“We were out taken drive to look at fall foliage. We googled drinks in the area and Petals Wine Bar pops up, so we had to check it out. My husband and I had a great first experience. Atmosphere and service is amazing. They offer any from light fare, drinks for him and her, and gift and flowers shop. We also got an added treat because they had music on that day. We live about two hours away but I definitely plan on coming back with friends and family often. I absolutely loved my Cider Sangria they had on special that day.“
“Best diner experience we've had. Everything was exceptional. We had breakfast with the most delicious biscuits EVER! If we ever find ourselves passing through Wytheville again, we will definitely pay another visit to Grayson Restaurant. Delightful, yummy experience!“
“My Wife and I dined here on our way down south and loved the restaurant. The architecture and overall ambiance is really lovely with many cute little nooks and crannies to be found in the various rooms of this rambling "cottage". The antiques store in the back is very interesting and the bar looks especially inviting. Our server, Missy, took great care of us and we really enjoyed our meal and experience. We'll be back!!!“
“Stopped in for a delicious breakfast while my windows were being tinted up the road at Houseman's. The food was very tasty, coffee was topped off and warm without asking for it, the little old lady who runs the place keeps a tidy shop. Good portions and reasonable prices. Would have had no idea it was a restaurant without being told about it. Maybe I missed the sign if there was one outside.“
“Over the years I have ate a waffle House numerous times I've always had a good experience and I also like how waffle house is always seems to be willing to give employees second chances people who may not be able to get a job somewhere else or able to be employed at waffle House everyone needs a job and everyone deserves a second chance I greatly appreciate thank you.“
“We used to go to Cracker Barrel all the time. It was our "go to" stop when we traveled. So when we decided to stop, I was a little bit excited. But the food did not live up to my memories. It could be that my memories are just biased. But we were there at lunch and it was busy, so I would not have expected things to be stale or drier than expected. I got the meat loaf, whole corn and mashed potatoes.We will stop again to give it another try, but I was kind of disappointed about this stop.“
“Great good! I got the Bacon Chicken Wrap and was really blown away by the flavor and the textures. This might be a "free" Cafe but that doesn't mean the food is substandard. The bacon was crispy, Chicken was juicy, lettuce was fresh, and the tortilla warm. My fries were crispy (I asked for them that way). And the squash casserole was the star of the show. I wish I would have bought a meal of just that. It was fire.“
“Stopped here after hearing how great the dogs are. They have been closed a while for remodel and updates. First time visit for me. Skeeter dogs are the red dogs. They do have all beef too. I opted for the red ones. Added slaw no onion. Really good dog. Will return. Service was great too. Make a stop if you can.“
“Stopped by at this Captain Ds Restaurant yesterday and the food was great! Food was fresh and hot. Staff is friendly. The girl with the red hair in drive-thru is so sweet and such a hard worker 10/10 Definitely will be returning to the Wytheville Captain D's“
“This restaurant situated inside a lovely, restored hotel is very elegant. It was thoughtfully decorated and has a nice atmosphere. We didn't have a reservation but was seated within 30 mins. (That was fine with me.) The menu was a bit limited but that is appropriate considering it was all homemade dishes with fresh ingredients. Jade, our server, was very kind and friendly. My husband ordered the fried chicken and that was good. My son ordered the steak that was good as well. I ordered the shrimp and grits and that was seasoned a bit too much. Jade brought out our food in a timely manner but then didn't come back to check on us for a very long time. I ran out of water because the shrimp was too spicy. She came back about 20-30 mins later. She did comp my dinner with a free dessert. I was hoping the manager would pop over while we were eating our entrees but he did not.Overall, a good experience and I would recommend it, just not the shrimp n grits.“
“We stumbled on Mami’s almost by accident traveling through. We didn’t want to eat at the Travel food court and gas station. Mami’s was right next door so we tried it and really enjoyed it. I wish we lived nearby so we could enjoy it more. Empanadas were excellent ent and the price was reasonable.“
