“This place is DELICIOUS! So many great appetizers, sushi rolls and of course, the ramen! Plus, they have great service and really take the time to take care of each patron in the restaurant. Will definitely be back sometime soon to enjoy more! “Blue Fin offers the most beautifully prepared always fresh and delicious Japanese food. I have traveled to many countries including Japan and have never tasted better. The owners and staff are pleasant and helpful also. I really never order sushi etc. anyplace else.“

“I stopped by this restaurant and ordered the chicken fried rice, and I was pleasantly surprised. The portion size was generous, easily enough for two meals or a very filling lunch. The rice had a nice wok-fried flavor, and the mix of vegetables peas, carrots, and onions added good texture and color. The egg was fluffy and evenly mixed in, and the chunks of grilled chicken had a nice char that gave it a smoky touch.

It tasted fresh and was clearly made to order.

“Consistent service and food. Great food! Also, throughout the years I've never had a server witn a bad attitude (they always seem happy to be there), and several of them were long term employees. They aren't super high end, but perfect for me and one of my go to places for lunch.“

“Best chicken katsu I have ever had. Their katsu sauce is the perfect sweetness that I have been looking for without it being too sour/tangy.

I had the short rib with it— grilled perfectly, but the only problem I had was that it wasn’t marinated. Instead they gave a sauce on the side and I drizzled it on.

“Generous portions, a great sauce, and probably some of the best value for money in Bellingham. Easily the best teriyaki joint this far north in the Sound. You can’t go wrong with the basic chicken teriyaki plate—but I’d recommend getting an extra sauce for your rice. Also make sure to get some gyoza as a treat because you deserve it.“

“On my first visit to Little Tokyo I found a delightful casual restaurant with friendly service and two very satisfying sushi rolls. Oh, and the prices were reasonable. The residents of the Barkley neighborhood are luck to have a place like this so close.“
