“Adorable coffee spot tucked away in Burien. We ordered a couple of the specialty drinks, the Dulzura Latte and Dulce de Leche Latte, both were the perfect amount of sweetness. Will definitely be back to try more of the menu. As mentioned by others, parking is a bit tricky. The easiest parking is behind the building, there isn’t street parking nearby.“

“Visited on a Sunday afternoon after a friend recommended this local spot in Burien.
We tried the bacon sandwich, $13 from the breakfast menu, and the Cuban melt $15 from the lunch menu.

While the café itself has a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, the food didn’t quite meet our expectations. The bacon sandwich felt a bit too small for the price, and the Cuban melt could have been much better if they had added some Dijon mustard to balance the richness of the mayo—it would have brought out the true flavor of a Cuban sandwich.

Staff were kind, and the space has a neighborhood charm, so I’d be open to coming back to try their pastries or coffee.“

“I was pleasantly surprised by this place. I did not have high expectations. I got like an energy drink Italian soda type thing with some CBD added and while it was very sweet it was effective. My friends got coffees and they liked them. There were breakfast sandwiches and lunch sandwiches etc. And they were totally good.“

“One of my favorite family owned Authentic Ethiopian restaurant in downtown Burien.! Super cozy atmosphere and delicious food. The owners are so friendly and welcoming.! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys delicious Ethiopian cuisine. Thank you so much for your service 🙏“

“This isn’t a coffee shack, it’s a community. The coffee is great, the snacks are standard and yummy. But it’s the people that make this place special. The staff is - every one of them - wonderful people who are pleasant and engaging, and the locals that hang out here with their friends and dogs are kind and cool.

Today I had a lovely long conversation with Kaitlyn during a lull in customers. We chatted about community and service, and how important those ideas are to us. It’s not everyday I get to have a deep and meaningful conversation with someone two generations behind me, but that’s the kind of environment The Bean creates. From the café hut's adorable ladybug-colored exterior and its charming and beautiful baristas-- inside and out-- to the super delicious drinks served (my boyfriend ordered a coffee w/ cream and sugar, my friend got a medium-sized hot latté w/ an extra shot of espresso, and I decided on a vanilla chai tea latté [you're given the option of either vanilla or spiced]), I give the Ladybug Café 5 stars-- I mean, I had never even considered that there could exist a more delectable chai tea latté than the ones I used to buy at Starbucks, but then I discovered it at this very Ladybug Café! My salmon pasta was extremely perfectly cooked, hubbys lasagna was great. Our friends reported delicious meals as well. Great bottle of Chianti. Hope they do well!“

“Starbucks is excellent, the variety of coffee and other drinks served both hot and cold are a convenient luxury I've grown accustomed to as I'm sure many have. Despite being overwhelmed at times, the staff typically remains kind and courteous as they swiftly accomplish the tasks needed to provide customers with their delicious products.“

“This is a true story.I’m a complete foreigner and needed a coffee due to severe jetlag. I walked there and asked for a 20oz coffee, great service(!) but when I tried to pay with my European card didn’t work on the machine. The lady working there told me it was okay - they literally gave me the coffee for free and I gave her a huge Hugh five in disbelief, chock and joy over that amazing move from this coffee house. That doesn’t happen on your Starbucks. Support this place! I’m caffeinated goin on my place now - awesome!“
