“What a beautiful place to share a special day with special people! We arrived just as the sun was setting and the view of Mount Rainier and the lights from the community were amazing! we checked in and were led to a beautiful table with rose petals beautifully located on the tabletop. Along with that was a beautiful card expressing the perfect words about how we should feel about this perfect Date Night! WHAT A WAY TO START! Our waitress was everything you could ask for; warm, friendly and willing to help with any fine tuning we asked for to make our evening perfect! We shared a glass of wine and then ordered the suggested "House 3 Course dinner. (Either paired with the perfect wine or not, leaving you up to your own choice!) I can't say enough about the quality and quantity of the food at what I felt was a reasonable price for such a beautiful place. Our first course was a beautifully done Cesare salad! The next was the steak entre' with veggies. Mine was excellent, my husband's needed a little bit of attention but was corrected in no time with no hassle. The third course was a great dessert - Perfect to say the least. Don't hesitate to take your special someone to this place, you will not regret it!!!“

“The new cook you have is terrible. He can't cook worth beans. How hard to screw up bacon and eggs. He did this 4 times since I ordered it. This go was bacon under cooked and eggs were burnt. Sent it back just scraped burnt off. Leaving me 1 and 1/4 egg. No use in complaining. They don't care anymore.“

“I was there to day and a man went in to the women's bathroom with a bunch of kids in there and I called him out of the bathroom and the manger and security protected him and said I was in the wrong and that he could us the bathroom. there was a family bathroom he could have used. this dave in buster is messed up in it's believe and anyone who supports this is messed up to. there was a women who took her son in to the family bathroom and he was five. this is how it should be. no MAN SHOULDN'T GO IN TO THE GIRLS BATHROOM PERIOD. “Went there to support my friends band that was playing there. I ordered a Jamison Manhattan. It was one of the skimpiest pours I've seen but that wasn't an issue. When I asked the price $28!!! That's twice the price of the Space Needle let alone a Des Moines dive bar.

Edit: Heard from one of the band members that the insane prices had been adjusted. I made a return visit and the prices were reasonable, the atmosphere was quaint and comfortable and the music was great. I plan to return.“

“I was introduced to this bar by a few friends about less than a year ago and I always have a good time whenever I visit! The bartenders are super nice, sweet, chill, and they definitely know how to make some good drinks to make you feel good!! Any time I have visited they always greet and welcome me with beautiful smiles and they always take great care of me! As busy as the bartenders can be on a weekend, I appreciate them making the effort to make small chats with me or with anyone they can to make them feel welcomed and seen. Respect them and they will respect you, simple!

The cook, big shout out to him!! A few times I was cutting it close to order food in near closing and he still went out of his way to make it! For anyone that orders food last minute and still decides to make it, you better tip the cook!!

To the security staff, thank you for all you do!! I know on the weekends it gets hectic and I appreciate you guys having the patience to keep things fun and under control as possible!

“Great hotel bar with friendly staff. There’s a few good local beers on draft and plenty of bar games like pool, shuffleboard and board games too. Didn’t try the food so can’t comment on that but definitely a decent place to hang out if staying here night before a flight from Seattle.“

Husband and I had such a laid back and refined experience, even in the late hours of the evening when most servers are not at their peak of energy, our server Jayson was superb.
