“10 Stars! Our first time there and won’t be the last. The waitress was great! First came the hush puppies and they were fantastic. I love oysters and was not disappointed. Great service and the owner came by to make sure everything was ok. We loved the personal touch.“

“We had the good fortune of visiting Ruby Tuesday’s in Wytheville, Virginia, our second time there! What an amazing experience! We were greeted at the front by the sweetest and nicest young lady, Jacqueline and from there it just kept getting better! Jacqueline was concerned about my allergies and provided us with the perfect spot to keep me safe! Then we got to meet Crystal, the server God that was super kind, very concerned about keeping me safe, diligent in every way possible and did I mention she was also amazing!! During our meal the manager Alisa (I think that’s how it was spelled) came over to welcome us! She was a blast, she made us feel at home! This is one of the best restaurant experiences I have had in a very long time and we do go to a lot of restaurants but the service, the atmosphere and most of all the genuine heart in all of the staff was incredible! Kudos for doing such an awesome job hiring the best people! Thank you to Jacqueline, Crystal and Alisa for an incredible end to a very long day! If you ever come to Canada, look us up!“

“10/10! From the Smashburger (particularly on Texas toast- YUM!) to the crinkle cut french fries. This diner offers that “retro 50’s” feeling from the moment you waltz through its doors. It has quickly became my favorite place within Wytheville to grab lunch or dinner. Be sure to check out the dessert making POV by “Frozen In Time,”while you wait for your food to be freshly prepared. What’s even better? It is conveniently located within the diner! Burger? Fries? And chocolate lava cake to boot? Yes, please.“

“After a long day of driving we finally got to sit down at Applebees and enjoyed a delicious dinner while passing through Wytheville VA. Alison our server was very prompt and attentive. We noticed it was a clean and inviting atmosphere. The music was good too!

“Sunday, May 3rd, 6:30ish? The nice woman (I should have gotten her name) working behind the counter did a wonderful job in every way possible. As it should be in the food service industry. From the moment a customer walks through the door, to the time they are done with their meal and exit the restaurant. We felt cared about and valued. She checked on us a couple different times while we were enjoying our meals, seeing if we needed anything and offering a genuine smile. I also could not help but notice how she kept herself busy while there were no other customers to serve by cleaning the lobby, and doing it happily. She is a perfect example of what an employee should be like. Thank you for the positive experience. Great hospitality and delicious food that is very much appreciated after driving several hours making our way home to Michigan from South Carolina and Nashville before that. Big trip. “The crew manager, Heather Parker, was outstanding in helping me and other customers today. I even asked for her name so I could write a positive review for her. It was busy but she managed to keep calm and get each order in a timely manner. One employee was obviously frustrated but she relieved him of his duties and took over to allow him time to rest. That type of leadership is definitely hard to find in any job and it was refreshing to see it still exists! I do not visit Wytheville often but will make a point to stop in Wendy’s when I am traveling through!“

“So I am really critical of service because I'm a server myself. When I called to place an order this morning a young lady named Cherish answered the phone. She was so professional yet personable and friendly that I immediately felt good with her just taking my order. When I arrived to pick it up I was met with a beautiful young lady a smiling face and I was greeted immediately and when she asked me how my day was I felt like she genuinely cared. I don't meet many people that I will actually stop and leave a review for. Most people that you encounter today in hospitality are there for a paycheck and don't care one way or another about their guests or the restaurant as a whole. This young lady seem to understand that repeat customers means job security means good things for the restaurant she seemed to understand that if the restaurant succeeds then she will succeed because her customers will ensure that by the way she treats them. I asked her was she a supervisor manager or a server and she said that she was just a server and I asked to speak to her manager but she said that she was there by herself on Mondays. Let me tell you something this young lady if you guys don't put her as a manager or a supervisor you're totally missing out. I'm 45 years old and I have worked as a bartender a bar manager a server and a server supervisor for the better part of 30 years now. Despite having a college degree this is what I choose to do because it's what I love it's what I'm passionate about and it affords me a decent living. I can tell that this young lady looks at things the way I do you can tell by the way she treats people by the way she was smile and speak to the people that were walking past the restaurant almost inviting them in even though she knew that they were just walking past like stuff like that makes you want to come back stuff like that sticks out in your mind. When I'm passing through Wytheville and I'm thinking about where am I going to eat I'm going to see that young lady's smiling face and I'm going to hear the genuine enthusiasm in her voice for being there to hook up my breakfast.

When I'm in Wytheville I'm going through it anyway because I have to travel here to see my veterinarian and my cat has a chronic condition that has cost me in excess of $25,000 this year alone. I'm watching her suffer and it breaks my heart. I stop here to get myself and my 76-year-old veterinarian breakfast burrito wraps in the morning on my way. Having someone like that that you encounter makes a trip a little less painful and whenever I stop and say where am I going to go for breakfast this morning when I'm in Wytheville I'm going to see her smile and hear that enthusiasm and think okay no question iHop it is.

“VERY slow via drive- thru. Employees messing with eachother around instead of getting order ready, handing off drink, etc. We are traveling but noted we will not come back to Wytheville because of lack of food options. Carnival was in town, seems like hotel prices were elevated. Had i known, would have continued on toward home.“
