Around the side by the bus bins there are a few thematic coloring books and pencils, origami instructions and paper, and freely available water. I thoroughly enjoyed myself finishing the coloring page of a Chinese herb. The food influences seem primarily German and Asian. I recommend for someone who loves food or beverage exploration, or for friends looking for someplace to feel both homey and fancy.“

I stopped in and ordered the creamy beet and apple soup and listen, this is not a “beets are controversial” situation. This is silky, slightly sweet, perfectly balanced, soul-warming goodness. Earthy without tasting like you’re hugging a root cellar. The apple brightens it up just enough, and the creaminess ties it all together like a cozy scarf you didn’t know you needed. Add the fresh bread and butter on the side and suddenly I’m rethinking all my life choices that didn’t involve this soup sooner.

And then there was my favorite companion: a matcha oat milk latte with orange zest. Clean, smooth matcha flavor, creamy oat milk, and that little citrus pop from the orange zest? Chef’s kiss. It’s the kind of drink that makes you pause mid-sip and stare thoughtfully out a window like you’re in an indie film set in the Pacific Northwest. ☕🍊

“Have been meaning to try this spot for a while. We went for Saturday brunch at about 11:30, several tables but not too busy. I had the turkey Swiss frittata sandwich on the cheddar scone. I’d asked for it in sourdough, and the server asked if I’d had the scone - tempted me to try it. The sandwich was delicious - great flavors, held together well, and the scone was worth it. My daughter had the strawberry banana waffles, per her it was delish. Also her honey lavender latte great.“

They have a nice variety of food options made on premises and everything is delicious. “I absolutely love this place. Kickdown Cafe as a very cute little hole-in-the-wall business. The nice lady makes good food. The iced coffee is very tasty and they have a large verity of goods there. They even do massages and therapy. I really loved the service and the atmosphere. They accept volunteer work and will happily accept any extra help they can get. I would definitely recommend going here.Mondays through Fridays 10:00 - 17:00.“

“I wish they were open for longer on weekends. It's the only place a lot of people have to go to get internet and to play games and relax after a long week of hard work. The hours here on maps are wrong, they open on weekdays at 6AM and close at 8pm, and on weekends open at 10AM and close at 5pm.“
