“Hello everyone,My mom had her birthday 2 weeks ago, and she picked out this place to have a celebration dinner with me and a family friend. The servers did an amazing job and were very kind and pleasant. The atmosphere and esthetic were amazing, complete with very mellow music in the background. The food was to die for. I recommend this place to anyone who is craving Chinese sea food cuisine. Will totally come back again and bring a friend.Sincerely, a happy customer.??“
“I went with a friend to have lunch. It was a quiet place with no one but us and the goldfish at times. Lots of take out orders. Plenty of room. The food was very good. The hot sour soup was sweet, which I've never had before. The kung pao chicken was delicious. Not very spicy.Had to ask for chopsticks. And they forgot to give us fortune cookies either that or they no longer give out fortune cookies. It's a great place to eat. Service was prompt. And the fish are friendly. We ordered off the lunch menu which made things easy. We got our choice of crab rangoon or spring roll, white steamed rice, and an entree for under $14.“
“We used to frequent this restaurant many years ago. After a long absence, we came back and found that the restaurant is now mainly Thai food. We had the Red Curry and Drunken Noodles. Both were generous portions, and the prices were very reasonable.? I would like to try other dishes again.?“
“Right when we walked in he greeted us nicely and waited patiently for us to find out what to eat. He started conversations and was really nice, service was fast and even gave us an kimchi on the house which was really good. Overall really nice experience, definitely recommend!“
“The owners are very hospitable and kind. The food always tastes fresh and delicious. The serving amount is insane, two young kids can share a plate of chicken teriyaki.I went tonight with my two kids and parents, sat in front of the TV on the wall. As we are sitting down, the owner comes by and without a word, puts on cartoons for the kids to watch while we wait on the food (which came fairly quickly). The service was top notch, especially when the owner knew we were about finished and he dropped off to go containers and lollipops for the kids. It was a hit. Also, after leaving, more people flooded the restaurant. It was near capacity. This place does not disappoint.“
“I want to shout from the rooftops how AMAZING their food is!! From the very first bite I knew I had found a new favorite restaurant. Their green pepper fish soup with rice noodles is out of this world. I give it 6 out of 5 stars. All the flavors were balanced 100% perfectly, and that’s saying a lot because I’m a veteran foodie with a picky palate who is quite discriminating about flavors. The chef here is a flavor ninja. Also, rarely do I rave about a restaurant enough to leave a review, that’s how impressed I am.By the way, I highly recommend getting the “crispy fried milk.” I ate an entire serving of it in one sitting yesterday, and I could have eaten two more, it was that delicious. It comes with a sweet, coconutty sauce that reminds me of the sweet yet slightly savory sauce used in sticky rice with mango that you find at Thai restaurants.Eat here, you won’t be disappointed!“
“Love this place! they always give me exactly what I am craving for. I stopped by for lunch once and my takeout order was taking a bit longer than expected, but the nice lady offered me some delicious hot tea and water on the house. great food and great service.“
“My family has been coming here for decades. The owners know us, our names, our orders, and every single time the food is perfect. All throughout my life ill have other chinese food and always think, “It’s good, but its no Wu’s” and that is a common saying among friends and family who know how delicious and special this restaurant is. I love introducing new people to this place because their reaction is always the same; “I’ve never had chinese food that tastes like this”. I’m not sure what magic they use, but it’s special. If you are in the area and are looking for a chinese restaurant to try, look no further.“
“I haven't had hotpot this good since I left New York. The broth was delicious and flavorful, all of the food was fresh and tasty. It had a really fun, upbeat atmosphere and was well worth the trip out to Beaverton. Very excited to go back again!“
“Absolutely loved the food. Digital menu, extremely fast service and delicious food. We ordered the combination fried rice and the spicy pork ribs flat noodle which was Absolutely amazing. The fried rice was good, however, it was not unique.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly with baby stool/chair“
“I didn't order Jjajang, but the regular Jjajang noodles were dry and so dry that it was difficult to even mix the seasoning, and by the time I got there, the noodles had turned into rice cakes... I've never been there, but I have to say that I experienced the desert firsthand. I desperately wanted to pour at least some hot water. Sweet and sour pork was so delicious. The server was also very friendly. Thank you.“
“This place has great food and oh so good service. Lunch special is 8.95 and includes soup spring roll and rice. Kung pao chicken is delicious. Might want to stay away from the Sesame beef. Too much coating for my taste. Best Chinese food since we moved back here 8 yrs. ago. You should try it.“
“We've gone in to order and have also called ahead, but have only gotten our food to go. The staff has been pleasant and they make the orders pretty quickly. The food is delicious. The sesame beef is FANTASTIC. I highly recommend. It's labeled as spicy, I am a wuss when it comes to anything spicy. Its more of a garlicky spicy. My husband pointed out it the label and I was confused because I didn't find it spicy at all. He got the Kung Pao, he really liked it. The BBQ pork chow mein was delicious. The BBQ pork itself was a little dry but good with some sauce. Over all, I absolutely recommend this adorable little place.“
“Food is fantastic. Place was pretty busy and you can tell locals hit this place up all the time. It's got a real old school vibe because it is a house/ business. I felt like I was in someone's grandma's place with all the house plants... To go service onlyPretty much no wait time if you get the chicken or pork. They have a really good menu even though I haven't tried very much on it. The quality of rice was so good. I say that because if it's just so so it just doesn't feel like anything else fits together. I really like that. They had sauce out if you wanted something spicy or a little bit more of the teriyaki sauce and it's just so easy to grab. I think a lot of places fail at some of the to-go elements. But this was so dialed in. It didn't matter. There were almost 10 people waiting. I think I was in and out and three to four minutes. This place rocks will hit them up againParking: Street parking on this place but it was easy to navigate on the side street“
“Adding context - today, I screwed up and forgot to ask for no peppers on a dish. I'm 2/3s of way home and realize I messed up. Not only did Bruce remake the dish for me when I returned, but he didn't charge me for the remake - and I was ready to do so, b/c it was my mistake. That is the type of service you can expect - on top of the excellent food!“
“Been here a few times now, and every time it's a wonderful experience, the food is great and the staff is fun and friendly. Garcia is awesome and gave us some great recommendations. I recommend ordering in the restaurant, there are daily specials, better customizable options, and no 3rd party fees (I'm looking at you grubhub).Dietary restrictions: The Pad Thai is gluten free (could have cross contamination, but my celiac roommate hasn't had any issues with it)“
“We did takeout so can't speak to dine in experience. Looked like limited seating though there were a lot of plants. Food portions are extremely generous and teriyaki chicken and rice was excellent, not too sauced, salty or sweet. Will try other things next time. Google posts that they close at 8pm, though sign on door says 7pm. Don't play yourself and come late.“
“Excellent service. Can't speak enough of the lady who helped us. She sure was fun.Held a Bday gathering.Huge plate sizes.A nice little water area near by. Very close walking distance.Only complaint-no decaf, creamer of milk.Parking: Not much parking.“
“Visited on a weekday for a quick bite hoping for potstickers and boba but they were out of potstickers :( luckily we tried the other food and discovered how delicious the chicken and tofu were! The cheese sticks were alright. Boba was good and the store is cute. The person serving us was very welcoming and nice. I’ll definitely be back to try the potstickers someday!“
“Very fresh ingredients for an all you can eat place. I appreciate that they give you crepes if you want a mushu style wrap. You can also just do protein and veggies for a low carb option. The line can get a bit long but they cook efficiently and the service is friendly. Great lunch price too. Just be warned that, given the nature of the cooking process, ingredients will get mixed together so this isn’t the best spot for someone with severe food allergies.“
“Absolutely love this place!! My boyfriend and I come in at least once a week, sometimes even more. Their weekly specials are the best in town, cannot go wrong with the thursday pizza special! We've been coming for quite some time and have to say the new owners have done a great job with their transition :)“
“The food is consistently tasty, the service is great, the atmosphere is simple and clean. Just a typical order at the counter vibe. Remains a favorite lunch place.Dietary restrictions: There are vegetarians options, and if you have a gluten sensitivity and are ok with potential cross contamination, the cashew chicken is delicious. I always order it GF but I'm not sure if you have to specify gf.Kid-friendliness: I've taken my kids there since they were little and they love it. No kids menu but we'd just share since the portions are large.“
“Nice old lady in the cart and there's a lot of options on their menu. I tried ordering the oyster on there, but they were out must be one of the more popular items. We ended up getting the honey walnut shrimp in the Taiwanese fried chicken. The only one that shrimp is really good with a lot of sauce which I really appreciated. The shrimp pieces itself was covered in quite a bit better, but surprisingly, I didn't bother me. It was actually really good the better of a soft inside and crunchy on the outside with the shrimp. The Taiwanese fried chicken is absolutely delicious. Season so well, and had a lot of flavor per bite. They were pretty thin slices, but the chicken was still pretty juicy.Highly recommend this food cart there sesame balls are also really good and they give you six per order.“
“Our grandmother LOVED P.F Changs so we decided have lunch here the afternoon of the day she passed away. We were not in the best headspace but our server Amber was so patient and listened to us babble on and on about our grandmother and how we would bring her here and she would always order the oddest thing she could find on the menu. After we got our food, Amber brought out a dish that wasn't on the menu and said that she has asked the kitchen to make the least likely thing they could think of in her honor, on the house. It really touched us that she took the time to listen during her busy shift. It really meant a lot and dining here will always remind us of our Grandma. Thank you!“
“If you're a fan of spicy, flavorful food, Hometown Taste Restaurant is worth checking out.It seems the chefs from the former Taste of Sechuan have landed here, and they've brought their delicious recipes with them. The space is small, and the atmosphere isn't anything special, but the food more than makes up for it.Be prepared for generous portions and dishes with a real kick!“
“Makes you feel at home with delicious food and super kind people working. So happy they didn't let this place close for good!Dietary restrictions: I have a gluten allergy, and they have no issue with making my food gluten-freeKid-friendliness: They love kids and will try to make them smile!“
“It's a pretty chill local bar in the area. The interior is pretty spacious with pool tables, video lottery, and karaoke stage. They have daily specials as well as happy hour specials. We stopped by for a quick drink and a snack while waiting for our other friends.“
“We tried the salt & pepper calamari appetizer. It was well prepared but too salty. We asked if we could order some to go later in the week as we were going to a holiday party. “Can we get 4 orders to go but less salty?” They agreed and the product was ready on time. The guests loved the calamari . It was a hit ! ?Dietary restrictions: No problem asking for a salt - reduced item“
“We had a group of 18. Everything went fast and smooth. Dinner came quick and presentation was nice. Food tasted good but it was too salty for a few people's taste. Would still recommend themWheelchair accessibility: We went into the banquet room for an 85th Birthday We had several unstable people with canes. The ramp is steep and kind of scary. It didn't feel real sturdy. I really think this should be redone for safety.“
“We've been eating here for a long time. It's been consistently good, and the portions are healthy. There are lots to choose from off the menu, and they also offer specials such as their homemade noodles. I love their wontons in spicy chili oil and soups, too. Staff is always friendly. They have a parking lot and video poker in the back room.I'm glad that they are still around after the pandemic.Wheelchair accessibility: They are wheelchair accessible.“
“Been coming to AGs Sports Bar on and off for years. I come back for 3 reasons: 1. Karaoke. I try to make it when KJ Sha is there, she cleans the mic between singers, is fun and juggles busy nights with multiple requests with professionalism and kindness. 2. Bartenders. Heather and Amber know their stuff, hustle and can cover the entire place individually and always with a smile. 3. The clientele on a busy night is great people watching. All ages, singles, groups and couples, a fun mix of people. If you like a laid back dive bar with lots to do, and good people.. visit AGs Sorts bar.“
“The location I commonly go to is the Bethany location. They always prepare the food quickly, have delicious wings with several flavors to choose from, and always have the food nice and hot. I mainly go there for the wings, but I've also tried their shrimp fried rice and that is also amazing! Give them a try when you're around and you won't regret it. Everyone is always friendly too.“
“I enjoy everything from here, with the hand pulled noodles being my most common order. That said, their Kung Pao chicken seriously blew me away. It was different than the Kung Pao chicken I am used to from other places and after having Frank's, I want everywhere else to cook it like Frank's.“
“My husband & I found this place a few weeks ago and have been going once a week ever since. The food is amazing, the prices are great, the service is perfect and the atmosphere is lovely. Their build your own stir fry is my go to because I love veggies but their other options are great too like their orange and teriyaki chicken, their shrimp, all of their appetizers, and fresh soup. Quaint and quiet little restaurant that gives off a cafe vibe. Hostess and cooks are always so friendly and nice. My husband and I plan to come here once a week for the foreseeable future. Highly recommend!“
“Stopped in for the $8 lunch special. It was nice in the restaurant and I got my food very quickly. I had 2 gyoza, teriyaki chicken, and white rice. It was very yummy and a lot of food. I saved the rice for last, but had eaten so much chicken I could only finish half of it. If you took it home and added some veggies it would make 2 nice bowls easily. Will absolutely be back.“
“This bar is definitely a locals type of hangout anytime of day or night. The owner is a kind and friendly part of the experience. The Wishing Well would probably have more guests if the decor was updated. Sadly it looks dingy and to me dingy and dining don't go well together. They have video poker and an excellent juke box. It's likely if you are from St.Johns you will run into someone you know. I like this place mostly because I like the owner.“
“I've been visiting this restaurant since I was a child and it's no surprise to me they survived covid. The food here is the most delicious Chinese I've had anywhere. When I learned that they have evolved with present-day needs and now offer DELICIOUS gluten-free versions of almost every dish, I became a loyal customer for life. The staff is always friendly and the food is incredible. It may not look like much at face value, but don't sleep on this place.“
“Purchased by new owners on Aug. 1, 2022. New owners have 15 years experience each at Linn's China Jade in Beaverton, OR. They worked at Stir Crazy for two months before all the legal ownership details were completed so they know all the recipes for both Stir Crazy and China Jade. Talk to your waitress and ask for either version that you prefer or any level of "spiciness" that you like. They will accommodate your request. This web site has not yet been updated to the new menus, yet. Our experience has been top notch and we would recommend to everyone who likes Chinese, Korean, or Asian cuisines.“
