“We have been going to this Shari's for two years now. The service team there has been reliably on their game, even with our sometimes-complicated orders. The food has been reliable good and is typically served in a reasonable amount of time. Prices seem average for the area and meals. When they are busy, which doesn't seem to be too often, they seem to seat everyone reasonably fast.When I compare them to the IHOP right next door I choose them 100% of the time. Better, friendlier, faster service, smaller menu but typically less kids and cozier quieter seating.“
“We love perusing this bookstore and feel immensely grateful that spaces like this still exist. This store, in particular, is really well laid out and organized, and we love that there are always some new deals available, as well as highlighted new releases and special interest books. The staff are usually helpful and engaging, with rare exceptions. Though we have noticed that there tends to be a bit less book knowledge here than we've found at smaller, independent bookstores. Our only real complaint about this store is that there are some items that are not in their system for some reason, and if you are unlucky enough to happen upon one of these items, it is an ordeal. We had such a situation occur on our last visit, and we stood at the register for at least 10-15 minutes, while staff tried to figure out the issue. In the end, there was some hasty "patch," but no apologies or offers of restitution for the hassle. Instead, we left feeling like WE had done something wrong. Definitely not the finale we were hoping for after an otherwise fun shopping experience. Overall, though, this is a great place to spend a couple of hours and find most of the books on your "need to read" list (and some you didn't even know you needed - until you did):)“
“Always loved the burgers and garlic fries here at Inside Out, and appreciated the great service Margaret provides in the Khaki Lounge. Make sure you ask what the special is. I sometimes forgot to ask, then ended up disappointed I missed the opportunity to get some of their fish tacos. (Not San Diego / Rubios quality fish tacos, but good fish tacos nonetheless). My only real complaint is they serve Pepsi products and I'm a Coke addict, but then just about everyplace in Kitsap serves Pepsi.“
“Used to love coming here! Food is still usually great if they get our order right. Today 2 ppl dropped off food for our family of 3... the lady tilted the plate so far I said, "oops the soup is gonna spill"... she spilled it, didn't acknowledge it, super awkward. My husband asked the other lady helping if he could get a spoon for his soup, they both just walked away. Why is there a tipping option here? lol it's been years since we've experienced friendly service here, which is why we normally just do drive true but sometimes that can take 20min... at least the food quality is pretty good compared to other nearby options.“

Particularly enjoyed the brunch selections with the veggie options and love the Wied selection of mocktail and cocktails!Vegetarian options: Many of the brunch options had a vegetarian sausage option or a mushroom/onion option. “Yes! Yes! Yes! From friendly service to perfect drinks and fulfilling breakfast in density and flavor. We opted to go inside the cafe to order our take out breakfast versus the drive thru. Seems like they may be working on the interior a bit, but it wasn't distracting. They have a little corner with books and toys for the kiddos, and highchairs.We were immediately greeted by a gal in the back. She kindly offered her recommendations when asked and was helpful in explaining ingredients and flavors. We ordered the $14 BB Burrito; eggs, bacon and cheddar - no skimping on this fatty breakfast burrito! Also got the $3.50 single slice avocado toast and added hard boiled eggs for an extra $1.50, def worth it. Don't be fooled by its appearance, so much flavor and deliciousness! The single slice was perfect for me, I loved the garlic, salt and pepper seasonings and sourdough.Aside from the traditional coffee drinks, they have smoothies and blenders. We got the Mango smoothie, smallest size is 16oz. Vanilla Chai tea latte with almond milk, so much yum!So glad we ventured 7 minutes off our route to check Hot Java Cafe out!Parking: Small private parking lot.Kid-friendliness: Cafe has kid corner and toys to help occupy the wee ones. “My wife and I are regulars at Oxalis and we both love the food and coffee. However the customer service takes the experience to another level. The employees are amazing! This cafe is well worth the visit! I highly recommend the egg sandwich! Enjoy!“
“Finally got to try this! We tried one of each musubi, as well as one coffee and one red bull drink. The last who attended is was super sweet and friendly & everything was delicious. I loved the bacon avocado the most and my spouse loves the spicy tuna. I don't know what kind of sauce came with that spicy tuna but it is amazing. The drinks were too but I don't know if I can order drinks next time. This is drive through *only* and it's really the drinks that delay the drive through as the musubis are already made and it makes me uncomfortable to slow it down.I think the one thing I really don't like is the drive through situation. Only maybe 4-6 cars fit into the area and the rest need to stay out in the street, in the suicide lane waiting for a spot which just gets me all antsy as someone could easily/accidentally cut in front. Also if you are not in a car, are you supposed to stand in the street? Doesn't seem safe.I would think it would be best to have the line snake through the parking lot. OR maybe place an order, get a ticket, wait in car, and have it brought out for drink orders, but they need more than one worker for that. OR maybe a walk-up only would be the best option, so have people park and then they form a line in person. Any of those would mean no one is in the street.Basically the food and the service are amazing, but really wish they could work with the way their setup works.“
“It’s nice, kinda like a lower chain Starbucks, this shop technically runs off of what they can make in financial security from making coffee to, “ helping the kids and teens from being homeless” which- when you contact there facility to report a homeless kids and to get information NOONE responds or helps. Sounds like just a money making system that gives you false advertising. Won’t be returning to give my money to a place that claims to help but neglects ones that reach out for it!“
“We decided to stop by for brunch on the weekend. The owner was so friendly and generous.Was disappointed to find out that do not serve savory crepes, but they make amazing sweet crepes and sugar cookies. We were both psyched to see an Eagles cookie, and bonded with the store owner, chatting occasionally while we ate.We ate in the dining portion, which is partitioned from the kitchen by the check out counter. It is filled with simple 2 person tables, and the owner was kind enough to refill our water for us.We had a great time and will be sure to come back.Vegetarian options: Menu is full of sweet crepes, and desserts. All vegetarian.Parking: Parking designated by signs in the gravel parking lot next to the shop.“
