“Overall, this isn’t a bad substitute for a Chipotle kind of restaurant in the area. I got a burrito bowl and while it was a bit pricey, the food was good and the staff were super friendly. I also appreciated the multitude of drink options.“
“It is a family tradition to visit the Marsh Tavern Veranda to celebrate my wife's birthday. This year it was equally enjoyable as past times. Sitting on the veranda in the summer with a view of the Vermont sky is always special. Our lunch selections were quite good. Service is fast and friendly.“
“I’m so glad we gave this place a chance regardless of sub-par reviews. Atmosphere was cozy and sweet. There was a good mix of people: couples, larger parties, and families. Food was pretty good, service was great, atmosphere was even better. We had 7:00 reservations and were able to be seated right away. The hostess recognized on our reservation that it was our anniversary and wished us a happy anniversary. Drinks were great, appetizers were great, meals were pretty good. All food was garnished and presented beautifully. Scallops were a little under cooked but overall delish. “Great place! Had the melt in your mouth venison. Lovely, warm and unique restaurant. Really enjoyed it, the snow made it that much more cozy. Server was perfect and punctual. They have a mock-tail apple punch or something like that that was refreshing and would be perfect for even younger patrons. Already trying to recreate it...Worth making your visit, as I left a very happy camper! Thank you, as I will visit again.“
“Absolutely fantastic candy shop! It has the “old timey” charm which is a bonus. Their butter crunch is some of the best candy I’ve ever had. I live in Vermont, & I have lots of family in other states. When I visit them for the holidays & such, they always beg me to bring them some butter crunch. The absolute love it. “We worked with the Dorset Bakery on our wedding dessert selection. Dorset Bakery was a huge help to us in selecting the right number and variety of dessert for our wedding. The desserts were delicious and a huge hit for our guests. We loved all the fall flavors we selected from pumpkin cheesecake to apple pie! They were so beautiful as well and looked great on our dessert table.“
“We had the best celebration of my mother’s birthday at this restaurant. The food and service were impeccable. The menu was so varied and had something for everyone, I definitely want to come back and try other things on their menu! “One of my favorite restaurants. Love the chips and salsa.Found myself listless Sunday and drove the hour and a half to Manchester just to visit. Busy but not too crowded at 2pm on a Sunday afternoon. Reservations highly recommended at peak times.Parking: Behind the restaurant is free parking.“
“Nice little spot near center of town. Didn't try the pastries but they all looked wonderful. We had a sandwich which was rather delicious. It escapes me which one it was right now as I am writing my review a week later, so my apologies. Along with the sandwich we had some limeade, also delicious.“
