“I am a local farmer who sells to South Pacific Bistro since 2012. And I eat their food. Seafood hot and sour soup is spicy hot and sour and loaded with calamari shrimp local veggies and oh so tasty. And I and my wife have eaten many other menu items. I have also spotted chefs from other restaurants I sell my goodies to, eating at South Pacific Bistro. An out of the way, hole in the wall, surprise of tasty treats at very reasonable prices. Huey is the chef and comes from a family of long time Vietnamese chefs, and Malissa, the hostess everything in the restaurant not cheffing, knows how to serve the goodies and be very sociable. “I had my birthday breakfast there, first time going. We had a large group so we called two weeks ahead for reservations. We had their beautiful private room that was all set up for us, with lots of coffee and water. Our food came out all together, hot, so flavorful and comforting. Everyone commented on how yummy it all was. Their staff were the best in the business, they should give a class to others on what great service is. Highly recommend, a gem in Centralia. Also great shops all around to enjoy after an amazing meal. A must go and often!“

“The food was awesome, everything was cooked correctly. I got the steak with there bacon butter. Saw some of the burgers go by to another table and those things large.

The only draw back to the restaurant is that it is an older stile building. If you are 6 feet tall your head will hit the ceiling lights or some of the decorations.“

“Amazing pizza and cheesy bread!! Our family stayed at Great Wolf Lodge next door and we had pizza there before, but we were not impressed. We decided to try to find a local pizza place to try instead, this visit. We decided to try Figueroa and it was amazing! Great atmosphere, very professional, the staff was all friendly and nice. For $35, we were very impressed on how great the pizza was. The marinara was very tasty. We will be eating pizza here when we stay in town from here on out!“

“I ordered the chicken teriyaki bowl with steamed rice and stir fried veggies. Definitely a nice portion size, more than enough for 2 people. I was only able to eat just under half and was more than full. Enough left overs for another meal. The only thing there could have been more of was the teriyaki sauce. “I originally thought El Amigo was just a grocery store, but it turned out to be so much more. Tucked right by the meat section, they have a cocina where you can order freshly cooked food—and it’s absolutely worth checking out. I’ve tried almost everything they offer, and everything has been delicious, but the true standout for me is the menudo. I’m not Mexican, but I love the flavors, and it tastes incredibly authentic (maybe). Regardless we enjoyed it.

The atmosphere inside the store adds to the whole experience. It feels like you’ve stepped into a little vacation in Mexico—warm, lively, and welcoming. The staff is friendly (special mention to Adela and Hilario) the food is amazing, and the overall vibe makes you want to come back again and again. I’m bringing my friends here.

“It is a pool hall so if you are looking for real quiet never mind. It's not real noisy but can get a bit raucous. They have a excellent seasonal menu besides their usual one. "Yeah, that's it" I said with my jaw on the floor as she gave it to my friend. She drank some of juice, recovered, and another kind young lady came out and told us she got us a table that was close. They have a create your own omelette station, biscuits and gravy, eggs, frittatas, bacon, sausage, breakfast pizza, waffles and much more.We spent $83 for 2 adults and 1 kiddos. (younger kids 3 and under are free). Plus you do have to pay for drinks.The convince of rolling out of bed and hitting the buffet was nice. Would not recommended it unless your actually staying here and just looking for easy.Our waitress Brenda was very nice. Even though it’s a self serve breakfast buffet she was very diligent on making sure our drinks were topped off and we had everything we could need.I’d easily eat here again next time we stay as long as the price doesn’t go up a single cent.“

“I absolutely adore McMenamins Olympic Club. I have so many memories here—family stays, cozy getaways, and those perfect small-town adventures that just stick with you.

What McMenamins—and especially the McMenamin brothers—have done for the Pacific Northwest is something special. I always tell people they’re basically the Disneyland of the Northwest. The way they’ve invested in restoring and preserving historic properties that might’ve otherwise been lost is incredible. They’ve built a brand that feels cohesive yet unique—no matter which location you’re in, there’s a familiar warmth in the look, the smell, the atmosphere… and yet each place still has its own story.

And let’s talk about the Passport—it’s genius. I love it. I’ve almost completed it twice, and it adds such a fun layer to the whole experience.

This location, though, is a cut above the rest—even though there truly isn’t a bad one in the bunch.

My one honest critique? The service. It tends to be a bit lacking and could definitely use some attention. It’s the one piece that doesn’t quite match the magic of everything else.

That said, I’ll keep coming back. Places like this are rare, and what they’ve built across the Northwest deserves real appreciation.“

“Love their food! They are always so kind and welcoming. I ordered take out and I had my kids in my car. I paid and waited for my food and the man was so kind and brought my food out to my car. I didn't even ask.

Another time I was there a man helped me carry my order out to my car.

Only teriyaki around here that actually has the salad that is cold with that addicting dressing. All over teriyaki places around here give you this gross hot salad as a side.

The owner (I believe) taking your order 50/50 shot she was waiter too (unless young guy was there, he was good too)... Normally had her daughter in a booth drawing or something.
