Variety of menu options and the resultant food are wonderful and we enjoyed each meal we had there on our recent trip; as we always do. “The whole family enjoyed an excellent meal tonight start to finish. Service was friendly and quick. The setting was beautiful. Salads were fresh and flavorful. Had the kalette appetizer which the whole table enjoyed. Entrees were fantastic! I had the rib eye. One son had the steak au poivre; another had haddock with heirloom tomatoes, and my husband had the pork chops. We all agreed it was a perfect meal. We ended the meal with wonderful desserts - maple creme brulee, marscapone cheesecake, banana bread pudding, and ice cream with a praline topping. Just the right size and sweetness to finish this wonderful meal. We hope to be back soon.“

“I lived just up the road from 3 Squares for a few years. I went in for iced coffee nearly every day. No matter how busy it was, I was always greeted with a smile and felt like I was part of the 3 Squares family! Everyone was kind, the food was consistently great, and I can’t recommend this place enough! Miss yall, anytime I’m in town I’ll be back!!“

“I'm basing my stars on Ice Cream only. They have amazing maple soft serve using real maple syrup & if maple isn't your thing, their other soft serve flavors are just as amazingly creamy. And on top of good ice cream it's also cheap. That's called a win win folks.“

“The hostess seems a little stressed and had a big to do based around whether or not people had made reservations before showing up. Saw a guy walk out on her because he didn't want to deal with her parade. Experienced hostesses would know before a guest showed what the availability is, the place had many empty tables. Outside of that the food was awesome. The poached eggs on the Benedict were a little over cooked, but it still tasted good. My $16 dollar slices of toast were very very small and my daughters pancakes were large enough to feed two people. Over $70 on breakfast for 3, I'd expect a bit more out of the place. The waitress was nice but wasn't on top of our table like I'd expect. Overall I was sitting in a spot where the air conditioner was blowing right on me and I had to wear my jacket all through breakfast. The food tasted good enough for us to want visit again, hopefully this visit was just a spoof and the next one will be better.“

“Food is a little boring. Offerings and preparation are just too plain, simple. Since food is the most important thing to me for eating out, the overall rating was therefore effected. The service, people could not be better. On the other hand, this is a place for people whose prime reason to be there is to have a bite after playing a round or two of golf. And, in that way, the menu certainly serves the purpose. I would like to see it move into a primary restaurant attraction....s.“

“Quaint and comfortable, small town eatery with super professional and friendly staff and delicious, although limited, menu. Doesn't matter though...the ambiance and quality totally make up for it. The plate presentation is culinary grade and the flavors are devine but a little pricey for the portions, but all is forgiven for the tough times and raising costs in Vermont. My steak was a poor cut, seeming some porter or strip and quite slot of gristle, but prepared as I asked.“

“I cannot thank Paris and the team enough for all the help with a surprise birthday party. There was 20 of us and they made it look easy. The food came out tasting perfect and within great timing. “I was pleasantly surprised that this spot is vegan friendly! My fiance and I split the create-your-own flatbread with dairy-free cheese, sauce, peppers, and sundried tomatoes. I also ordered caramelized onions on it, but didn’t see or taste them. Still, the flatbread was delicious with light, crispy crust.

For beverages, I got a maple lemonade. It was tasty, but didn’t really taste different than regular lemonade. My fiance got a root beer that he enjoyed.

You order at the counter and then they bring the food out to you. Overall, a really solid lunch experience! I also loved the food-themed artwork all around the restaurant, including outside and even in the bathrooms.“

“I cannot say enough good about this place ! We went here 3 times this summer after the 3 pm Sunday plays at the Depot Theater and they Did. Not. Disappoint !
I had the Steak Frites twice and both times they got medium rare RIGHT Both times ! My 3rd meal was the Salmon. My partner in crime and I both ordered the salmon, his piece was thinner and cooked correctly. I had a large piece that was thick .. and not cooked. They graciously took it back and brought a new meal. It was crispy on the edges .. yum and worth the wait for the 2nd try. Fantastic ! Both the waitress and the woman in charge ( ? Owner ? ) checked on the status of the replacement dinner. Excellent service !
The views are spectacular ! Even on a rainy Sunday ( the sun eventually peeked out from the clouds ).. imagine the full view is cloudy and it had rained a half hour before. The sun lit up sections at a time .. spectacular !
☆☆ Only con is No substitutions. I was able to ask that the tomatoes be skipped with my Salmon meal and they will do that.
