“Caught up with an old friend I hadn’t seen since around ’95/’96 over lunch on 6/17/2025. I’m not usually a downtown Richmond person—city crowds just aren’t my thing—but I’m really glad he suggested this spot. I made the drive from King William, and it was absolutely worth it! The food was fantastic, and the laid-back atmosphere made it the perfect place to reconnect. I had the pork carnitas with a Caesar side salad—super flavorful, and the pork was incredibly tender. The Caesar dressing? Easily one of the best I’ve ever had. I’d love to know if it was homemade or store-bought, because I need it in my life! Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a relaxed and cool meeting spot. I’m already planning to explore more RIC gems soon!“

“This is an Amazing place to dine, took my fiancé there bc she loves pizza; walked in and got hit by the smell of pizza baking, while my eyes went quickly to the display case full of real Italian desserts, clearly made with the one ingredient most places are missing these days, Love. As we sat enjoying a slice of pepperoni pizza waiting on our order as its being handmade in front of our eyes; giving us quite the experience; when the incredible owner walked in with the biggest smile on his face. He engaged with us, allowed us to try some of his amazing real Italian desserts! As soon as he told us he had Real Italian Made Gelato we knew we had to get some; he let us try every flavor and described the flavors we would be experiencing...the flavors were amazing and we ended up taking his suggestion for a slice of Pistachio Chocolate Mousse Cake with Pistachio Gelato and it tasted like heaven in our mouths! The restaurant was highly recommended to us by local Richmond friends who, like ourselves, are seasonal New Yorkers who sought out the best local “New York Style” Pizza. Our experience was outstanding. First, the atmosphere of the restaurant and the professionalism of the staff was refreshing after a long day of work. We were welcomed with open arms by the owner who really made us feel very welcome. The menu offered quite a selection and variety of authentic Italian dishes. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious, flavorful and stunning to look at. The ingredients were fresh and the portions were abundant. I highly recommend visiting this special restaurant and trying their brick oven pizzas which are available with an assortment of toppings. “Best New York style pizza in the area. The pepperoni is genuinely good and has FLAVOR, not just grease. The cheese is also pretty good by itself. I can't speak for the other toppings but you have to go out of your way to get good pepperoni so I would imagine the other toppings are similarly good.“

“I love zorch Pizza Parlor in Forest Hill. We’ve been here twice. The first time we went we ordered half cheese and half sausage, cheese is my favorite pie as it really gives the best representation of the love put into a pie. We went home and had a great dinner time but we decided that the next time we would sit down and enjoy their service and atmosphere. The service is great. I think they recognized me from my past reviews and altercation I’ve had with a pizza place in Carver. They were very welcoming and inviting as soon as we walked in they asked if we had already ordered, or if we wanted to sit down. Our waitress was extremely nice unfortunately I can’t remember her name I was so excited to order and they were playing Ninja Turtles on the TV. I’m a sucker for classic 90s cartoons. We ordered the almost like a pizza pie, this is not like a regular pizza and I’ve never had this style of pizza anywhere else. It was delicious, the crust was flaky and crunchy and the pizza was well cooked with pepperoni crispy edges and just the right amount of cheese. Let me tell you this was a big pizza and I was full three slices in. My girlfriend liked it but she wasn’t a big fan of the sweeter sauce. Next time we are going she wants to try the grandma pie.“

“I am a grandmother visiting from out of town. I came to my son’s house. I called Frank’s and another place and couldn’t get anybody to help me deliver. Deliver pizza to my grandkids and then I called Jojo’s, and the gentleman couldn’t have been kinder set up my delivery took my payment over the phone, including my tip, felt like old-fashioned service not all this new stuff with Uber eats and all that other stuff can’t wait for the food to get here. I will definitely order from them again next time I come I love kindness and they were wonderful.“

“Love this place, grew up with the Southside location, just realized this one delivers to me. Only gotten delivery, and it's old school with Call in only. But it's also old school with no ridiculous delivery fees. Pricing is way better than any pizza chain (And any regular NY pizza place in the area), and Much better Pizza also. On a standard large pizza delivery you're looking at saving close to 10 bucks then if you go somewhere else.“

So when lunch time rolls around Joe's is our 'go-to'. Everything is ALWAYS tasty and portions generous. The size of a slice of pizza blew my nephews mind. Haha.
