“I have been coming here for quite some time now and there has not been a time that I have eaten here and have had a BAD meal. Never has that happened. All the staff are very professional and courteous toward all clients that eat here. It is composed of a Wonderful Greek family doing what they know how to do. Prepare food in the best way they know how to. Fresh and delicious each and every time. I am getting ready to move to the Richmond area, I will miss going here a lot. The staff is the most on point of any people I have seen. Very polite, great personalities, exceedingly friendly to anyone who enters the establishment. Honestly, I will miss seeing all of you there until I return one day for a visit. May you all have a wonderful year and a beautiful Holiday Season this and every Year. Love to all and do not forget to keep making that one dish I always get when I come in. Maybe you can name it after me. HA Your friend for life. Art Schultz (save me seat #6)“

“From the moment we walked in, the vibe was warm and inviting. The scrambled eggs were fluffy, the bacon perfectly crisp, and the rosemary Parmesan home fries were bursting with flavor—crispy, golden, and unforgettable.
The hash brown cake had the perfect texture, the French toast was soft and sweet with a generous dusting of powdered sugar, and the blueberry pancakes were thick, buttery, and filled with juicy berries in every bite. The pineapple juice was a bright, refreshing highlight that tasted freshly squeezed.
Service was fast and friendly, and the atmosphere made us want to stay longer. If you’re looking for a brunch spot that delivers on flavor, presentation, and hospitality—Citrus is a must-visit.“

“Sunnyside was in walking distance to our hotel. We opted for Sunnyside rather than the expensive hotel breakfast. Sasha waited on us and was so patient with our very (very!) indecisive kiddos. She was also very attentive to our beverage refills and was very welcoming and friendly. We ordered French toast combos and waffle combos. Everything was very good and we all left with very full bellies! Cant wait to come back!“

“so a group of my friends and i wanted to check someplace out to get brunch for my birthday, and after looking for inexpensive options that weren't fast food, i suggested that our group visited chubb's. google maps still shows chubb's as ray ray's at the mayflower when you look at the establishment on street view, but it has since been renamed to chubbs. we were a little confused because of this and i even almost thought the establishments were two different places - but they're not.
i called in ahead of time to ask if they had space for 8 of us to sit in, and the person who responded over the phone - teri - was very kind.
for a party of our size, the food was inexpensive - usually, whenever i foot the bill when we eat out in a non-fastfood place, i expect food to cost $200-300. but the food cost here was inexpensive, delicious, and filling - i only spent a little over a hundred twenty dollars. the item names were also hilarious, my friends were cracking up over ordering a quickie (lol).
i would say that we were a little disappointed to find that there were not many filipino delicacies like ray ray's had since the only thing on the menu that was vaguely filipino was lechon, but it was alright for us because we were just looking for a place to eat. if you want to go somewhere for filipino food in VB, i recommend going to felynn's, lumpia & co., or susan's kitchenette instead (and that's coming from a filipino person).
now that being said, the true highlight of our visit was the SERVICE. without staff's help our brunch visit here would have been a complete pain. we sat out front. when i went inside to pay my group's bill (using apple pay, because I didn't have my card on me), an older man came to my group to strike conversation. he seemed drunk, was making them uncomfortable, and because we're literally teenagers we just kind of stood there and tried to make do with what we could and expected this adult man to go away. when i got back to my group, he had already been with them for several minutes and was starting to get aggressive with one of my friends. i ushered two of my other friends, who were not interacting with him, to come ask for help. we got teri to come deal with him, but the situation escalated when we all went into the women's restroom and this man was trying to come in. he heard us talking about him while one of my friends was trying to use the toilet. luckily enough, teri came over and we heard her deescalate the situation outside the restroom. she was so stern and got him to leave the establishment and stop harassing us. yall better give that lady a RAISE. 😭😭 she even let us stay after closing to finish up our food after that fiasco.
we'll definitely revisit in the future to get a better experience from chubb's.“

“This restaurant had a wonderful breakfast buffet, everything was delicious. The staff was very attentive and even brought me a Diet Coke from the other restaurant on the premises. Located in the Holiday Inn.

“I haven't been to this location before, the table service was great but I think the food was just ok not really hot it was barely warm enough to melt the butter & they don't know how to cook my eggs over medium they were over cooked.“

“Not a bad place, the food was decent and the servers were friendly. I have been there many times over the years. And seem to remember a buffet. Could be the Mandela effect.
But now comes some minor issues that management should address:
Holiday weekend- Please put extra staff on so the server doesn't have to guess if you have been helped. 15 minutes of waiting is a little bit excessive for that size. I did count 2 servers and 1 busboy, and there appeared to be 2 cooks. And about 3/4 full. I still had to wait for almost 30 min to get food. Not sure of the issue but it did seem they seemed overwhelmed. Also, there seemed to be only one coffee machine working. Would have been faster with a single-cup machine.
I have 30 years of experience in the restaurant business with half of that in management. Forecasting is very essential to staffing.
I do recommend this place as a must, the food was still enjoyable, and the portions were good. I'll be back at my next visit. Ohh bring back the buffet, unless there wasn't one, in that case you should start one.“

“Just left the Pembroke IHOP and the staff and service was great. My server was Luckee and he is always so polite. The manager Christina is super friendly and always comes by to check on us when we visit. Me and my friends always love her smile and nails! My steak tips and eggs were cooked perfectly. Will continue to come in when I'm in the area. Awesome staff!!“

“We love the delicious food and the friendly service. They have an outside patio and they welcome your dogs. It’s like a big family that works well together. This is Ruth and Lucy enjoying scrambled eggs for breakfast and smiling because it was so good.“
