“This Mezeh location is my go-to spot for lunch. The staff is always friendly, the restaurant is clean, and it’s clearly well managed. The food is consistently fresh, and I especially appreciate that Mezeh is one of the few places offering a whole grain base for their bowls. The lentils are also cooked perfectly every time.“

“So I got the Pupusas de Queso con Chicharron on Rice Flour / Masa & I added Jalapeño & Beans to them! Soooo good, soft on the inside and crispy outside! The Salsa & Curtido (Slaw) was Fresh.

The only place I could get Pastelistos de Carne, cause most are lazy and only do chicken. They were sooo freaking good. Platonos could have been fried crispier and in thinner slices but most restaurants don’t do it cause of the time it takes. The Platano Empanadas (Sweet) were pretty authentic as well. No complaints really. The Pupusas were like that tho 5/5“

“Came here this morning for the spicy chicken biscuit meal, which included hashbrownd and a coffee for $7.49. The regular meal is 25 cents cheaper. Store was very clean, and we had no wait in ordering. Service was friendly, and happily gave us the extra ketchup we were seeking, always saying „my pleasure.“ Food was good and hot; the biscuit meal is always a treat when near one of these restaurants!“

“Our son lives in the area and we have been here 4-5 since January ( every time we visit) The owners are wonderful and the staff very attentive The fish taco appetizer is wonderful ( can be enough for an entree if not wanted a big meal) I’ve had many of the entrees and never a bad meal . “This place really deserves the high rating! It's a great place for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The cafe is charming, very clean, and as cheerful as the name suggests! We had a veggie breakfast burrito and a veggie omelet, both of which were delicious and full of fresh ingredients. The coffee was really good too. There are lots of options on the menu and the prices are very reasonable. The lady who runs the place (owner?) is so nice and welcoming, too. We'll definitely be back!“

“I came here during my lunch break on a weekday. All the pizza options were available and I got the buffalo chicken slice. I don't make that much $, but the pricing was totally worth it. ($6 I believe) The pictures don't do it justice, but if you like NY style thin crust with that grease drip, you'll love this. The crust had that dough bubble that I love, and you could hear the crunch echo throughout the cafeteria. I would love to see some gluten-light offerings in the future but for now? A quick bite for good quality? You won't be disappointed.“

“This place is a true local gem. Food is of very high quality, and everything is consistently cooked to perfection. Their consistency is actually really impressive - I’ve never been disappointed by a single thing, and I’ve eaten A LOT of their food. But everything is so good, so I haven’t really made my way outside of the same few items from their menu. The difference is that the staff actually care about their customers, and take pride in their food. It’s not so common these days, and is a pleasant surprise. “I've been a happy customer at the Courthouse location for 5 years. The staff are super nice and caring! The food is always delicious and prepared beautifully..recommend the falafel bowl, tofu salad, Greek yogurt items, smoothies, avocado toast, soup, and cookies. Very fresh ingredients.

Dietary restrictions: There are many healthy vegetarian options..none of the super processed mock meats are offered. Some of the side items are a huge portion too. Salads that have meat or dairy could be modified easily with vegetarian or vegan options. Vegan soup option is fantastic.“

“We went for Sunday brunch yesterday and our server was CJ. The bottomless mimosas were served in coup glasses and were plentiful (limit of 5 per person 👍🏻). I had the Huevos Rancheros which were served with breakfast potatoes and the order was big enough to share. The service was quick and thoughtful. I’d definitely recommend Drapers for Sunday brunch. The lunch and dinner menu looked interesting and I’m sure we’ll be back. A corner jewel in old towne Fairfax.“

The atmosphere and food quality are great; plus the customizable “create your own” options.Only caveat/downside is that the cost can add up really quickly with the DIY options. (My $8 Red Curry Noodles went up to $18 when I swapped tofu for Chicken and added shrimp).It still tasted really good, though. Next time I want to try one of their salads (they’re huge!!!). “The Chopt in Ballston is a gem! It’s just a block from my office, so it’s become my go-to spot for a healthy lunch. Everything is crisp, colorful, and flavorful! The dressings are delicious (Mexican Goddess is my favorite!) and portions are generous without being heavy.
The staff here are always friendly and efficient, even during the lunch rush. I usually try to sneak over a bit early before noon to beat the crowd, and it’s always a smooth experience.

Although the portions were on the smaller side, they gave us free pastries before leaving which was very kind. It's conveniently located near one of my favorite theaters, and Andy's Pizza is the perfect spot to meet up with friends before or after a screening to grab a bite to eat and a good drink (Atlas Brewery being part of the same space is a cool touch, and I've had a couple of good brewskis too). Great service, delicious pizza. I love a thin crust and getting a single slice or two served up on a classic white paper plate really hits the spot when you want some 'za. “Stumbled upon this spot and am so glad I did! After our first time here, my boyfriend and I liked it so much that we came back five days later. Not only does it have great beer and a very cool dive-bar-vibe, but it is so wonderful that literally every item on the menu can be made vegan, with a huge selection of meat alternatives and yummy vegan cheeses (there's also a create-your-own section!)
