“We made reservations for our large group ahead of time and they were very accommodating. The service was fantastic, keeping our drinks full and making recommendations from the menu. The food was all delicious, and everyone enjoyed their meal. About half of our group hadn’t had Indian food before but they all left as fans! The waiter was able to easily guide the vegan in our group to a variety options for him. We all enjoyed tea and a sweet at the end. We are so glad to have found this restaurant and will definitely be back!”

“Stepping out from behind the bar, Zach filled his role as our Server to perfection. Friendly, informed, attentive and polite, our first dinning experience at Bramble was fantastic! Friends had recommended we add Bramble to our list of options and we're so glad we did. Food was excellent, wine and spirits offered interesting options... Pistols and Pesos was killer! We'll definitely be back. Thanks Zach and the whole team at Bramble for a nice dining experience....something we need more of in the area”

“This is a great restaurant and I hope to delete this post one day but I’ve had some inconsistent food from here. I think there might be two chefs. I always order the same thing lamb tikka masala, butter chicken and aloo naan.
I get it sometimes and it’s amazing. And then I get it other times and it tastes like it’s watered down or not the same recipe. Sometimes the bread is thicker and sometimes it’s like a pancake.
I’m just a little frustrated because this is my go to Indian spot and I’m looking for it to always be as good as I know it can be 😊”

“My menfolk and I stopped at Mexi-Cuban Cravings on our last Vermont adventure to refuel and replenish our waning strength. What a treat! The portions were more than generous, the flavor was exceptional, and the folks running the stand couldn't have been nicer. I had the California Burrito and the fries were an incredible addition. We all but inhaled our burritos! 10/10 - would highly recommend.”

“Martone’s is a MUST every time I visit Vermont. Their sandwiches are massive. You can customize your own or order one of their YUM options. Staff is super friendly and service is very quick. The indoor seating area is such a vibe and so cozy. I LOVE Martones!”

“We placed a large order for Doordash delivery this evening. Our group wanted to try a bit of many dishes to satisfy vegetarians, meat eaters, spicy food lovers, bland food lovers and gluten free folks! We ordered over a dozen different dishes and everything was delicious! Some favorites were the vegetable pakora, momos, malai kofta, cauliflower 65 and the chicken tikka masala. The saag paneer was wonderful but we wish it had a bit more cheese. This was our first time trying this location and we’ll be back!”

“The lack of changing tables in the restrooms is unacceptable. Parents shouldn’t have to choose between taking kids outside or putting them on the floor of a diaper change is needed.”

Be careful online ordering. It assumes you want tuna unless you unselect it. Picking a different protein does not remove the tuna.”

“We love the Essex and come here every time we travel to VT. The staff are responsive and friendly, the rooms are clean, cozy, and comfy. The one warning we would give is to say that the price that you book for is nowhere near what you get charged for at checkout. There are extra add on charges on the bill that “tax” your imagination. Just be sure to ask up front.”

“My family has been coming here for years. Both my girls worked here and we have always appreciated the level of consistency that Mimmo's food offers. Always fresh, hot and delicious entrees and salads. Most recently I have been sitting at the bar while I wait for my take out order and have had the lovely privilege of being waited on by Simone's partner. She is a fireball with the best customer service skills I have encountered in Vermont or anywhere! Everything she does is to make the customer feel attended to and she does it with the most energetic and positive effort! Mimmo's never disappoints!”

“Food was horrible, 6 empty bins. When we complained they said they were getting ready to close because of weather so they stopped cooking. I asked why we are being charged full price she responded, "You lucky we open" No! you're lucky I paid the bogus bill of 52.00 for lunch for 2. Oh, they now add on 18% gratuity automatically, you have no say about it.”

“Mom and pop shop. Counter service only. A solid creemee but I always come back for the clam chowder and fried haddock roll.
The clam chowder might be the best in the state. The haddock roll I always add lettuce, tomato and onion to- it’s always cooked perfectly which means it’s a flakey and messy sandwich. The buns always buttered and the produce is always fresh on the sandwich.”
