“Me and my boyfriend moved to Oregon in 2023 and this was one of the first places we tried and fell in love with! The food is always made with quality fresh ingredients, comes out super hot, and is consistently delicious! Their orange chicken with the Mac salad is our absolute favorite! The owners are always so kind and remember us by name. They truly care about their customers experience and take pride in what they do. If you’re ever in Sherwood I highly recommend you give Koba a try!!“

shredded pork with pickled cabbage, bacon fried rice, and shrimp Lo Mein. Everything was excellent. Fresh broccoli with just the right sweetness and crunch, sweet & sour sauce to write home about. Best Mongolian Beef we've had. Big crab puffs with lots of filling. The sauteed onions in a few dishes made me want to dance. Perfectly cooked Lo Mein noodles. “This is our favorite Chinese place in the Portland-metro area. Whenever we go there, we consider it a real treat. There is a large window into the kitchen to watch one of the cooks use the wok and the kids love to see the flames and the food being cooked.“

“Genuinely one of the best teriyaki meals I’ve had in the local area! Their portion sizes are very generous and tastes are amazing, with old school prices like 2015. The ribeye teriyaki is my personal favorite. Their kimchi is also fresh, perfectly seasoned, and only $1.50 for a medium sized cup, I am not sure if they make it in house but they could fool me that they do. I can also say their chili sauce that they send home is great too, most places keep it simple with sriracha, but their chili has the perfect heat and sweetness!
We also tried their egg rolls and pot stickers and they’re crispy and flavorful. Would really recommend coming here for a quick meal, their lunch special is especially affordable. Our family has been coming here for over 15 years!“

“Don't let the aged facade fool you. The food is amazing and the owner practically runs the place single handed. If you're in a rush, order to go and pick up. Sitting in might take a bit longer, but it's a great place to chew the fat and some amazing food. Prices are reasonable and portions are large.

Our triple threat favorite is vegetable fried rice, chicken chow mein and sesame chicken. Have heard rave reviews on the sub gum chow mein as well.“

“I LOOOVVEE3 this place. You get exactly what you walk in for ... BUT portions are LARGE! We always end up taking home another meal. Prices are excellent for the current market. We make sure we go there at least twice or 3 times a month. I also have a Mushroom allergy, and at this point, they are so personal that the moment we sit down, they know hey, no mushrooms. That kind of personal touch keeps us going back.“

So tonight we tired Kuang's Kitchen. And WOW. The BBQed pork was very moist, the String Bean Pork was flavorful with the right ratio of beans to pork. 10-ingredient fried rice had everything listed and very good. This will now be our go to place for good Chinese food.“

Food is usually good to very good but can be inconsistent depending on the available cook. One of the few restaurants that sorted it's menu by cooking style (sesame, kung Pao, mu shu, etc) instead of main ingredient (beef, chicken, pork, etc) which simplifies ordering . It's not the very best Chinese restaurant in the greater Portland area, but it is among the best in this area“

“Both blonde bartenders are great at what they do. Haven't met the others but they're probably fine too. Anyone beefing about any of them were probably acting out of line and got checked. This is a dive bar and sometimes that's necessary. Doesn't stop some people from getting butt hurt though lol. Good drinks, good food served late and it's ok to leave your car there overnight if need be. Love love love the potstickers too.“

“Place is fairly good for teriyaki. We only get food for dine in so I don't know what the take out is like. Pricing is good for the portions and food is always tasty. The only thing about this place is the video poker that is in the other room. The machines can be a little loud but otherwise it's not a huge deal“
