“We made reservations for our large group ahead of time and they were very accommodating. The service was fantastic, keeping our drinks full and making recommendations from the menu. The food was all delicious, and everyone enjoyed their meal. About half of our group hadn’t had Indian food before but they all left as fans! The waiter was able to easily guide the vegan in our group to a variety options for him. We all enjoyed tea and a sweet at the end. We are so glad to have found this restaurant and will definitely be back!”

“I had been a customer of Salt & Bubbles as well as club member for awhile now and alway loved them. When I saw they did weddings I had to have them as our bar service and boy did they deliver! From the day we booked them Kayla was so helpful. She made sure she kept our budget in mind when we had our tasting as well as our individual tastes while also directing us to choose options away from our own taste to ensure all our guests has something they enjoyed. Not only did they provide superb service they also helped out clearing plates which I found out after the wedding and was well out of their scope of why we hired them.”

“Stepping out from behind the bar, Zach filled his role as our Server to perfection. Friendly, informed, attentive and polite, our first dinning experience at Bramble was fantastic! Friends had recommended we add Bramble to our list of options and we're so glad we did. Food was excellent, wine and spirits offered interesting options... Pistols and Pesos was killer! We'll definitely be back. Thanks Zach and the whole team at Bramble for a nice dining experience....something we need more of in the area”

“Honestly walking in the atmosphere was welcoming, warm and inviting. The staff however not so much. My drink of choice is an iced mocha, unfortunately many coffee shops/bars make them differently so whenever I go some place new I always ask what's I the ice mocha. The guy was kinda snotty to me saying it's the same as a latte but with mocha. I asked what's I your lattes? I also asked how many shots of expresso? The other woman working gave me very soar looks. I'm not new to coffee, I was new to this place and while it would make since that all mochas are made with 2 shots of expresso some chocolate which is also different at a lot of locations and milk. So I wasn't overall impressed with the service and for me that's a big part of the coffee scene. Overall the mocha itself wasn't the best, but it wasn't the worst either.”

“Great little sub shop with old mayberry vibe. Would recommend using the Italian sub bread for their great meatballs sub. Wheat served with it was not quite right. Still a great little gem.”

“This is a great restaurant and I hope to delete this post one day but I’ve had some inconsistent food from here. I think there might be two chefs. I always order the same thing lamb tikka masala, butter chicken and aloo naan.
I get it sometimes and it’s amazing. And then I get it other times and it tastes like it’s watered down or not the same recipe. Sometimes the bread is thicker and sometimes it’s like a pancake.
I’m just a little frustrated because this is my go to Indian spot and I’m looking for it to always be as good as I know it can be 😊”

“We love the Essex and come here every time we travel to VT. The staff are responsive and friendly, the rooms are clean, cozy, and comfy. The one warning we would give is to say that the price that you book for is nowhere near what you get charged for at checkout. There are extra add on charges on the bill that “tax” your imagination. Just be sure to ask up front.”

“We placed a large order for Doordash delivery this evening. Our group wanted to try a bit of many dishes to satisfy vegetarians, meat eaters, spicy food lovers, bland food lovers and gluten free folks! We ordered over a dozen different dishes and everything was delicious! Some favorites were the vegetable pakora, momos, malai kofta, cauliflower 65 and the chicken tikka masala. The saag paneer was wonderful but we wish it had a bit more cheese. This was our first time trying this location and we’ll be back!”

“The Nest has become my favorite place to get a maple latte so far in Vermont. Not only is it the most reasonably priced, but the best tasting coffee I’ve found as well. The pastries we’ve tried there have been good. Wish they had full breakfast sandwiches too!”

“I’m a frequent flyer at this bagel shop! The FOH Gals are kind and very hardworking! The BOH team make incredible bagels. There is always a line which indicates a fabulous product, but service is so fantastic, I’m in and out in no time. The only thing that could be improved upon is perhaps a designated place to wait for bagels. It can be a bit awkward and uncomfortable to tower over folks while they enjoy their food.

Essentially no notes! They’re even opening up a location in Williston! I love to see excellence expand!”

“Best traditional Thai food! We love Thai food and have been to numerous Thai restaurants locally in Vermont/Essex Junction and in other parts of the country. Sukho Thai is the best and most authentic!! Highly recommend!”

Be careful online ordering. It assumes you want tuna unless you unselect it. Picking a different protein does not remove the tuna.”

“Today was mine and my husband’s first time trying a bagel and we must say that it was the best bagel we have ever had. So soft and a light crunch. Not tough at all. They are very generous with the cream cheese and it is so delicious!! We will definitely be going back. Also the staff are very friendly and fast!!!”

“China Garden is our go-to place for Chinese food. Ordering through their website is easy, the food is ready quickly and it all tastes amazing! Parking is convenient, either in front of the store or in the parking lot off the side road, and payment is made through the window at the front- after paying they slide your bag through. The prices just increased (honestly, I thought they would raise them years ago), but are still very reasonable considering the large portions.
We usually get the sweet & sour chicken, crab rangoon, and the special with choice of rice and two sides (steak teriyaki and an eggroll with fried rice.) Delicious every single time!”

“My family has been coming here for years. Both my girls worked here and we have always appreciated the level of consistency that Mimmo's food offers. Always fresh, hot and delicious entrees and salads. Most recently I have been sitting at the bar while I wait for my take out order and have had the lovely privilege of being waited on by Simone's partner. She is a fireball with the best customer service skills I have encountered in Vermont or anywhere! Everything she does is to make the customer feel attended to and she does it with the most energetic and positive effort! Mimmo's never disappoints!”

I asked why we are being charged full price she responded, "You lucky we open" No! you're lucky I paid the bogus bill of 52.00 for lunch for 2. Oh, they now add on 18% gratuity automatically, you have no say about it.”

I learned my new favorite drink from a recommendation in the drive thru window Pro tip: Customize your drink to bring your personal cup and every 8th drink is free (approximately). Is it worth it? Don't know, but it's a delightful treat and fun.”
