“Popular spot because of the great marina views, outdoor patio, good beer, casual atmosphere and good food. Sometimes there is a line to order your food so just be patient.“

“The location was easy to navigate from the ferry terminal and the drive was a nice change of scenery from the usual crush of tall buildings and narrow streets of Seattle. The selection of drinks was superb and the staff were very friendly and attentive to making great recommendations based on your tastes and preferences. Knowledgeable team of great people who made sure the tables were clear and clean. You order your drinks from the bar and can sample to see if you like what's available.

Overall, it was a fantastic experience and definitely one of my top experiences for a brewery outing with fantastic friends in a location that was quiet, comfortable, and immersed in nature. The business park that the brewery is located also features some distilleries within the same parking area so moving from one preference of drink to another was as simple as crossing the parking lots. Great pizza place nearby as well. I would definitely endure the potentially long wait times of the ferries from Seattle to Bainbridge just to enjoy the outing with friends at this brewery.

Also, there's an awesome raptor hanging out in a nest on the cell tower nearby and it'll peek at you if you're seated outside.“

Square Pegs Autistic Adult Meetups needed a place for meetings and I was hopeful that Ashley would be willing to discuss the possibility. She went so far beyond that - she was immediately responsive in the affirmative, scheduled a time to chat quickly, and graciously let us use the space without so much as a charge or minimum drink orders. “I stopped by Lock & Keel the other night and had one of those small but meaningful experiences that remind you why some bars just get it right. I ordered a Diet Coke, but for some reason, my credit card wouldn’t work in their system. Before I could even start fumbling for cash or awkwardly apologizing, the bartender—this super sweet girl with black hair and a nose ring—just smiled and said, “Don’t worry about it, it’s on me.”

It wasn’t about the free drink; it was about the vibe. She was friendly, calm, and made what could’ve been an embarrassing moment feel like nothing at all. You don’t always get that kind of kindness in busy bars, and it stood out.

Lock & Keel isn’t just a place to grab a drink—it’s a spot where the staff genuinely seem to care about making people feel welcome. Shoutout to the bartender with the nose ring and black hair—thank you for the Diet Coke and the good energy.

“Fun little pub with a good view out into the water, it was very crowded the day we went due to a festival going on in town but it definitely made it lively. The service staff were flying around everywhere but still made the time and effort to be friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and the beers were cold so no complaints, would stop in again if I happen to be in the area, if you get a chance definitely pop in.“

“My boyfriend and I came over to watch the Chelsea v Brentford game. It was our first time here, and I’m already excited to come back to watch another game here. We had chicken nachos with a side of pineapple habanero sauce - super good! It was a fantastic portion, there were plenty of delicious toppings (the tomatoes and green peppers tasted so fresh), and the pineapple habanero sauce had the perfect heat. The staff was also celebrating (and crying) with us during the game - loved the sound effects haha.

Also for my fellow girls, the girls’ bathroom is so cute with a disco ball, glitter walls, and toiletries.“

“This is a nice place to go probably the best place in Port Orchard if you want a mix of people and music. The chicken strip and fries are so good and they serve food all night! They have some pool tables and dart boards. We typically go just to play darts on the weekends but there are never more than 1 or 2 set of darts when we go so make sure to bring your own darrs! We have had to drive all the way hoke to grab our own darts which is inconvenient. Hopefully the owner will purchase another pack of darts soon. Besides that it is a great place to be.“
