“Visited the newly opened Tapioca Express in Herndon today. Enjoyed their boba and was surprised they had so many snack options!! Favorites were the shrimp tempura with sweet chili sauce and the fried string beans. They didn’t seem very fried which is good in my book. Nicely seasoned too. Their crispy chicken was also good we were able to choose the spice level and I went with medium which was perfect. The chichi fries were great… love the chichi sauce that comes with it! As for drinks I loved the Mangonada. It was so beautiful and delicious for how hot and humid it was outside. Also enjoyed the honeydew snow bubble and combination yogurt frost which tasted similar to a Greek yogurt parfait with fruit. The staff was very friendly, the space is cute but small more of a to-go and enjoy outside type of place. They do however have a high top table if you’re able to snag it! Definitely coming back to try more of their menu soon!“

“Just went here today and the employees here are always so kind and helpful! I forgot to add boba to my tea and the person who helped me gave me a courtesy boba since I come in often. I never have a bad experience here. I will be coming here way more often! I love this place for getting my boba tea!“

People are saying the drink is watered down and I just think that’s because they let the ice melt in their drink like ofc it’s gonna taste waters down, but I understand ig. “By far of the best boba places I have ever been to. There is a kiosk up front where you can view the menu and order and they have a wide range of selections to choose from. There’s a good amount of seating, it’s never too crowded, and the inside is very nice with lots of cool authentic designs. Definitely a great place for a date or to hang out with friends and family. It’s also right by a lot of other establishments making this location incredibly convenient. Parking, however, may be limited as the lot is kind of small. Nevertheless, this is one of the best boba shops I have ever been to and you should definitely check it out.“

“We came in with a party of 6 on a busy Saturday night and couldn’t be happier with the food or the service!! My 7yo asked for trainer chopsticks and while they didn’t have them, the servers fashioned some from a pair of adult chopsticks and a napkin! The smile on my 7yo’s face was just amazing! They were super personable and accommodating! Thank you for making my family’s experience great! We all Left stuffed and will be back again!!“

“I was craving ramen and decided to give bubblebee a try and I was not disappointed. The build your own ramen is such an amazing menu item and allowed me to pick just what I wanted. I chose a spicy miso base with classic ramen noodles, green onions, a soft boiled egg and pork & chive gyoza. I inhaled the entire bowl. Highly recommend.“

“Fun experience and delicious beverage treats! We enjoyed being able to order on the screen and our drinks were prepared very quickly! A little pricey but when you consider the cost of everything and how much is going into the drinks, it’s no different than anything else. We appreciated the kind tea makers confirming that we wanted each of the ingredients and really wanted to ensure they got our drinks correct. We signed up for the loyalty program and will definitely be back to try other drinks. We enjoyed mango and strawberry machi. Our first but definitely not last visit!“

“Wow. Went here with my kids and bought three different drinks as pictured below; a strawberry milk tea (best strawberry milk tea my daughter has ever drank), a taro smoothie (tasted like French vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce), and a virgin lychee mojito.
One of my kids said she’d eat almost anything from the menu because of the delectable choices.
Cashier lady was nice, too, and the place had a really nice atmosphere.
Doesn’t disappoint! 😋“

“love this place. the decor is simple but very nice atmosphere. we ordered the pho and ramen and they were very good. the broth is yummy. the is a lot of chicken in the ramen. the service was quick and friendly. there was a steady stream of take out orders. definitely returning.“

“Great customer service from the workers, and they were very helpful with helping me choose what to order. But shame on the owner for allowing these workers to work in a hot environment where the A/C is not working. I would hope someone would come with a fan but who knows! Giving the stars because the dessert items are delicious. But I feel very bad for the workers that don’t deserve to work in these conditions.“

“Discovered a hidden gem today. Supreme Thai Bistro came up on yelp when I searched halal options in Chantilly. Hadn’t heard of it before and on calling they confirmed beef and chicken being halal. A pleasant surprise walking in. Was initially thinking on doing a carry out, but the ambiance and the fact that me and husband were the only ones there, had us opting for dine in instead. For starters, the restaurant reminds me on the lush rain forests of Thailand...loved the way they’ve set up! For our first post-lockdown meal. We ordered the lunch specials for each of us. For $9 you get tom yum soup, an egg roll and an entree option. We got a beef green curry, and a chicken drunken noodles. Also added an appetizer of chicken satay and another spicy beef salad. Wasn’t going to turn down the opportunity to try out some halal options when I could. Must say, was instantly blown over by their presentation. Taste and flavor was also not a disappointment. The beef salad was very similar to ones Iv had in Thailand. The tum tum soup was on the sweet side, but nevertheless very flavourful. Green curry was spot on and so were the drunken noodles. We asked for medium spice level with the spice tray on the side, but I never needed to adjust the spices for my taste. next time you’r craving some halal food, I urge you to try out Supreme Thai bistro if you happen to be in the area.“

“I’m willing to bet that 5T Ice is one of those local gems that you might not be checking out enough. Don’t let the name fool you - this is place is FAR more than frozen yogurt, delicious bubble teas and coffees. I’ve been during the week and ALWAYS have to get the house special Banh Mi, but on weekends it’s basically like Christmas for your mouth. They have all of these homemade Vietnamese specialties and if you can’t decide, I strongly recommend the scorched-earth approach I used and just get everything you carry out of there.“
