“Food was fantastic. The service was even better. I went a few weeks ago and lost my receipt, and needed one for my business expense. I called and the gentlemen that answered the phone tracked it down for me right away. This place was top tier all around.“

“Excellent sushi restaurant! We were in Vienna and craving sushi and found this gem. We were seated right away, greeted with a smile and had a lovely evening. We started off with the edamame and miso soup and salad. We were BLOWN away with how good everything was right off the bat! The house salad had a onion sauce on the top that was so good! Best house salad I’ve ever had at a sushi restaurant. Then we both had rolls that were amazing! Joanne was our waitress and she was so kind and efficient. She even provided us with recommendations and a great description of some of the dishes I asked about. We will definitely be back next time we are in Vienna! Thank you so much!“

“This was my second time ordering pickup from bbq chicken in Tysons, after being impressed with my previous experience. This time, my order was ready a couple of minutes after I arrived at the restaurant. It was a Friday mid-afternoon, and the place was not busy at all.
However, this time the chicken was less crispy than before. Maybe they used too much sauce, but the batter was noticeably thinner than the first time, and slightly soggy. The chicken meat was cooked well, but I much preferred my first time's results.
I will give them another chance to match the crispiness of my first order.“

“Came for dessert after dinner at the plaza next door, and we got the Red Bean Bingsoo. Love that they use shaved milk, and not shaved ice 🥹 it is on the pricier end for the amount of bingsoo you get (the V-shaped bowl is slightly deceptive), but every bite was worth it.
Saw that there was a self-serve ramen bar, so I’d definitely come back here with friends next time!“

“One of a kind! Awesome selection of Korean and American snacks. The service is top notch. The atmosphere is upbeat with a lounge vibe. Highly recommend.
Only caveat is parking might be tough during peak hours. Be careful parking in Honey Pig and Rumba lots adjacent to 1943 Classic.“

“I recently visited Makchang Dodok K-BBQ, and it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. They made us feel right at home, walking us through the menu and offering helpful suggestions for first-timers. You can tell they really care about creating a great experience for their guests.
The service was fast and efficient without feeling rushed. Our server kept checking in to make sure everything was cooked to our liking and that our drinks and side dishes were always full. It’s rare to find such a friendly and professional team at a busy restaurant, and they truly stood out.
As for the food—delicious! The meats were fresh and flavorful, and the signature makchang (beef or pork intestine) was perfectly prepared with that satisfying char. If you’re a fan of authentic Korean BBQ, this place delivers both in taste and atmosphere.
Highly recommend for a casual night out, a group dinner, or anyone looking to try something new with excellent service to match. I’ll definitely be coming back!“

“Best Bul jok bal and mak guk su place in DMV area.
The interior is looking like pocha, so people might come here for just drinking. However, you guys can just come to this place for having dinner. They are mostly delicious.
A place where buljokbal and makguksu are delicious. A taste that cannot be beat even in Korea.
The interior looks like a bar, so people come here late in the evening to drink. However, considering the price, taste, and quantity, this is one of the few Korean restaurants that is worth coming to for dinner.“

“We've been to many, and this is the best Korean BBQ in the entire DMV. The food quality is so good and the service and atmosphere were above and beyond. They have extensive menu options outside of the KBBQ as well, which is something a lot of other places don't offer. The meats are quite pricy, which was the only downside, but the entree prices seemed fair. We can't wait to go back!“

“Entrees are a $17 and up but the portions are big. It's a food court so I only tipped 10% but I guess you could also not tip. Pictures show 3 entrees but we got 4. Two of them were the bolgogi beef.
If we had gone to a restaurant then it would have cost more than $120 but here it was $80. My seafood ramen was good and huge. Husband enjoyed his katsua chicken and dad & son enjoyed their bulgogi rice bowls.
The food court was empty, but clean.“

“You can’t get better soup than from a place that specializes in it. The seollongtang had plenty of noodles and meat. The galbitang had a savory broth, lots of meat — great flavor all around. The haemul pajeon was crispy and stuffed with seafood.
The standout item was the kong-guksu. Dad had been craving it as it was a favorite of his in childhood. He has tried it at other places and wasn’t impressed. Here, he finished the whole thing and would’ve licked the bowl clean.
Note: the soups are under-salted so you can customize them to your liking. The salt containers on each table have enough salt to please any saltaholic.“

“Andrew worked super hard providing superb service for our table of 8 people tonight. He hustled big time. He stayed on top of removing finished plates from our table and changing our grills to clean ones. He replenished our orders quickly and offered ice-cream at the end of our meal. He returned to our table often asking if we needed anything. Fantastic customer service!“

“I can say this is one of my personal favorite to go, especially during summer when it’s so hot outside and I am craving for something to cool down.
Owners are very friendly and always greet you with smile. It’s a self-serve restaurant in a food court, but they answer your questions in a nice manner and appreciates you dining with them.
The food is so gooood. Cold buckwheat soba is a must-try here, especially during summer. There is a bowl of sauce that you mix wasabi and minced raddish, and you put buckwheat noodles into the sauce and eats it from there. Other buckwheat noodle dish are solid as well if you want something warm or hot to heat you up.
Over the summer, I go to this restaurant at least once a month, if not more. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone who wants to eat healthy noodles with diverse flavor.“

“A lovely spot for a meal! ☺️
A tiny little building houses a cozy interior. The staff was friendly and sweet and the food came out quickly (and piping hot, which I love!!)
We got the fish cake soup, clam kalguksu, and banquet noodles. I especially recommend the banquet noodles: flavorful broth (even better with the sauce), lots of toppings, and overall very filling for cheap!“

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Incheon Nova, a modern fusion Korean cuisine restaurant, and I must say, it was an absolute delight! The flavors at Incheon Nova were simply explosive! From the moment I took my first bite, I was instantly transported to a world of culinary bliss. “You have got to ask for Jay Kim, he is the best server in the house. He was patient and ever so helpful with us as first time hot potters. I had a vegetarian hot pot, well, except for the dumplings. Although they have no vegetarian options, he worked with me and provided me with an alternate option. It would be more awesome for them to add it to their menu tho for those of us who just love veggies. The broth is vegetarian based so it makes sense to have a vegetarian option along with it. We had a party of 8 and Jay Kim made it so much fun!!! The food was absolutely delicious. Everything was so fresh. One other option that would have been great to have would be fresh ginger at the sauce bar and mushrooms on the vegetable plate. We were all pleasantly pleased with our food. The ambiance is very nice, low light but more than enough to cook and enjoy each other's company. Jay Kim made sure we always had what we needed. The sauce bar was amazing, so many choices. I recommend making a few bowls, some for the broth and and some for dipping your cooked food. If you get any type of meat, also make a sauce to marinade the meat. You don't have to but it made a good difference. Meats are thinly sliced for quick cooking and again,so fresh. The price was worth the amount of food and the experience. There is an all you can eat option or an a la carte option where you just get one meat selection and a vegetable plate which was more than enough for us as a party of young ladies. This was a great first hot pot experience and I definitely recommend it, just make sure to ask for Jay Kim. I know you will enjoy it!!!“

“One of my favorite Korean restaurants in the DMV area.
The tofu soup was absolutely delicious — rich, comforting, and full of flavor. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients, and it hits the spot every time. The side dishes were fresh and tasty, with a nice variety that complemented the meal perfectly. Their seafood pancake was delicious as well.
Fast service and a cozy atmosphere make this place an easy favorite.“

“New Tosokjib focuses on traditional Korean fare, and the food js consistently good. The menu has a decent variety of options, and a couple of the stews and scallion seafood pancake are good. For non-spicy diners, recommend the samgaetang (chicken stew) and mandoo-kook (dumpling soup).
On the downside, the restaurant is really no frills. The service leaves much to be desired and is downright cold. Good luck asking for extra napkins. You will get a death stare along with a couple of kiddie napkins.“

“Dduk Dabang in the H-Mart food court offers a variety of Korean and Asian dishes. Both the ramen and nasi goreng come in generous portions with plenty of toppings, making for a satisfying meal. However, the taste may vary depending on personal preferences. The ramen is filling and offers a rich flavor with its toppings, but some may find the noodles a bit too soft, and the cheese a bit overwhelming. As for the nasi goreng, while some enjoyed it, others felt that the rice was a bit too soggy and the seasoning could have been stronger.“

“Reliable restaurant for authentic and good Korean food. We usually get marinated galbi and mul naeng myun (cold buckwheat noodles). You know a place is good when most the clientele is Korean lol. Prices are a bit high but that seems to be the trend everywhere post pandemic.“

“Great Korean spot! The army stew came in a huge portion — easily enough for 3–4 people to share. The pork katsu was a bit on the harsh side for my taste, but still decent. It’s a solid place for late-night eats, especially for night owls, but keep in mind that although they close at 2, the kitchen shuts down a little earlier.( Been there once around 11, was told their kitchen was closed) Overall, good food and worth checking out!“
““Karaoke, great drinks, and an excellent staff make this a great night destination for someone looking to have a good time with friends. The food is also great, presenting many exotic and delicious dishes, as well as the old classics. Mad for Grill, a Korean restaurant in Annandale, VA, is a spot that will keep you coming back. The “조기구이정식“, Grilled Yellow Croaker Set) is exceptional—perfectly grilled with deep, rich flavors. The side dishes (banchan) are like little appetizers, and the Kimchi is hands down the best I’ve ever had in any restaurant—fresh, flavorful, and incredibly special. It’s a taste that’s sure to impress, especially for those new to Korean cuisine. Plus, the convenient location makes it an easy choice. If you’re after authentic Korean food, Mad for Grill is a must-visit!“

“The beef sweet and sour pork is excellent.
The meat is soft and the meat is sliced thickly so it tastes good.
Jjamppong, filled with the scent of seafood, disappears without you even knowing when it is gone.
However, people working while eating. I felt uncomfortable staring at it too much“

“This was my first time at Sorak Garden. My mom picked it out. I ordered the Kimchi Jigae, my son ordered the japchae, and my mom ordered the Dolsot Bibim bap, We shared the fried mandu (dumplings). All the food, even the side dishes (banchan) were delicious. It tasted like my Mom's home cooking. The flavors were authentically Korean. It's sad that I had to leave MD to find a really great Korean restaurant, but I'm glad my mom took me here. The service was wonderful as well. The food didn't take long to come out, and they checked on us which I really appreciated. I believe the owner even came out to talk with us. It was a really great experience. I hope more people will come here to eat. I didn't take photos this time. But I highly recommend this restaurant.“

“This place is a FIVE stars for one simple reason, the food is incredible! Prices are more so reasonable for the portions too. The soups are made of broth, not water. The fried food is always white, not dark cause the oil changed and not just topped off. I never had any problem with the staff or service cause I treat them with respect. They can make any anything more or less spicy, just need to ask. They're always sanitizing when I visit.“
