“I love coming to Kokee Tea in Aldie! It is my go-to spot for both bubble tea and coffee whenever I am in the area. Whether I’m in the mood for a refreshing fruit tea, a creamy milk tea, or a perfectly crafted coffee, this place never disappoints.

The atmosphere is modern and inviting, making it a great spot to relax, catch up with friends, or even get some work done. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, taking the time to explain different drink options and helping customize orders exactly how you like them.

The quality of the drinks is outstanding—you can tell they use high-quality ingredients. Their Classic Milk Tea is smooth and rich, and the Brown Sugar Boba Latte is absolutely delicious with just the right amount of sweetness. “Visited the newly opened Tapioca Express in Herndon today. Enjoyed their boba and was surprised they had so many snack options!! Favorites were the shrimp tempura with sweet chili sauce and the fried string beans. They didn’t seem very fried which is good in my book. Nicely seasoned too. Their crispy chicken was also good we were able to choose the spice level and I went with medium which was perfect. The chichi fries were great… love the chichi sauce that comes with it! As for drinks I loved the Mangonada. It was so beautiful and delicious for how hot and humid it was outside. Also enjoyed the honeydew snow bubble and combination yogurt frost which tasted similar to a Greek yogurt parfait with fruit. The staff was very friendly, the space is cute but small more of a to-go and enjoy outside type of place. They do however have a high top table if you’re able to snag it! Definitely coming back to try more of their menu soon!“

People are saying the drink is watered down and I just think that’s because they let the ice melt in their drink like ofc it’s gonna taste waters down, but I understand ig. “We came in with a party of 6 on a busy Saturday night and couldn’t be happier with the food or the service!! My 7yo asked for trainer chopsticks and while they didn’t have them, the servers fashioned some from a pair of adult chopsticks and a napkin! The smile on my 7yo’s face was just amazing! “This Kokee Tea stand is ok, but I prefer going to the Main Street location. The Fair Oaks make the bubble tea before you order so you can’t really change your mind, which I think is a little ridiculous because it should be as soon as you pay, and they have rules about touching the counter. The cashier was also judgmental about me getting a lychee tea with boba, and I had to give in and say I wanted both boba and lychee topping. The teas here are great, but the ones at the Kokee Tea - Main Street location are even better. I’m also a rewards member and unable to redeem my points when I go to this Kokee Tea.“

A little pricey but when you consider the cost of everything and how much is going into the drinks, it’s no different than anything else. We appreciated the kind tea makers confirming that we wanted each of the ingredients and really wanted to ensure they got our drinks correct. “I was craving ramen and decided to give bubblebee a try and I was not disappointed. The build your own ramen is such an amazing menu item and allowed me to pick just what I wanted. I chose a spicy miso base with classic ramen noodles, green onions, a soft boiled egg and pork & chive gyoza. I inhaled the entire bowl. Highly recommend.“

“I recently visited Tzone Dessert Bar in Sterling, VA, and while my experience had its highs and lows, it was overall decent. The fruity tea I got was "I Love Tzone". Overall the drink itself was good. I loved the flavor and the freshness of the fruit. Personally I didn't like the boba that they had. It had no flavor overall. Plus the croissant was quite disappointing; it seems over stale and more or less store bought, On the bright side, the service was excellent—prompt and friendly, which really enhanced the visit. I’d be willing to give Tzone another try, hoping for a better dessert next time.“

“I’m willing to bet that 5T Ice is one of those local gems that you might not be checking out enough. Don’t let the name fool you - this is place is FAR more than frozen yogurt, delicious bubble teas and coffees. I’ve been during the week and ALWAYS have to get the house special Banh Mi, but on weekends it’s basically like Christmas for your mouth. They have all of these homemade Vietnamese specialties and if you can’t decide, I strongly recommend the scorched-earth approach I used and just get everything you carry out of there.“

“Discovered a hidden gem today. Supreme Thai Bistro came up on yelp when I searched halal options in Chantilly. Hadn’t heard of it before and on calling they confirmed beef and chicken being halal. A pleasant surprise walking in. Was initially thinking on doing a carry out, but the ambiance and the fact that me and husband were the only ones there, had us opting for dine in instead. For starters, the restaurant reminds me on the lush rain forests of Thailand...loved the way they’ve set up! For our first post-lockdown meal. We ordered the lunch specials for each of us. For $9 you get tom yum soup, an egg roll and an entree option. We got a beef green curry, and a chicken drunken noodles. Also added an appetizer of chicken satay and another spicy beef salad. Wasn’t going to turn down the opportunity to try out some halal options when I could. Must say, was instantly blown over by their presentation. Taste and flavor was also not a disappointment. The beef salad was very similar to ones Iv had in Thailand. The tum tum soup was on the sweet side, but nevertheless very flavourful. Green curry was spot on and so were the drunken noodles. We asked for medium spice level with the spice tray on the side, but I never needed to adjust the spices for my taste. next time you’r craving some halal food, I urge you to try out Supreme Thai bistro if you happen to be in the area.“
