“Walked in with my 11 year old on a busy Sunday morning. We expected that it would be busy. we did not expect the brown haired unfriendly waitress to stride over and promptly start yelling at us for basically being there. Immediately without us saying one word she launched into a tirade saying that "there were tables but there would be at least an hour wait for food and see all those tickets up there? (motioning to the kitchen) It'll be at LEAST an hour if not more if people order pancakes." We stood there stunned and she continued "At least I told you." We said okay and motioned that we were gonna leave as she strode off. I told her that at least she could have been nice about it but she was already ignoring us. Wtf?? We went and waited at the Blue Benn because we are civil people and eventually got busy but rational service.”

“The service was great, very friendly staff. The food was quick, fresh and delicious. Here you can get quality food for a good price. Lil’ Britain Fish and Chip Shop is a favorite of mine and one I will continue to recommend it!”

“While coming back to western NY, we made a side trip to Bennington and started to look for somewhere to eat. So, went to Google and found this great place, Blue Benn. An original diner since 1948 - but let me tell you. FANTASTIC from the moment you walk in the door until you try to roll yourself out the door from eating some much wonderful food. From the fried homemade donut to the best omelette ever (which has sour cream in it - who knew). The pricing made me want to get one of each thing on the menu (which is 4 pages of yummyness). And---- the best thing was that they treated you like family. Kudos to Chelsea from the two old ladies from Western NY. The next time I go back to NH, I'm heading to the Blue Benn on the way! Perfect ending to our trip.”

“I was an idiot and completely forgot to pick up my pies for Thanksgiving. They were nice enough to allow me to pick the pies up on Thanksgiving Day. The cider Donuts and Pies are out of this world. A must stop for Bennington.”

“LOVE Mount Anthony Country Club. Beautiful course. The views are unbeatable. I’ve golfed, attended weddings, held company parties (adult only AND kid-friendly), and put on tournaments here. Maru, Tara, and Andrew are wonderful. Josh and his team make tournaments so easy, fun, and stress free. The whole crew is always extremely helpful and accommodating to whatever we need or request, even last minute. Thank you guys!!”

Whether his false accusations are taken down or not he still will never be allowed back in. “This is a home bakery. To buy, you call Caroline and she meets you outside with a selection of what's for sale. The shortbread and rum balls were delicious - very high quality, lots of flavor and perfect texture. Caroline and her husband were really friendly and went the extra mile to welcome us.

“On a road trip, stopped for The Bennington Bookstore next door and was excited to see a local coffee shop. Walked in and immediately was in awe of the space and aroma!! Art tastefully displayed on all the walls. Staff was happy to answer any questions the kids had about boba and other drink options. Great place to sit and take a break or visit with friends; and it was clear walking in its more than just a coffee shop!”

“We had the most delicious meal tonight. The prime rib was perfectly prepared, my husband’s lobster mac & cheese was rich and decadent. Our server Sherry was attentive and very pleasant. The host Rachel was the best. She sat us at a table with a lovely view of the mountains and the Bennington Monument. It was the perfect way to spend our romantic getaway in Vermont!!”

“We stopped in for a early dinner after a leaf peeping trip into Vermont. Wonderful atmosphere, food and service. Sat outside on the patio - it was quiet and relaxing. Nice diverse menu, excellent truffle fries. Def will return!!
