“Great place to get bar bites. I love the atmosphere of this restaurant. We got the pork belly and a flatbread, which was perfect for two people. The star of the show was a pork belly, amazing flavors, and the pork belly was cooked perfectly as well.The flatbread was pretty good too. Overall, I highly recommend and would come back.“

“Justin and his staff always make the members feel welcomed like family as you hear them greeting most of the restaurant by name and often knowledge of their preferred drink order. Love that they have changing weekly specials to keep it interesting and lovely seasonal dishes. My favorite burger on the Eastside is here and is a perfect pub juicy burger. This cozy meeting place is one of the reasons so many generations return to living in this neighborhood.“

“I walked in here in September 1982 thinking my shattered life of 15 years was over. Hazel who ran the cafe, a gruff but loving lady made me sit down and have a sandwich and milk. For the next 5 years they raised me, an irritating punk, showing love and understanding beyond measure, mentoring me in the life of recovery and spritual principles of AA until my fledgling wings let me fly on my own to other places of recovery and respite from the storms of life. It's barely changed, has great coffee now and much more food! A meeting is available nearly every hour in such variety and different people your sure to find your place in what will always be my true home! “The waitress was extremely nice but she had her hands full trying to serve everyone and make that long walk to the kitchen every time. The drinks were nice. The Long Island was my favorite.

The TVs are perfect for watching a sporting event. The bar stools are quite comfortable.

I ordered the seared halibut and it came with black carrots. I was miserable eating this. It was tougher than expected and not well seasoned. Next time I will order the fish and chips.“

“The quality and taste of all food from the salad course, main course to dessert was outstanding. The flavor profiles of the braised short rib and truffle mashed potatoes was wonderful. The only reason for not giving 5 stars in this category was due to the small portion size. Perhaps this was due to it being a special priced menu for Seattle Restaurant Week, but when I make braised short ribs, a single short rib (boneless) would be around 4 ounces vs. the closer to 2 ounces that came to the table. The overall quality was so good though that my date and I were very satisfied and the amazing espresso crème brûlée filled the void.“

“I was out in the Marriott for the weekend and noticed this restaurant which sits on the first floor of the hotel hadn’t even been on google maps so before checking out I took pictures of the restaurant, it was a Sunday so they were closed. But it needed a review because the food was tasty, the way the staff treats you once you walk in and the high level of service and cleanliness you witness, you already know the food will be good. Love the selection of food and drinks they give you here with very fair pricing for food in a hotel.“

I had the Golden Curry & Tofu—Japanese-style curry over rice with potatoes, carrots, tofu, and pickled vegetables. Warm, flavorful, and exactly what I was in the mood for. My friends ordered the Sausage & Pepper Rotini and left just as happy. The only curveball? No mocktails listed on the menu. When I asked, our server looked a little unsure but offered to make a virgin Momotaro with ginger, peach, mint, lemon, and ginger beer. It was fantastic—definitely worth ordering again. Still, a mocktail section on the menu wouldn’t hurt. After lunch I wandered through the shop and ended up picking out a couple of games for our next game night. Couldn’t resist. All in all, a great lunch, great space, and a solid reminder to check out places that mix things up. Overall fun spot. So happy we found this place. Would happily return. It’s actually bar service within Residence Inn hotel where you can order food, mainly salads and burgers, and drinks from the bar (pictured below).Christina is the main hostess at the bar. Very nice and friendly lady.If you ring the number for this place from Google Maps, it’s actually going to go to the front desk for Residence Inn. Tell them to transfer you to the Rivue Bar and Grill.You will find the menu in Google maps photos for this place so you can just order on the phone. They don’t deliver to the hotel rooms so you just have to go down and get it.I would recommend their signature Rivue burger - comes with fries (pictured below).It is surprisingly very good for bar service food at a hotel and will do the trick for an evening where you don’t feel like getting out - since there’s nothing really walking distance around this hotel unless you have a car.“

But even when we weren’t her table, she would still come by clear things off our table help us with silverware or drinks or whatever was needed, VOLUNTARILY!
