“I was a bit bummed trying Indian food in the south Seattle area after my atrocious experience with East India grill ( don’t go there EVER unless you want to get charged extra after you’ve already paid and also want mediocre food).
I tried this place out with my family and everyone LOVED it. We had tandoori chicken and chicken tikka. Their naan bread was amazing and this mix of crispy but soft. Best naan I have had at an Indian place. I lived on the east coast for while with tons of Indian places on every corner so that’s a high compliment to pay.
The staff were super polite and nice but also not overbearing at all. Answered questions and even heated up my tandoori chicken again because I thought it was an entree and not an appetizer and it had come out sooner than expected.
The price was also totally reasonable, maybe even underpriced, especially for the quality of food and service they have.
The only slight criticism I have is the ambiance. It’s a clean place but it feels like I was eating at a bodega with harsh hospital lights. They could dim the lights and add some color and decor etc.
overall I highly recommend this place and I will be eating here again and again!“

I had the goat curry, some of the best I've ever had
We were given enough to share with all three of us at our table and provided sharing plates
Service was great as well. If you enjoy hole in the wall gems I highly recommend you stop here. It's our favourite comfort to eat here now
Vegetarian options: The tofu is always well seasoned. My go to is the veggie medly and it's full of flavour“

“Vegetarian and Indian is some of my favorite food, Angar Kitchen didn't disappoint. Food was delicious, we both were stuffed. The atmosphere and decor are really on point here though, it's very modern and beautiful. Definitely thoughtfully designed with even the dishes the food is served in being chic and fit the overall aesthetic. Try it out!“

“I first heard about Kanishka's Des Moines location through a friend who saw somebody raving about it in a Seattle foodies group here on FB. My friend and I went to check it out and, well, it's my new favorite restaurant. I've been here 3 times and Door Dashed it once in the past month. The food every time has been absolutely fantastic, and the portion size are quite generous. The appetizers are almost entree-sized; the first time I went there with a friend, we filled up on appetizers and had to get our entrees to go. Dish recommendations: Chicken 65 and Fish Pakoras for appetizers; Mixed Grill, Lamb Vindaloo, and Paneer Korma entrees. Also, listen to your host as it seems like they're always trying out new dishes that haven't made it onto the menu yet.“

“Fantastic Chole Bhature and aloo parantha. I was just staying overnight as I missed my flight in Seattle due to Delta airlines ( worst airline in the world) but it was a pleasure to order and eat very authentic Indian meal from Junoon. Thanks guys. Heads-up !!! Highly recommend if you are really looking forward to proper Indian cuisine.

“We loved this place. Had some friends from Alaska who were flying out at midnight. We drove over from Port Orchard to take them to dinner. Indian food was requested so I found this place online. Very friendly people, the woman has a sense of humor to match my husband’s ! 😂 The service was prompt. The food was delicious. We will go back whenever we can.“

“For one reason, the Bombay Seafood Curry. You guys, it was out of this world good. The Samosas were just ok. The gentleman was great, the lady barely acknowledged my presence. That was pretty off putting. But I'll definitely return for this dish. Yum“

“We finally got to experience the lunch buffet and oh man..... it was incredibly delicious! So much flavor and so many options! I love that there are a lot of very delicious meatless options for vegetarians as well! It's a little pricey but so worth the money. Can't wait to go back. We've dined in multiple times before as well as ordered online and the food and service was always excellent! But that buffet... oh man, can't wait to go back!! So delicious!“

“100 Stars 🌟 to Manraj.
I recently dined at Manraj Palace Cuisine of India in Kent, WA, located at 13003 SE Kent-Kangley Rd, and it was an unforgettable experience!
This beloved restaurant, a staple since 2000, offers an authentic taste of India in a warm, inviting setting.
The ambiance is cozy yet pristine, creating a welcoming atmosphere perfect for any occasion.
The staff is exceptionally friendly, attentive, and always ready to accommodate preferences, making every visit feel special.
The highlight for me was their incredible paneer dishes, which showcase the rich, authentic flavors of Indian cuisine.
The Shahi Paneer was a standout, with its velvety, aromatic sauce and perfectly tender paneer that melted in my mouth. I also indulged in the Malai Kofta, a vegetarian masterpiece bursting with creamy, nuanced flavors and beautifully presented.
Their Paneer Tikka Masala was equally impressive, balancing spices with a rich, comforting sauce that left me wanting more. Each dish was crafted with care, highlighting the restaurant’s dedication to quality and tradition.
The portions are generous, offering great value, and the menu caters to all, with customizable spice levels and allergy-friendly options.
Whether you’re a paneer enthusiast or exploring Indian cuisine for the first time, Manraj Palace delivers an exceptional vegetarian experience. With a 4.4/5 rating on Tripadvisor and glowing reviews, this Kent gem is a must-visit.
I’m already looking forward to my next visit for more of their divine paneer dishes! I Highly recommended!“

Each dish was a masterpiece—rich in flavor, perfectly spiced, and crafted with high-quality ingredients. Standouts included the tender Butter Chicken, aromatic Biryani, and the flaky, buttery Garlic Naan. The service was impeccable, with attentive and knowledgeable staff who enhanced the meal with thoughtful recommendations. Every detail, from the presentation to the balance of flavors, reflected authenticity and culinary expertise. For an unforgettable Indian dining experience, exceeds expectations and truly deserves its five-star rating. Highly recommended!“

“Omg!!! The best food ever. These folks are at the Everett & Marysville Farmer’s Market. Really good for lunch at the Sunday Everett market since it closes at 3pm. Lunch or early supper since the market closes at 6pm at the Marysville farmers market on Friday. Perfect for a Friday night date!“
