Huge ice cream selection and the best milkshake to be found on this side of town. Prices are reasonable. Good portion sizes. If in the mood for an all American meal (subs burgers fries etc) this is your place.“

“My family and I took my Mother there for her 91st birthday. In all there were 14 of us. The staff took great care of us. We ordered from the brunch menu. Everyone one of us had a wonderful time. The food was tasty, chef (AJ) even came out to say Happy Birthday to his Grandmother! Several of us said we will return again. The dinner menu looks amazing I wanted to stay for dinner but I had to head home and I was too full from brunch. I wish Sweet P's much success!“

“We had never been here before, but we gave it a whirl. The dining area was very clean. The service was very nice. Logan was our server, and was polite and smiled. We asked about their food and he took time to help us with it. The manager also was very nice when we asked go talk to him. To his surprise, we took time to tell him we enjoyed the place. He made sure we got our employee’s name so we could mention in the review. We did not buy the shakes, but if I could have eaten and drank that much, I would have. The price was also very good.“

“I have noticed some comments on here saying that they were excited to try but when they got there it was closed down, please be patient with the owners guys the husband is a veteran of the navy, the army & the marines he has had some health issues recently and him & his wife who is the sweetest person in the world run the place by themselves so they have to shut it down sometimes when they are not able to make it. We all age one day right so if you are going to show up have your expectations set accordingly and also, show up with some respect.

The regulars of places like this go by all the time do not come to nine mile road or RVA period disrespecting, bullying, or trying to prove points because you didn’t get your way. You will be in a very unfavorable situation.

“It's a well known Hotspot for the younger crowd, so I thought I'd share my thoughts on Cookout from an older adult's perspective. This place is AMAZING! No matter what time you go, the food is fresh and hot! The milkshakes are INCREDIBLE..and a huge variety as well and unlike the laziness of McDonald's not wanting to take care of the shake machine, I have never been told their shake machine is down at Cookout! The menu choices are great too...make sure to try their BBQ sandwich and hushpuppies for a nice change.

“I am a DoorDash driver, and I’ve been to this location frequently. Every single time, it is spotless, everyone is so kind, and they are quick to bring out the food. When I was there today, there was an ENTIRE group of people with one singular order (I’d say around 35 people? All on one ticket.) and I had 2 DoorDash orders. Let me tell you, I have never seen ANY restaurant, regardless of if it was fast food or not, bring out such quality food in such a timely fashion. Not to mention they were so patient with the entire group, and me! They were so nice, and such troopers. Good job today, guys!!“

Everything was delicious but i wasnt fond of the mac n cheese.. alot of people coming in to get food very busy place. Food was great, and our server was a lovely young woman who dealt with another complaining customer with grace and respect.
