They were soft and pillowey and just perfect. I would have known they were Texans had I looked and saw they had kolaches, I am anxious to try those too! “We ordered a vegan raspberry vanilla 6-inch cake for my fiancé’s birthday, and it was a total hit. Vegan cakes can be hit or miss, but this one was both delicious and beautifully made.

The owner was very responsive, and arranging everything was easy from start to finish, starting with instructions on the website. There was no issue at all with a Friday morning pickup for a Monday order (which I thought might be too quick a pickup turnaround, but she said anything over 48 hours notice works), and pickup itself was smooth and simple. Would absolutely order again.“

I knew these were not going to be made from start to finish at order but they were barely warm. If that aspect changed I’d probably go back but until I hear from someone else I need my food HOT!“

They have a nice variety of food options made on premises and everything is delicious. Our favorites are the breakfast burritos (huge and yummy), the coffee cakes (flavors rotate), GF banana bread w/ chips, the danishes, the marzuka bars, the cookies, and the turkey pesto panini. “I love all the locations but Ballard is cozy and intimate. The space smaller and you can get the whiff of gooey chocolate as you walk in.
The location is also quintessentially Ballard and you can come here after shopping at Lucky’s vintage or after eating delicious Oaxacan mole next door.
I love the cookies. The peanut butter cookie has a nice salt taste to it that really comes through. It is rich, balanced and crunchy. The s’mores is my other go to and it is gooey with decadent chocolate. Of course the molten lava cake with ice cream. Surprisingly, it travel really well and I’ve gifted this for special occasions. I’ve not tried anything savory am I want to. Anything with Beechers great.“
