“What a gem! I spent the whole time riding shotgun on I89 researching the best spots to grab dinner with the family for no reason. I should’ve just followed the advice of the internet food gods and headed straight to Blackback Pub. The food was incredible and the service was memorable. Chef Cory is doing what he loves and it shines through. Just about everything but the ketchup starts out from his bare hands. Try the Crab Rangoon Grilled Cheese….its out of this world but makes all the sense in the world. Enjoy one of the last chances to eat a fun and exciting meal before your trip into the VT mountains.“

“One of the best meals we had while visiting VT was at the Reservoir. OMG!! The poutine appetizer was absolutely unbelievable. It was cheesy and bacony goodness. We wanted to lick the plate at the end. My smash burger was one of the best burgers that I’ve ever had. Loved it so much! It was so juicy and delicious. The salad was a good side dish. My husband opted for a plain chicken sandwich instead of the hot chicken. Hot chicken would have had more flavor. My cousin loved his cheesesteak. He said it was one of the best cheesesteaks that he’s ever had. It was super juicy and delectable. My other cousin loved her mahi mahi sandwich. She wanted something different and loved it. Our waiter was very attentive, very personable and gave great food recommendations. He deserves a raise. The Reservoir is a must visit when in Waterbury. Everyone loved the food and the service. Wish it was closer. I’d be there all the time. We’ll be dreaming about it until our next trip.“

Couldn't find the right radish at home in KC (Go Chiefs!!) but substituted a Diakon radish, so good. “I m a big fan of 'Crepes and as a world traveler, I have enjoyed them in Paris, and in other European cities and our Stowe Skinny Pancake, makes the cosmopolitan culinary experience local and delicious. The music is soothing and adds charm to the atmosphere; the cool interior and the lovely, breezy porch for outside dining. Another asset is diners have a selection and choice other than crepes, if so desired. Sean is the manager. He makes on feel at home and brings water to ones dog when dining on the porch, where dogs are welcome and I go everywhere with mine. All in all, I rate the Stowe Skinny Pancake, stellarly and am glad to know it is minutes to town. if one is a visitor, it is walking distance to many hotels and motels. Kudos and keep it coming.
