“We ate there April 4th 2025 and the food was amazing! I had the Cowboy BBQ Brisket Sandwich it was super tender and juicy and falling apart. My husband had the Cheesiest Burger, which as the name suggests is quite cheesy. Battered fried were crispy and flavorful. However the Mac and cheese did not live up to my husbands standards. I would still definitely recommend this place. It was absolutely delicious!!!“

“So my husband and I went out to eat and we had Scott as our server and he was by far one of the most amazing servers that both myself and my husband have ever experienced! He was extremely kind, fast, attentive, knowledgeable and the list just goes on with this guy! Texas Roadhouse y'all definitely need to make sure you do what you can to keep him around because he is definitely your money maker! The only really negative thing I can say about Texas Roadhouse is the food and the temps and mostly just about the kitchen and cooks, you guys need all new cooks! We totally understand that if the kitchen messes up it is by no means the service fault of course but y'all really need to get new cooks or train them properly other than that we had a great great dinner thanks to Scott's amazing service!!!!“

“I have been to Scoot's several times and have always had great food there and great service. But I am leaving this review because they saved the day for my family last weekend. We were having my brother's Celebration of Life ceremony and had bought 50lbs worth of pulled pork from Sam's club the day before which turned out to be mostly unusable. With such short notice we were told by other restaurants that there was nothing they can do. Scoot's was able to get us what we needed that same day and saved our celebration. It was delicious and everyone that was there( about 200 or more people) was complementing on how good it was. Moral of the story, buy local, especially Scoot's BBQ.“

“This was a pretty decent place, nice décor and setup. I got the Trapper’s signature smoked chicken for $23 which is a ½ BBQ chicken with fries and a roll. The chicken was good, would have liked just a little bit more fries for the price. I also got a side salad for $8. The food was good. Seating was decent as well.“

“Went in last night (11/5/20), greeted by the togo person or host right away. Ashley was our waitress and she was AMAZING! Hands down the best. Had my usual plain hamburger with veggies - amazing and on point. Kiddos had chicken fingers and fries and while you are probably thinking you can't screw that up well ya can. They have the better chicken nuggets in the area (kids tested). Of course you can't forget about the donuts - amazing and always on point! Again - our waitress was amazing - she had a large table, our table, and another but still managed to keep up with everything.“

And was mostly ignored. I'm a regular customer at this newport news store but not usually by myself...itll be a while before I go again.“
