“The Meal was absolutely delightful . They were unfortunately short staffed do we did have to wait for service to begin. However it was well worth the wait and the dining room was a good choice quiet beautiful white table cloth tables and subtle lighting . We were treated with great service and everything was fresh . The taverns is a bit noisy but for fine dining you fo have a choice and bring seated next to a fireplace was a bonus . I would definitely return and absolutely recommend to anyone traveling in the area for fine dining .”

“Ate and Drank here after motorcycling for 10 hours with no solid food. The Steak Frites was phenomenal, perfectly cooked, perfect cut of meat, perfectly seasoned fries to accompany it. The bartender Jamie made an excellent and magical Rye Old Fashioned using Whistle Pig Rye. I’m a big guy who loves alcohol I don’t use the word magical often but this Old Fashioned was indeed magical. If you want an Old Fashioned and in the area come here ask for the bartender Jamie to make you one, you will be very impressed.”

“How neat to be able to sit outside and look at the scenery. The mountain views are terrific, as the day was pretty clear. Was able to see Mt. Washington and many others.The food was very delicious, but could use a bit more choices, maybe a burger, perhaps?? Oh well, you get what they offer. “If you are, as I am, partial to flavorful thin crust pizza that does not have an excessive amount of cheese, this is the place for you. There are, as usual, plenty of options, but I tried plain, plain with mushrooms and pizza fungus and they were delicious. Not super dougy and generously sized. A moderate number of beers on tap. There are other items on the menu, but I haven't tried them. I expect that they too are well prepared. Lots of parking, plenty of room inside and outdoor seating with a spectacular view overlooking miles of rolling hills.

One caution - be careful of the turn in when approaching from the east. It comes up quickly and is very sharp.”
