“Asahi is a standout! The variety of Japanese and Chinese dishes makes every visit fun — sushi rolls are fresh and flavorful, and the portions are generous. The all-you-can-eat deals are a steal, especially for sushi lovers. The service is always friendly and attentive, and the ambiance is comfortable, clean, with a relaxed feel. It’s one of the best casual spots in Yorktown for mixed Asian cuisine — highly recommend!“

“I've been eating here for years, and I've yet to be disappointed. Admittedly, I usually get the same thing over and over because I really, really like the roast pork chow mei fun. My husband usually gets something spicier, like garlic beef or Szechuan chicken. Everything is always super fresh and piping hot. Portions are generous enough for me to get three meals from each dish. The pot stickers are swoon-worthy, their dipping sauce divine. Service is always friendly and super quick, and they good-naturedly let me say my very few words in Mandarin (hello & thank you). My go-to, dependable favorite for Chinese food.“

“Yall, this place was DEAD at 530 on a Saturday and that’s a shame. You’re sleeping on an amazing restaurant. The food selection is far better than most chain hot pots, served very fast, and all great quality. We got a few apps in the AYCE and they were cooked fresh and tasty. The seafood selection is insane for $32 - crawfish, scallops, shrimp, crab… 😍 We ordered several rounds of items between the four of us. Never waited more than 2-3 minutes for food. Broth had amazing flavor too. And - as a mushroom lover - it was great to see more than just shiitake mushrooms. The cold bar is not intense, but it doesn’t need to be. All of your common sauce ingredients are here, along with various utensils. Honestly, this is a whole in a wall that you need to find before it’s too popular to get in.“

“In these post-covid times of it being virtually impossible to eat out for less than $15 First Wok is an exception to the seemingly new rule. The lunch and dinner combos gotta be one of the best bang-for-your-bucks in the area. You’re telling me I can get a beef and broccoli, pork fried rice, and an egg roll for $10.25 (dinner combo)???? Boneless spare ribs, vegetable fried rice, and wonton soup for $8.25 (lunch combo)??? That’s insane value.
Additionally, who would have thought that a Chinese restaurant would become my go to chicken wing spot? Wings have become exorbitantly expensive everywhere but again, First Wok remains the exception. Their garlic sauce wings are SO GOOD. I spooned the leftover sauce into my gullet like an animal. Don’t get started on the chicken wing combos either… 8 wings + chicken fried rice for $10.55 is a steal.“

“Plenty of fresh and tasty food to enjoy on the grill or in the hot pot. The servers kept up with all the people’s orders and kept the food coming. Definitely recommend“

“I love this spot! The staff is friendly and the food is good and affordable. The portion size is amazing and the service is prompt. My favorite item on the menu (so far) is the pepper steak with onions. It’s loaded with a lot of vegetables and the steak is well seasoned as well as cooked. It’s soooo savory and perfect for cold days. The entree comes with a side of rice (steamed or fried). I also recommend the chicken and broccoli. There’s a dining area available and you can do carry out. The building is definitely tucked away back yonder but trust me…..if you’re in the area, stop by and see what they have to offer. So far, everything I’ve purchased from this restaurant is pretty good. I have no complaints. You will not be disappointed!“
“By far the best Chinese food in Poquoson. This is your typical no frills Chinese restaurant, not really a place to sit down but great for some reasonably priced takeout. I'm pretty set in my menu selections, so I recommend the fried rice and lo mein. I especially love the chicken fried rice, it's just fantastic. Overall, a good joint with good flavor and value.“

“This is my go to Chinese place. I’ve been coming here for about seven years and in those seven years I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad experience. The staff is extremely friendly, the food is excellent, and if I’m being honest I can’t eat at other Chinese places because I’m always comparing it to here.
Whatever you typically get a Chinese place you’ll find here. Which is by no means a knock against them, the food is fantastic!
I will give a heads up that there is no dining area inside but eating some Chinese food on the sidewalk with some friends is a peak experience.“

“Believe the hype!I don’t write reviews unless the food quality is actually great. This is the freshest Chinese food I’ve had in this area, it’s exactly the nostalgic kind of Chinese food I’ve been craving and can’t find anywhere else. The serving size was perfect for the price. With the inflation you can’t expect to feed a family of four with $20 so it’s unrealistic for people to ask of that. However if it’s an occasional treat this is perfect! The location is great, and the building is what you’d expect out of a traditional take out place. People are rude with their reviews because they expect something this place isn’t.The egg rolls that everyone loves to complain about in the reviews are actually a very specific type of egg roll that their uncultured behind probably aren’t aware of.“

“I’ve been eating from here since my childhood in the early 2000s and the quality has NEVER wavered. The food is fresh, the crab rangoons are unmatched, and the portions are fantastic. I live in another state now, but Hong Kong is a required takeout stop every time I come home.“

“I was reading the menu with the love of my life tonight, and an employee came to greet us. We instantly came in and saw a clean, friendly atmosphere. We ordered orange chicken and shrimp lo mein. Absolutely delicious. What a gem here. Praying for success of this business and everyone who keeps it running <3“

“This is sort of a weird review. Because as much as the store needs the reviews the consumers do too. I’d placed an order that I really wanted and would normally rate them 5⭐️. They are as the reviews show one of these few dynamite spots in the area. Food is always fresh. Service is warm. And it never takes forever. And rare do you have recheck your food. But tonite my intuition said open it and move the rice. And well pork in the rice and rolls though a note no pork due to allergies. Sort of sucks because their food is that good. But the thing is even a store has to slow it down to ensure quality not quantity and food is done by the order not by the menu to ensure each customer has what it needs. And we have to stop to make sure in deliveries or pick up that we have what we need. Might even call ahead just to make sure they remembered your requests. Though it didn’t
Work for me today I am sure it’ll work for someone else.“
