“I cannot say enough about our experience at Carpenter and Main. The food was fantastic, the service was fantastic, the atmosphere is great - relaxing, attentive service but not overly so. The 4 of us enjoyed each others company without feeling rushed or interrupted. It was the feeling of being in someone’s home.
FOOD
We all ordered apps, mains and dessert. We don’t typically order dessert but when we saw it was homemade ice cream we had to try it. It did not disappoint. We all ordered different everything from each other - Bruschetta, Split pea soup (amazing), Artichokes for Apps. Scallops, risotto, duck, glass noodles with edamame and other veg for mains. The food was amazing. And I mean amazing.
Nate our server is a class act and made our overall experience one we want to repeat.
WINE ETC
The wine list was really good but I have to give props to Johnny the bartender. A talented bartender for sure and one of the reasons we’ll be back.
ATMOSPHERE
There are multiple rooms plus a bar area. The rooms are quieter but we wanted something less quiet so we asked to be moved to the bar area. We also wanted to be able to hear each other talk which was not an issue. We could enjoy the music which wasn’t too loud and hear each other comfortably.
I wish we had this restaurant in our neighborhood.“

“Fortunately this popped up when looking for
a place for a late lunch on our road trip
We stopped just after 3. The cafe closes at 4. What they don’t tell you, or remove from the menu board is they stop serving soup at 3 (doesn’t seem logical) and if they are out of something.
I had a ham sandwich- it was good. The bread is challenging when cold.
Broccoli slaw- good flavor but dry!
Cajun Shrimp sandwich- hubs really liked it.
Croissant was one of my favorites.
Chocolate chip cookie was bomb!
Citrus honey cookie was good
Chocolate cupcake- great frosting.
Vanilla cupcake- snoozefest and dry.
The shop on the side is great too!

“This place was really tasty! I had never tried momos before, and the ones here were absolutely amazing—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. The potato dishes were also packed with flavor and cooked just right. I would definitely come back here if I were ever in the area again. Highly recommend for anyone looking to try authentic Nepali food with vegan options!“

“This was definitely a good choice for us! The food was absolutely amazing and the chocolate lava cake was wayyyy to good. “I always appreciate 110 Grill. We have a family full of allergies and they are fabulously accommodating. Tonight we had service by Mira in West Lebanon,NH and she was the best waitress I have had in so long! Constantly clearing wrappers from the kids, brought drinks before we asked and was so sweet.“

“Last night we went to Jesses o celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary! I had called for some special accommodations I wanted. They did a fabulous job with our booth (which I requested for privacy and low noise level. It was a perfect booth! I had requested champaign be on the table in ice and chilled glasses. Candles were another request. The table was perfect and beautiful. Very romantic! My Huband's gift was delivered to the restaurant. It was sitting on the shelf behind the table. Perfect! The Managers and staff were excellent! A shout out to Tiffany and Abbey(manager). So very pleasant and accommodating. We have never had such excellent service. We have to many 4/5 star restaurants in our 50 years together (actually 52 if you count our courtship) LOL! So, congratulations on a job well done. Everyone (seemed to know about it) Even other patrons came by our table and congratulated us! e were truly made to feel special. I highly recommend Jesses for celebrations, or just a fabulous meal. They usually have live music in the bar area on the weekend nights. Which is where we usually sit for the comradery. . Always someone interesting to strike up a conversation with, sitting right next to you. Jesses is the place to be!“

“Food was pretty good and what you'd expect at a buffet. I didnt catch the name of the dish but it was chicken with pepper and onions. Fricken delicious, one of the best things I've ever ate at a buffet. Service was good, food was mostly hot. By the time we went up for seconds a bunch was refreshed. We were in the area for an appointment. Glad we found this little place.“

“Wait staff is kind, but they aren't super attentive, and the atmosphere is unremarkable. The real winner here is the food. The food is delicious. The butter chicken, and chicken saag have full rich flavors. The food tastes good at every spice level, but it tastes the best at extra spicy. The butter naan pairs well with the curry. The paneer65 was good despite the fry oil tasting a little stale. The mango Lassi is nice if you have a sweet tooth, but it isn't mandatory. My favorite place for take-out in the area.“

“Can tires has always been our go to for fettuccine Alfredo. Tonight was no different. After a long week I placed an order at 7:30 not realizing they close at 8pm. I arrived at 8:15 and the place had a small line and atleast 3 tables full. The staff was incredibly hard working and wonderful. As a person who has worked retail I HATE making people stay past closing time. I usually don’t order so I feel bad that I did this. But you would never know it’s past closing, the staff was working their butts off, still pleasant, acting like it was still another hour until closing not already past it. Truly hard working staff and since the ownership change it only seems to get better. Sorry to the staff I helped make late to go home but truly impressed with your dedication and general pleasantness.“

“OK – nobody’s probably going to believe this, but I am from Atlanta Georgia and was visiting Quechee with a few friends – I’ve been there before, but never been to the Skinny Pancake. I went in to get a latte to go and my friend just about crashed the car when I yelled “Oh my God” while drinking it in her passenger seat. She said, “what’s wrong?” and I said “nothing‘s wrong, everything’s right – this is the best latte I have had in years!!” And too bad we were on our way out of town! VERY fresh and creamy and flavorful with just milk- nothing else! I will be back!! ❤️ So delicious and somebody there is a terrific barista! Kelly T.“

“Just returned from dinner at Pine. Wonderful evening. As my daughter said, the "vibe" was exactly what you'd hope for in a restaurant in this setting...energy was great in the room. The food was extremely good (two pasta dishes, a soup and an app), although the portion sizes were really too much (not much of a complaint, but I feel guilty wasting food). The standout of the night, however, was our waiter, John. I say "waiter" rather than "server" because he truly embodied the old school spirit of the professional waiter....something you don't experience too often any more. I can safely say I've dined out a few thousand times (probably much more) and I am prepared to crown John as the finest waiter I have ever had. Kind, informative, unpretentious, attentive...I can't say enough good things. Well done, Pine, and bravo, John!“

“My friend and I came up for a girl’s weekend and we loved it here! Comfy and cozy, and quiet too. The fireplace in the room was the icing on the cake! And they hand a wonderful breakfast buffet. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. I highly recommend coming here!“
