“Came to Ometeo with my wife for dinner the other night. We got chips and queso, along with fajitas to share. Tony Gomez was our waiter and he did a wonderful job. He was very attentive to all our needs as well as constantly checking up on us. The food was pretty good, but what made the experience was the waiter. If you ever decide to come here make sure to ask for Tony as he will always make sure you’re treated like you’re his own family. “The food appears... lesser quantity than in DC. The biscuits were smaller, and harder. I saw no bacon. The sausage (pork or chicken) was not "week done" as with the DC restaurant. Also there wasn't any shrimp. I got there at 9:am, and was told reservations were needed. So I Sat at the bar. Def a 3.5 rating on food here“

“Fantastic group meal at Beth’s tonight! Staff was very welcoming and greeted our group promptly. As a larger group we wanted to try a variety of delicious items and shared them together. We ordered one of each of the Bites menu items. My favorite was the Old Bay Shrimp! 😍🍤 - dessert was delicious and cocktails well crafted. Approachable menu and eclectic environment .“

We were there for a birthday and my son's favorite is the marinated Kalbi and it typically always gets cooked last. Seeing that as my son was waiting the server said he would add a note to my reservation for the future so it gets cooked first so my son doesn't have to wait. :) The meat quality was excellent! I would say though since I been to this restaurant several times in the past, the amount of meat per the pre fixe menu definitely has decreased. In any case, excellent service and great meat quality! “Last night was my husband’s and my first time dining here, and it truly left an impression. One of the first things we loved was the restaurant’s commitment to giving back to the community. As soon as you walk in, there’s a sign explaining how meals are donated to local women’s shelters and how guests and staff can pay it forward by purchasing meals for those in need. Anyone facing a tough time can simply take a ticket from the wall for a prepaid meal such a thoughtful and meaningful concept.

Our server was absolutely phenomenal (I wish I remembered her name! -- She had long red wavy hair). She took the time to walk us through the menu, shared her personal favorites, and recommended several must-try tacos. Let me just say… she did not miss!

Every single bite was bursting with flavor. We tried the birria, Havana, Rus & Gus, and Peruvian chicken tacos, along with the street corn salad and veggies on the side and everything was incredible. From the food to the service to the heart behind the restaurant, this place checks all the boxes.
