea from their Mothers' Day menu and everything was perfect and fresh. We are really lucky to have Sunflower Gardenz in our city, a hidden gem for sure“

“I come to IH all the time, right on my street. This morning I got the mixed berry galette and it is the best thing I’ve ever eaten. Not too sweet, perfectly flaky, with the slight crunch of granulated sugar washed on the dough. It is absolute perfection. Please consider making it a regular 😍 Thanks for all you do. Great bakers, great staff, love the music. Thankful you’re always there for brekkie when I’ve been too lazy to grocery shop.“

“Small shop with a Rustic vibe with really good coffee and bagels. This is not the coffee shop to try to work in. The brown sugar cardamom latte is really good and have the perfect cardamom flavor that isn't overpowering. Really good service. I like that there is a free library outside and they have free community meals for people who needs it.“

“I never post reviews but DJ deserves a huge shoutout. I order take out or delivery from here probably once a week (for the past year or so) and every time I go in to get my order if DJ is working, he has a huge smile and welcomes me in by name. He is so sweet and always makes sure my order is correct. I’ve also never had issues with my order when he has handled it. Today, I ordered delivery and he even wrote on the cookie bag Hey Mrs. Lexie, Enjoy & Merry Christmas. These little things are the level of customer service that go above and beyond and keep us coming back. He is vital to this company and deserves some sort of promotion. We obviously will continue coming back but definitely wanted to give recognition to one of the best employees! Thank you DJ for being amazing!“

“Uber driver suggested this wonderful location. Not far from the VHM was just walking distance. I was greeted by the super friendly host. I ordered the Hawaiian pizza and was able to customize it with red sauce instead of the white. Staff was great, friendly and helpful. Atmosphere is great and very inviting. Looked like they had a great selection in drinks and beverages. Will definitely be revisiting this place.“

Immediately!! They provided the most genuine experience and made sure we were all taken care of to the best degree. They were so thoughtful and accommodated our food allergies and questions. They met every expectation and went beyond. Would rate Gabby and Sarah 100 stars if I could.“

“Went for Valentines day and the service were wonderful. The staff was friendly. The cold and hot food were fantastic! The meats were amazing. We had such a good time that we went back during lunch 2 weeks later. The lunch time was perfect because it wasn't packed. There are a couple fewer options at lunch, but also cost less, so I was even happier with the lunch experience. We will be going back.“
