The cleanliness is impressive, and the owners are incredibly friendly and down-to-earth...They engaged in genuine conversations with us, reminiscent of the interactions we have on our food truck...I ordered the torta, which was absolutely delicious—though I was too eager to dive in to snap any pictures (because I'm fat)! “Part of my job is to order catering for sales events. I usually use a catering website to place these orders remotely. This particular site unfortunately could not provide any restaurants that would deliver to necessary location. I ended up finding Noe Jose Cafe and contacted them directly in hopes they would be able to assist and so glad that I did! I spoke with The Jose himself and he was so very helpful! He was able to work with me on all the logistics, needed supplies and the delivery! I received calls and texts for any updates on my order, which was so appreciated. I was pleasantly surprised by how much support they were willing to offer and couldn't thank them enough! Everyone really enjoyed the food and everything went so well! Thank you Jose and team!!!“

“Mai Thai is our go-to for Thai food. We chose it over Naung Mai in Oak Harbor initially because of the price difference, but the portions are bigger and there's more of your chosen meat/protein in the soups and entrees. That said- be aware you have to LIKE SPICE. Recently it has been difficult to get "spice 1", which should just be a hint. If you say "no spice", it's OK, but not Thai, right? But if there's a difference between 1 and 4, I can't tell. Our Pho soup tonight (spice 1) was burning our throats. The pad thai was OK at spice 1, but still quite a bit spicier than I would assume 1 would be. This is a new development for this restaurant, so it is probably a new chef. Just BE AWARE. Anyway, most people complain the food in the PNW is too bland, so you won't have that problem, at least! And as far as ordering, we use the online app. Add five mins to the time it says your pick up is ready. It is never ready. Door Dashers use this place constantly, and they clog the order process. There is indoor dining, but we have never used it, thanks to Covid protocols. Also- a final word on parking. The parking lot has been sectioned off from looping through the driver's ed school next door. Therefore the lot is super tough to turn and get out. You are better off parking along the strip by the salon to the left of the restaurant and walking up. Please be careful in this area of town at night.“

“If you are in, near or going to Oak Harbor, WA and are a lover or even just a liker of bbq, Orlando’s Southern BBQ is very much worth the stop! These folks know how to BBQ ! First of all, they are so friendly and welcoming you can just feel the southern hospitality and how proud they are to serve their fabulous food! We each had the brisket and it was the very best we have EVER had! It literally melted in our mouths. The baked beans with their slight kick were A-mazing and the coleslaw was so incredibly fresh and moist. This place is quite large and they have a full bar with entertainment on the weekends. We give Orlando’s Southern BBQ in Oak Harbor WA a 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 rating hands down!!“

“I go to Port Angeles typically once a month. The last year, I have been making this trip on Tuesdays. I arrive at the ferry early and take a walk. That’s when I think, it would nice to have a coffee. Oh ya, Callens is right across the street. Unfortunately, they are closed on Tuesdays and don’t open till 9am the other days. I only bring this up because virtually every time, I see people walking up to find the only business capable of serving coffee at the ferry terminal closed. Obviously, I have no idea how much staffing they have and certainly they need a day off. I am only pointing out they have a captive audience here looking for coffee and possibly something to eat while they wait for the ferry. Thank you for the opportunity to express my thoughts as I would like to support this local business.“

“My friend and I stopped here after spending time on Orcas Island. I was here visiting from Missouri and craving seafood. They accommodated my craving crab. Great service from a cute new employee who took great care of us. As well as the staff who took care of our meal. It was so good and we were so appreciative. “The food here is delicious, prepared in a timely, friendly manner and the staff in this family owned restaurant are friendly and personable. The prices are very affordable. I get the veggie gyros and my partner gets the lamb gyros.
They put a lot of ingredients in so if you are eating in a car or on the run use a plate under the foil wrapped gyros and have napkins ready too!

There were 4 of us, she took our order without writing anything down and it came out perfect. We even ordered extra items and she didn’t miss a thing. We didn’t have to wait or ask a second time. “We used to come here in the past so we stopped by for breakfast recently. I'm not sure why but everything got very expensive. I'm sorry but spending $20 for an omelet is ridiculous. Everything cost significantly more than the last time we were in. So much so is that my wife and I shared an omlet and ordered nothing else.

You need to reevaluate you prices. Especially for breakfast. Most things are at least 40% higher. Those prices for breakfast are crazy.“

“This Mexican restaurant is huge, large menu with a vegan option for every dish that they have. Vegan option includes jackfruit, beans, or impossible meat ($2/each item if ordering impossible). Highly recommend. Tried the wet burrito and enchilada and tacos rice and bean combo. Flavorful and delicious. They even have vegan cheese! AYCE cups and homemade salsas. Friendly staff. The staff is very familiar with vegan options.“
