“I love that I can walk to this restaurant, sit out on the patio and soak up the sunshine on a warm afternoon. One thing I appreciate about this establishment is the openness to feedback and the desire to change dishes. I tried a pizza about 5-ish years ago and wasn't a fan. I saw that the chef recently changed the way they do pizza so I tried one again. I was blown away at what a huge improvement the new process made. I was even able to eat the crust, which I typically discard. I will no longer pass the pizza kitchen to get pizzas at "that other place." Still not a fan of their table bread, a bit too dense, sometimes I just eat the top layer. Overall, their dishes are delicious!”

Excellent and knowledgeable staff can make recommendations from the ever-changing menu based on your tastes, and it's easy to have almost any dish modified to be vegetarian or vegan. Perusing the tasting notes on the wine wall is a nice way to pass the time - great prices on the take-home bottles. If you're on a budget (and I usually am), grab a snack or two. Otherwise, try a little of everything!”

“I ordered the beef teriyaki with extra meat, came out to about $36 which, before I GOT the food, felt like a lot. But when you see what you get it feels good. The food is excellent! The box couldn't stay closed on its own, they had to tape it shut. It fed me for two days. AWESOME. Gonna go back and get more tonight!”

Very unassuming storefront, and something about it seems to exude, "local favorite," before you even step in the door.

Very laid back, but professional staff. Welcoming, kind, and just the right amount of hipster. :)

Surprisingly simple, straightforward menu but that doesn't mean it is boring or mundane! You'll find variety and unexpected depth in the dozen or so offerings including garlic rice, banana ketchup and coconut collard greens. There are the more basic fried potatoes and fried pickles if that's more your bag.

Top of off with a delicious desert which is some kind of mochi cake with coconut whipped cream.

I'm writing this a couple days after eating there, and I've convinced myself it's time to return.

On my way back there now - and you should do the same.

But you better get there before they sell out ! :)

Bonus : when you finish, 100% of the restaurant's packaging and waste goes straight to the compost!

“Scrumptious food! Fresh ingredients, well prepared without too much oil. They were super busy when I arrived, and my food was still prepared quickly. Everything is Halal, so you know that the animals were treated humanely. There are also vegan options. Everything was divine, I was happily surprised to find a new twist on some of my favorites. Also, the place is really clean.”

“I received a gift card for my Birthday in April, We had been meaning to stop in for a date night and finally did it last night. Omg. Its my new favorite place. We had great cocktails, apps, and an open faced sandwich. We ended with the most delicious slice of carrot cake to go! I can't wait to bring more of my friends and family here, I hate that I waited so long to check it out. They are doing a great job here and Im glad its in the neighborhood.”
