“The new owners previously owned Shop Agora in Seattle, which is one of the best Greek and European food stores. And the owners have brought that same spirit to the Marketplace. Incredible wines, delicious falafel, and perfect Halloumi fries. Couldn’t be happier to have them in the neighborhood 🙌🏻“

“Great service. One gal running around, but she was very efficient and friendly. Spacious place. Lots of seating and patio tables, too. My sandwich was really good. Prices are slightly high but seem reasonable compared to most of the places in the area.“

“Charming place with REALLY good sandwiches - the gobbler was deff two enthusiastic thumbs up! The seasonal chai latte with pumpkin topping was the absolute best. And, side note, thank heavens they have clean bathrooms cuz that’s sometimes a question mark in high traffic areas! ? all in all, I’d deff visit again and would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great bite to eat!“

“I am a recently hired employee at the BIMA bistro. I absolutely love working there, the staff is very kind and helpful, the food is great, and it’s a cleanly restaurant. The bistro seems to be improving every day, and my parents love eating there.“

“The coffee and pastries are good. The space is cute but really cramped. I was so disappointed in the avocado toast. It tasted like it was premade, stored in the fridge, and then served cold, which is a confusing choice for....toast. I may be back for coffee but won't bother getting the toast again. :(“

“When I walked into Holy Water, I felt like I’d stepped inside my favorite kooky aunt’s house. She was the black sheep of the family who made me laugh a little too much when we were forced to go to church to appease my grandmother. Eventually, we were forbidden to sit next to one another because we’d both be in tears and giggling so loudly that the entire congregation would turn to stare us down. That sort of irreverent (yet respectful and funny) vibe is part of Holy Water’s DNA. This place immediately makes you feel welcome. It doesn’t take itself too seriously- that is except for the food. If only my kooky aunt was as good a cook… The staff is amazing. They were patient when my lunch companion had to make some bizarre alterations to his order. (He’d just had a wisdom tooth pulled a couple of days before and needed softer foods.) When we were ready to leave and still had way too much food on our plates, a staff member saw the look of surrender on our face and quickly boxed up the remainders and told us that she’d added some extra gravy (yum!) for us to take home. (Who doesn’t love extra sausage gravy?) I love this place. The food is great but what really makes this spot shine is the people. I can’t wait to go back.“
“This is THE best beach food you’ll ever have. Creative, flavorful, modern eats. The view and the owners can’t be beat. Sandwich and poffertjes were amazing as always.“

“This cafe has been on my mind a LOT recently. They have everything I look for in a shop: top tier coffee options, fun drink creations, a good amount of seating to chose from, and food that is far from basic. I ordered an espresso roasted by Tim Wendelboe which was perfectly extracted, the egg and cheese sandwich that had a strawberry chili jam and pickled veggies which I couldn't get enough of, and a rose cookie that paired perfectly with the espresso. The shop has a lot of color and personality, and great retail options like wine, bitters, chai, and when I visited amazing coffee options from La Cabra, Loveless Coffee, Tim Wendelboe and Kuma coffee. On top of everything, the service was amazing. Planning on coming back again soon!“

“One of the most unique and delicious places to grab a bite!! The Icelandic yogurt is very creamy and delicious with the berries and granolas. The danish hotdog is high quality and tender with dill infused mustard and pickles. Def worth trying the tasty Nordic foods!“

“I am an aficionado of coffeeshops - and this little slice of heaven ranks up with European coffeehouses I have been to full of a community feel, cozy charm and friendly baristas. The only downside is pretty much everybody in the area knows about it, too. So you may not get a seat at the more busy times. But keep trying - it is worth many repeated attempts!“

“This place has the best Musubi I've ever had!!!!! Their coffee is absolutely amazing as well. The nice lady Jamie (not sure if that's how you spell it or not) who owns it is absolutely the sweetest most kindest lady ever!!!! Shes also really pretty ?. The place always has a line lol. They are only open 10AM-2PM & the Musubi runs out fast sometimes so make sure you go early enough if you want some. It says "spicy" tuna & "spicy" chicken but the only thing that makes them "spicy" is the Sriracha Mayo which is AMAZING & not spicy just has a tiny after burn that goes away quickly. You must try this place!!!!!!“

“Loved the food, drinks & vibes. Staff super friendly. Great prices
Amazing sandwich - flavor, especially the bread & sauce with the filling.
Hot mocha salted caramel with coconut milk hit the spot (like extra fancy hot chocolate).
Baklava would take to go next time (eyes bigger than stomach- it's a huge slice).
Can't wait to return & try more options.
Tucked a little away from main street so not as busy.“

“I just love bay street coffee, it is my absolute favorite place to get coffee in Bremerton. Whatever coffee beans they use to make their espresso coffee drinks is amazing and every time I am there when I get a drink I have to always get whipped cream because they make their whipped cream in the coffee shop everyday and they have flavors of whipped cream like sometimes it's coffee flavored whipped cream sometimes it's just straight vanilla sometimes it's Cherry so my main thing that I actually love the most is their flavors of whipped cream.“

“This place is every best type of 90s nostalgia! As someone who vividly and fondly remembers physical record stores, being here warms my heart. And the cafe delivers great food with plenty of vegetarian options--for prices that seem to have barely changed since Nirvana played here!!“

“I wish they were open for longer on weekends. It's the only place a lot of people have to go to get internet and to play games and relax after a long week of hard work. The hours here on maps are wrong, they open on weekdays at 6AM and close at 8pm, and on weekends open at 10AM and close at 5pm.“

“La Copa has the best coffee in the area. Their staff understands the science and art of pulling espresso shots and their machine is calibrated properly so your drink is well made. They have a nice variety of food options made on premises and everything is delicious. Our favorites are the breakfast burritos (huge and yummy), the coffee cakes (flavors rotate), GF banana bread w/ chips, the danishes, the marzuka bars, the cookies, and the turkey pesto panini. The owners and staff are hard-working and kind. They care about their locals and the newbies. Do yourself a favor and stop in. You deserve it!“

“Favorite coffee shop in Ballard and always greeted with a smile. Our pups are also huge fans and always demand that we go to Firehouse Coffee.
Looks like there’s a bunch of moms from some group talking about this place being unfriendly to kids.. I’ve never experienced or witnessed any kind of rudeness from any of the staff here. I’m sure the real issue is these moms being messy and letting their kids destroy the place and then blame the staff for not being excited about it.“

“This is the only coffee shop that I don’t need to add some kind of sweetener to my coffee. I get a breve to go and it is so smooth with just a hint of sweet. Perfection to me. Plus all the staff are nice and the shop itself is pleasant.“

“I've embarked on a veritable açai odyssey, sampling bowls far and wide, yet Verve Bowls reigns supreme! Their dedication to crafting the perfect bowl is unparalleled – no premixing here, and the peanut butter? Woven throughout every bite, not just lazily plopped on top. This level of care and quality sets them leagues apart from the rest. But, dear reader, my love letter doesn’t end here. I've a modest proposal that could revolutionize your Verve experience: the strategic granola deployment. By splitting the granola, half beneath the açai mix and half aloft, each spoonful from start to magnificent finish is a texture lover’s dream. This isn't mere conjecture; it's a tested theory that, by my calculations, amplifies bowl enjoyment by a staggering 37%. Verve, your bowls have captured my heart and taste buds. By considering this small tweak, you could elevate the sublime to the divine. Berry lovers, unite and advocate for this granular revolution. Verve isn’t just making bowls; they’re crafting experiences. Cheers to the team that makes us come back for more, spoon in hand and hearts full of berry love.

“Their great service turned the disappointment into satisfaction! I’ve come inside with my drink after sitting outside for a while. There was still a little amount of coffee on the bottom, and I was about to finish it, but then found the entire cup was gone when I was back from bathroom. Kindly, they apologized and brought me another cup of drip coffee when I described the situation (I asked just a half amount as that was quite good enough). I appreciate that they cared about how I would feel :)“

“The title basically says it all - the prices feel high but not higher than a typical Seattle restaurant, and it felt worth it based on the portion sizes and the high quality ingredients. We’re just visiting the area, but I’d definitely be a regular if I were a local! We split the faux tuna and the marinated tofu grilled onion sandwiches - both were yummy, but the marinated tofu was noticeably more flavorful and our favorite of the two. Also got the oat and fig cookie smoothie with hazelnut butter and hemp milk and I was pleased by how yummy it was without tasting overly/artificially sweet. Kid-friendliness: cute plushie decorations and overall atmosphere that would appeal to children“

“Good service and large booths and many tables. Food was 3 to 4 stars - about what you’d expect at a hotel breakfast/lunch cafe. The best plate we had was the Eggs Benedict. Good hollandaise, perfectly cooked eggs, light and delicious ham and tasty hash browns. The Chicken Fried Steak was “pretty good” but not great. We prefer it made from ground or pounded beef and this was a breaded sirloin. Large, but a touch firm and just not as delicious as what we usually get in Portland diners. The eggs and hash browns were cooked perfectly and it was probably enough food for two folks to share.
Our son got the biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were lovely: fluffy and large. Definitely homemade. The gravy was more buttery than creamy and hardly any sausage in it. I’m kinda on the fence about recommending it and my son said he wished he got pancakes instead.
Prices weren’t too bad. I would eat here again if I come back to the great Clearwater Resort.
Vegetarian options: There were several vegetarian options especially if you like omelettes, salads or pancakes.
Parking: Lots of parking spots in garage or lot.
Kid-friendliness: Kids menu and casual dining
Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of space and large entrance.“

“I stopped in at hot Java Café got myself a 24 ounce mocha and a steak and egg breakfast burrito and let me tell you the steak and egg breakfast burrito? not a whole lot to write home about but very filling, not heavy on the stomach and fresh enough to where it didn’t give me acid reflux or negative reaction so four stars for that but the coffee was amazingly well-made tasteful not bitter in the slightest and made with a lot of Care. I highly recommend Java Café even if you’re stopping in for a quick bite or whatever else. check them out.“
