“Owned by the Rodarte family, this restaurant is a welcome addition to Bow where dining options are limited. For those into shellfish, Samish Gold Seafoods is a must stop. They're also sometimes known to carry single servings of fish packaged and ready to go. Ask about that. It's been nice to see how this BIPOC-owned business has grown. There aren't many BIPOC-owned businesses in Skagit County. Show them some support.“

“Cute place to grab a quick bite. Food was fresh and tasty. It is not a sit down restaurant. You order your food at the counter. They will bring it to you when done. The tamales are outstanding!! Busy location as the food is good and the prices are reasonable.“

“I enjoyed the food here! Definitely expensive, but honestly one of the only good places to eat after the tulip festival, and I'm sure they know that too.I got the pollo a la parilla and it was delicious and kept me energized for the rest of the day.Service was quick and food was relatively quick too.I'd definitely recommend if you don't mind paying the extra cost. Check out the donuts across the street once you're done.“

“This food is AMAZING! If you know anything about anything related to the cuisine of Mexico, you will recognize that this is a star! The tamales were transcendent. The quesadilla redefines what that food should always be. I will make a special trip all the way from Seattle to come eat here again.“

“Best breakfast burrito in the greater Skagit area! I'm a bit of a breakfast burrito junkie and I full time RV so I've tried breakfast burritos from all over northwest Washington and this place makes the best one I've found hands down. Get the avocado sauce to go with it. Btw, I didn't see a breakfast burrito in their menu so just ask for it.“

“I chose a wet chili Colorado burrito. The beef was perfectly cooked, sauce was flavorful and was given a hearty portion. Complimentary chips were warm and the salsa accomplished it's job...after a hard day skiing we were like cheetahs on a gazelle. Delicious.“

“I like low-key, hole in the wall places that don't have a long wait time and have that home cooked taste to their food. Especially on busy, errand running days. If that's what you're looking for, this place is for you. Not to mention the guy who's usually cooking is attentive to his customers and customized my order to my liking without me even asking based on his observations (I was going to ask, but he did it before I even got the chance to). Did I mention I never go without ordering the pineapple juice? He got us hooked it after bringing my family some, on the house, the first time we ate here. Thanks for treating our taste buds!Kid-friendliness: Yes.“

“Great tacos, tamales and rice/beans here. Everything is reasonably priced and they've huge flavors! The rice and beans are a cut above your typical side dish expectations....it stands alone! The tamales are cheap and delicious. I could eat at this place 4-5 times a week. They're really busy and opened up a 2nd place so even more proof this place is dialed in!“

“Came in for dinner and ordered the Birria dish with rice, beans, and flour tortilla along with the Perfect Margarita. Was given chips & salsa to snack on during the wait. Came hungry and left super stuffed! Great food & service. The server was very kind. I'll be coming back when I pass through the area in the future.“

“I can't go 5 stars when I only really like one thing here, but I do highly recommend the following: 1. Get the spicy salsa to mix in with their classic bland stuff...and put the chip seasoning on your chips! 2. Order the chimichanga, comes with amazing chili verde to dip it in...delicious. 3. Skip the margaritas, skip the enchiladas.“

“Couldn’t love Catrina more! Taco Tuesday is our favorite day of the week, but any day you go will be amazing. Service is always fantastic, we love the whole team! If you like rice and beans theirs are some of my favorite! Habanero salsa is a MUST if you wanna sweat a little, and you know you do. My favorite tacos are carnitas, pollo blanco, beans and cheese, and steakon. They have a wonderful selection of ample tequila and their cocktails are huge and FIRE! Can’t wait til they get their new side open.“

“We'd driven by at least 40 times but always managed to miss when they were open. Boy, were we missing out. Tried the Carne Asado Tacos and the Tamales and both were excellent. Lots of flavor and generous portions. Reasonably priced considering the quantity and quality of the meal. It's a small rustic place with lots of character, but the food is great and we'll go back.“
