“Caught up with an old friend I hadn’t seen since around ’95/’96 over lunch on 6/17/2025. I’m not usually a downtown Richmond person—city crowds just aren’t my thing—but I’m really glad he suggested this spot. I made the drive from King William, and it was absolutely worth it! The food was fantastic, and the laid-back atmosphere made it the perfect place to reconnect. I had the pork carnitas with a Caesar side salad—super flavorful, and the pork was incredibly tender. The Caesar dressing? Easily one of the best I’ve ever had. I’d love to know if it was homemade or store-bought, because I need it in my life! Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a relaxed and cool meeting spot. I’m already planning to explore more RIC gems soon!“

“One of the best pizza crusts in Richmond, coupled with generous toppings. When you order extra cheese here, you actually get it! Only negative is price - the other night (May 2025) I ordered a large with extra cheese, pepperoni, sausage, hamburger, and onions and it was $44. I was shocked. In their defense, the toppings (especially cheese) was so plentiful that I made 3 meals out of it - dinner, then lunch and dinner the next day. Still, $50 for a pizza (with tip) - I picked it up myself - is still kinda crazy. It was VERY good though.“

“It's CiCis, what else do you expect. Pay a fair price for AYCE Pizza and more. It's not New Yorks best but you get what you pay for. Restaurant was very clean, as well as restrooms. Buffet table was always full and moved quickly. Service was exceptional. Manager walk around to check on customers. Very good experience.“

I leave reviews because I rely on them when I’m in unfamiliar areas, and I like to support local spots I haven’t tried before. Bellacino’s was one of those places—and I’m really glad I gave it a try.

The atmosphere was charming and clean, and the place gave off a genuine, welcoming vibe. It felt like a family-owned business, and you could tell they put care into what they do. The customer service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and warm without being overbearing.

I ordered a personal-sized pizza with sausage and pepperoni. The crust was great—crispy on the outside, soft inside, and held up well with the generous toppings. The cheese was flavorful, the meats were well-seasoned, and the whole thing hit the spot. Perfect for someone just looking for something tasty and satisfying to wind down the day.

I also got a side salad and was pleasantly surprised. Most side salads are just an afterthought—iceberg lettuce and a cherry tomato—but not here. It came with a variety of fresh ingredients, all crisp and colorful. Their choice of dressing (Ken’s) was a great touch—simple, but delicious.

“As New Yorkers we really know our pizza and Italian cuisine. We tend to have high standards of expectation. That Is why we were pleasantly surprised when we visited with Apollo’s Pizza. The restaurant was highly recommended to us by local Richmond friends who, like ourselves, are seasonal New Yorkers who sought out the best local “New York Style” Pizza. Our experience was outstanding. First, the atmosphere of the restaurant and the professionalism of the staff was refreshing after a long day of work. We were welcomed with open arms by the owner who really made us feel very welcome. The menu offered quite a selection and variety of authentic Italian dishes. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious, flavorful and stunning to look at. The ingredients were fresh and the portions were abundant. I highly recommend visiting this special restaurant and trying their brick oven pizzas which are available with an assortment of toppings. The great thing is we can also order out on nights when all we want to do is go home to relax. This really is an awesome place.“

“As someone who has a gluten allergy it’s hard to find quick food options but I had a great experience at this location of &Pizza. Abbie assisted me when my friend and I went in. I asked her for gluten free crust and as soon as I told her that, she asked if it was an allergy, I said yes and she proceeded to change her glove and wipe her pizza station to ensure I was not exposed to gluten. I was very appreciative of that! Very good customer service at this location!“

“I am a grandmother visiting from out of town. I came to my son’s house. I called Frank’s and another place and couldn’t get anybody to help me deliver. Deliver pizza to my grandkids and then I called Jojo’s, and the gentleman couldn’t have been kinder set up my delivery took my payment over the phone, including my tip, felt like old-fashioned service not all this new stuff with Uber eats and all that other stuff can’t wait for the food to get here. I will definitely order from them again next time I come I love kindness and they were wonderful.“

“I came in for lunch while working in the city and wasn’t disappointed.

The slice of pizza I got was good and the sub was great. The fries that came with the sub were top tier, probably the best fries of any pizza place I’ve been to.
I received excellent customer service. The staff were very friendly. The dining area was clean which is always refreshing to see.
The menu is pretty varied, there’s definitely something for everyone. My only regret is I wasn’t able to try everything on it in one sitting!

All in all, I give it 5 stars. Quick service, great food and I know for a fact I’ll be back to eat there next time I’m near the city.“

“I have been eating Gino’s pizza for about a little more than a year. Their pizza is Delicioso good. It brings me back to when I grew up in The New York style and taste of pizza. The crust of the pizza is very important and they have it down pack to a “T” Once they hand me my pizza pie and I get outside and smell the aroma coming from the box it takes me back home to the The Bronx. The pizza is fresh , the mozzarella cheese is right and the sausage is perfect. When you walk through the doors of Gino’s Pizza the atmosphere is welcoming and they are always polite. This is a family business that is on display when you enter the establishment.. You witness stair steps of a family generation working together to make really good tasting pizza and other delicious food.. I highly recommend a visit to Gino’s Pizza .

“The food, as always was incredible and a good value - I had the baked shrimp Chesapeake, with tons of crab and shrimp. Delicious! The veggies were cooked and seasoned perfectly. The Hanover Tomato Caprese salad was fresh and light. My only complaint was that the air conditioning units (not central air) were not working in some areas, which no one seemed surprised about. The banquet room in the front was much cooler but they said they wouldn't seat anyone there even though it was open that night. Leaving customers uncomfortable in a hot dining room when you have a large banquet room that's cool, does not feel like putting the customer first.“
