“I got the Turkey Special on Rye and it was just… okay? Reading the other reviews makes me wish I had checked them out for recommendations before placing my order, but I had high hopes based on the review average and pricing and was just a bit disappointed.

The shop itself was quite dull in atmosphere, and while I don’t expect every staff member to act like they work for disney, I did feel like I was inconveniencing them just by being there. I don’t know; I’ve lived in lots of places with local delis, and this one just didn’t hit the mark. I’d be willing to come back and try a more highly-recommended choice though!“

“Ok so just ordered the Turkey on Gluten Free Multigrain and man this is the best gluten free sandwich in the area hands down. The proportions are perfect, flavours blend well, and the bread tastes great + doesn’t fall apart and is not dry. 10/10 would definitely order again to try their GF sub roll!

Edit: Tried the Capicola with GF sub roll and yeah this is my new sandwich spot now.

“I came out of the metro stop on the way to work and saw this little unsuspecting shop. I decided later that day to go to lunch with my coworkers and suggested this place. There were quite a lot of people in line for these sandwiches, which was a very good sign already.
Reasonably priced and the KBBQ sub is STUFFED with saucy, slightly spicy meat and yummy pickled veggies. The turkey melt is also a popular favorite and my coworker liked it. It made me full for the whole day. I really want to try their bowls next time!“

Super legit sandwich shop located inside some kind of mixed offices building, very close to the metro. From cold sandwiches to wraps to the hot stuff, these guys really know whats up. Very kind and efficient staff without too many frills. Skip that Potbelly down the street, this is the best sandwich spot you'll find south of the Potomac.“

“I was new to the area and just finished a job and was extremely hungry. After scrolling around I found a place that had some food I recognized. Little did I know it would be one of the best plates I’ve had EVER! I had the chicken wings with O.G. Hot Sauce. OMG!!! The crispy breading. The flavor. The tender meat. I couldn’t stop licking my fingers. The waffle fries were well seasoned and fresh. I enjoyed myself thoroughly. “Good food but service could use improvement, mainly service times and workers not acknowledging customers. I get they have work to do but standing at the counter for minutes and minutes to answer a simple question is rather annoying.

After placing an order in person, some huge annoying woman waddles up and asks all these questions about ordering and whatnot. An employee goes over and curates her experience. Somehow then she walks out with her two bags while I'm still waiting for two steaks and some wings.

I have ordered online and picked up before with no incident. Will probably update this review over time.“

“The veggie patty sandwiches are always at this location and it always makes my sandwich more filling. I love the topping selection they have and it was the Safeway I grew up with in my old neighborhood, I will always order from this location.

Vegetarian options: The veggie patty is a game changer for vegetarians such as myself. I noticed a large difference in how much faster I got hungrier eating a sandwich without the veggie patty compared to when it was present. Plus it’s freaking delicious“

Everyone that was behind the line was friendly and working diligently to help customers as a line began forming when I was midway through ordering. My attendant, Andre, went above and beyond to offer the best customer service at a fast pace, all whilst encouraging his fellow workers! The ONLY complaint I have is that it was really hot in the store, I wanted to rag in but the heat forced me to eat in the car instead. I hope they get that fixed soon.
