“I have been on a hunt for a good Chinese food restaurant, and this is the place!
It is best to dine in or order in person so there isn’t any confusion with your order. I was hesitant to try this place at first because of the negative reviews, but I’m glad that I didn’t pass this up.
I was impressed with the wonderful service. I was greeted at the door. Upon ordering my food to go, I ordered an additional item, it was the most tasty soup. When I arrived home, I was pleasantly surprised with how delicious the food was. The kung pow shrimp, chicken with garlic sauce, sautéed chicken and vegetables, mongolian beef were all amazing.
Check this place out if you haven’t already!“

“Food was absolutely delicious and the owner and staff were so friendly. We had teriyaki chicken, orange chicken and pot stickers. Everything was so flavorful and scrumptious! Can’t wait to come back for more. Thank you Rising Sun! God bless you all!“

“Panda Express maybe the fast food of Amercanized Chinese food, but here in Battle Ground it's truly one of the best for Chinese type food. Tried all other "Chinese" restaurants in BG and they pretty much suck. So if you want decent fast Chinese food, just go to Panda...they have edible food.“

“I ordered Pot Stickers (6) for $7.75, Crispy Spring Rolls (2) for $2.75, and the Golden City Combination Fried Rice, which includes shrimp, chicken, and pork, for $7.75.
The pot stickers were huge, packed with flavorful meat, likely pork, and even better with the pot sticker sauce. The spring rolls were perfectly crispy, filled with veggies, and complemented by the sweet & sour dip. The Golden City Combination Fried Rice was tasty, with a surprising amount of shrimp for the price. My only minor complaint is that it could’ve used just a pinch more MSG (the "cocaine of cooking," as Uncle Roger says).
Including a canned Coke, the total bill came to $21.97—a great deal in today’s tough economy. Overall, 4 out of 5 stars! I highly recommend Golden City!“

“Definitely a place to visit 🤎 The gyoza were nice, full and juicy. The Spicy Pork and Kung Pao Chicken were savory and the sauce was delicious!! The yakisoba and rice were both fantastic! 😋 While we were dining, Sam, the manager came out to greet us.. very friendly and was very kind and appreciative. Another awesome thing about this place is the excellent service and clean tables!! Reasonable prices as well! The menu has so many options, I look forward to going back and trying other menu items. By far one of the best teriyaki places I have eaten at anywhere. 🤎“

“Scorching hot soup. Sweet and sour chicken combo came with no vegetables (onion/bell pepper/carrots), very large pieces of crispy chicken and plenty of rice, tasty Spring roll and a wonton. Tea was not very hot (not sure what tea - it was black), not the typical Jasmine tea.“
