“From the moment we walked into Umpli Dumpling, we knew we were in for something special. The atmosphere is welcoming. The food is absolutely delicious; our waiter, Jonathan, recommended the fried pork chops, the new pork belly, and the chicken ramen.

However, what truly stood out was the service. Our waiter, Jonathan, was exceptional. He knew the menu inside and out, gave us excellent recommendations, and made sure our drinks were never empty. “I was craving Japanese curry and this is where I ended up. It's located inside the Lotte Asian supermarket, a food court. Look for table area and you will find a variety of small eateries, of which Hikari is one of. I got the Pork Katsu curry (there is also a chicken option instead of the pork). I enjoyed the meal, it was tasty and generous portion. The breaded fried pork tasted fresh and made to order. Even the simple small miso soup that came with it was tasty. I am usually not a fan of miso soup but this one tasted perfect. I will go there again.“

Found this place on a word of mouth recommendation from a neighbor and it did not disappoint! Small little locally owned no frills restaurant serving high quality authentic Tex Mex. This place is tucked behind a 7-11 so it's easy to miss if you aren't looking for it but I'm glad I found it! I'll be back for sure and can't wait to try the Carne Asada!“

“Came here with a group of friends and had an amazing experience. The kimchi is hands down the best I’ve had in the area — fresh, perfectly spicy, and not overpowering. I had the beef tofu stew, which was delicious with just the right level of heat. We also split the pork appetizer three ways, and it was a generous portion — more than enough as a side. On top of that, the food came out in about 5 minutes and still tasted fresh. Quick service and great food — we had a fantastic time. Highly recommend!“

“I ordered over the phone then went to the wrong Chinese take out. 🤦‍♀️ We finally get to the right place 25 minutes late but everyone was kind and they even gave me $2 off my order because they didn’t understand about me asking about a children’s size portion (which they do not have.) I told them there was no need to give me a discount, but they did anyway. 😊

We get home and amazingly enough our food was still hot! 👍 I thought the moo goo gai pan was pretty good, my daughter liked her Lo mein, but my husband thought the General Tso Chicken was just ok.

“Ordered takeout since it was getting late. Got the vegetarian pad Thai that comes with tofu and got some extra vegetables since I like veggies. The flavor was so good, the spice level was perfect, and the aroma of the noodles was intense. The quantity was also really good, as I made 3 meals with hefty portions out of one order. Could’ve even made it 4 but I was really hungry one of the times after skipping breakfast.“

“Worst location. I have never been in Panera Bread this dirty before. I visit this chain few times a week all over norther VA, this place was bad…every table was dirty and greasy, filthy bathroom..it was horrible. I felt like getting up and leaving right away. I told one of the employees that tables need to be wiped and he acknowledged the issue. Ten minutes later I saw one of employees running around spraying tables barely wiping them dry. I had to get up and finish the job myself. Panera Bread, this is not up to your standards! Very disappointing. Will avoid this location at all cost.

“If you are craving some hot soup on a cold day, this is it!

1. Reservation: won't hurt, or else you will need to wait 30 mins during busy times. They have about ~12 tables and not a huge establishment.

2. Service: 4 stars. no nonsense, straightforward, aloof even. But I didn't care. They don't need to be super nice, just needs to be non unpleasant.

3. Food: 5 stars

hot soups: they are all great! they are specialized in soup and you can tell from their quality.
