“I live in Maine and heard about Southside Steakhouse from a friend. The service was great. Bruce was right on top of everything. The oysters 🦪 were delicious. I had the prime rib and let me tell you it was over the top delicious. I highly recommend it for service, food and drinks 🍹. I was very disappointed in the place allowing men to wear hats. Call me old fashioned but good manners are not that hard. It just looks disrespectful to your place of business. You are a very good restaurant and asking for men to remove their hat is only going to draw people back.“
“When it comes to dining experiences on the mountain… It doesn’t get any better than Ledgewood yurt! So special that you have to ski/snowboard down to it. It is a magical yurt in the woods. Beautiful construction, newly renovated, delicious food, very cozy environment, warm drinks, and very friendly, attentive staff! Shoutout to Aspen. A must-do! We can’t wait to go back…“

“We had a great experience at Applebee’s this evening! Came in on a whim with my two littles, and our server Grace was amazingly patient and welcoming. Our food was out promptly, which I think all parents of littles would appreciate!

“This place is cool, I thought there would be a lot more games but that's totally fine because thats not what I went for. I didnt get food but everyone else at the bar was eating and raving about how good it was. Drinks were strong and priced good. Live music is a huge plus too.“

“We ate here last year because it was right downstairs and every night I had the salmon. Tonight I had the short ribs and omg, so good. I’m also someone who usually won’t eat at places below 4.5 stars, yeah I know, but convenience won this time & last and I would have only hurt myself not coming here. Delicious food and the staff is always super kind and helpful. I will likely have the short rib tomorrow to.“

“We came here in the evening after not preparing adequately to get a reservation for a party of 9…. They were SO accommodating. Sergio, our server, was amazing and super attentive. The food was delicious (especially the siracha bourbon chicken wings, imo) and we had a great experience. Highly recommend!“

“Best Grinders in the world, and I’ve been around at 92. Recently changed hands, better telephone service. Lived nearby for 11 years, now many hours away, but worth the trip, especially after a day of traveling home to take a well wrapped large Italian hot grinder out of the cooler and feast. Stays fresh and tasty.“
“Went here for the first time with the young lady I care for. First off, we were we easily able to navigate with a wheelchair which is not always the case! The ice cream is homemade and delicious, can’t wait to try the food. Clean, well run, and everyone there was super nice and helpful.“

“The Rustic Rooster is one of those rare Vermont gems you almost don’t want to share because it’s that special. The food is absolutely amazing — consistently fresh, hearty, and full of flavor. But what really sets this place apart are the people. Greg and Donna, the owners, make you feel like family the moment you walk in. Their team is just as wonderful, and I have to give a special shout-out to Tyler (aka Leroy), whose warmth, humor, and service always make the experience even better. If you’re looking for authentic food, authentic people, and a genuinely welcoming atmosphere, this is it. The Rustic Rooster is easily one of my top spots in Vermont — a true local secret that’s worth discovering.“
