My husband and I love Agora for its fresh pastries and amazing coffee menu. The shop is in a cute historical building right in the heart of the community, downtown Fredericksburg. And the moment you step into the shop you feel instantly cozy and excited to be there.
Agora has indoor and outdoor seating which we love.
This coffee shop gets busy, but let me tell you, this team works and hustle’s, and we’ve never had an issue getting our order in a timely manner. Check them out, you won’t regret it!

“This place is THE best Pho place i have ever had. I've tried a lot of places all throughout Virginia and Pho Saigon is probably the ONLY place I've ever been satisfied with. When I had Pneumonia a few months back, I literally drove 2.5 hours from Norfolk, JUST to get their soup because - and I'm not sure how - It's the BEST soup (and Pho place) I have ever had and makes me feel soooo much better. It's like medication in a soup! If I'm sick, I come here for my soup. When my father introduced me to this place years ago, it easily became one of my favorite places to ever eat when it came to soup. And fried rice! So much amazing flavor, GREAT portions, and honestly, if this place ever disappeared, I'd dig my own grave. Lmao. I hope it stays around for as long as I live. I'd drive across country for their food. If you haven't tried them, DO IT. Their Steak Pho Noodle soup is the best thing on this earth, and if I could, I'd have it every week, or even every day! You get well worth the money. Their Saigon bowl size is enough for 2 servings. On top of all of that, their customer service is to die for! Amazing people, and they are SO sweet. 1000000000%+ recommend!“

The selection was amazing in the size of the donuts was large but very accepting of the sweet challenge 😆. My oldest grandson loves everything sprinkles, so I couldn't wait for him to take a bite. “We were roadtripping on 95 and needed a place to stop for snacks so we selected Foode and Mercantile. What a very pleasant surprise. After winding through a tree lined road boarding the river, we found the restaurant in quaint downtown Fredericksburg, VA. We each ordered bourbon based drinks, coffee, tea and Smoked Salmon, Quiche and a gingerbread scone! It was delicious! They quickly fixed what was a smaller than normal portion of salmon and kept coffee and water glasses full without asking. Very nice spot! Fresh cooked to order food with great service! It was a 4.7 experience. Visit and enjoy!“

“We decided to stop in after some late shopping, and this turned out to be the best service we’ve ever had at an Olive Garden—and honestly one of the best experiences we’ve had at any restaurant.

Our waitress, Kaela, was absolutely amazing. She was attentive, kind, and made us feel like family. On top of that, several other servers pitched in throughout our meal, bringing food, refilling drinks, and checking in on us, which made the service feel seamless.

The only hiccup was when my daughter found a small piece of foil in her food. But instead of this being a negative, the way it was handled turned it into a positive. As soon as I told Kaela, she was genuinely upset on our behalf and immediately took action. Shortly after, the manager Madison came over, apologized sincerely, and even explained what might have caused it. She comped my daughter’s meal, offered a replacement, and then surprised us with a $25 gift card for the inconvenience. When the new meal arrived, Madison personally delivered it—complete with extra grapes, which made my daughter’s night.

To top it all off, when we were packing up leftovers, Kaela overheard my daughter say she wanted the salad (even though I declined a box). Instead of just sending it as-is, she came back with a perfectly packed to-go serving with everything separated so it would stay fresh. That level of thoughtfulness goes above and beyond.

Despite the small issue with the meal, this was by far the best Olive Garden experience we’ve ever had. We will absolutely be back—and when we do, we’ll be asking for Kaela every time!“
