So when we arrived here on (South) Whidbey Island, we had a few options for authenticity. Spaceship mexican place that we've chuckled at more than a few times, then there's the street taco truck @ Scott Rd. Then.... there's Patron... A family owned, 'come on in and be welcomed like family', kinda place. Authenticity has found a home on S. Whidbey. Burrito Carnitas & Carnitas Patron were the choices off of their vast menu. Bringing back memories of those cobblestone days in Tinacatita, or the oceanside ten days

They also have a small bar area, which can be reserved for private events, making it an ideal spot for gatherings. Although they are still growing, Luna is a place that deserves more recognition and visits. I have been eating at what is considered the best Mexican restaurant in the state of Kansas, my entire life, and I am so glad that I found this place after moving up here to Washington. We have tried a few other places, but nothing compares to this restaurant. The owner is wonderful, and the food is outstanding. “The regular carne asada burrito is legit one of the best burritos I've ever had. Its also a fat burrito at a low price. The al pastor tacos were very good, too. Accidentally came in 30 minutes before open, but they were super kind and still served me. Salsa was banging, too.“

“I just recently started coming back to this restaurant. There was a change in menu and certain items which led me to stop eating here. Funny thing is the recent menu changes that they have made is what drew me back to this restaurant. Good food at a reasonable price! I do have favorites when it comes to this restaurant I love carne asada tacos, birria tacos, and sopas. Their sauces are delicious and the staff is friendly. If you're looking for a good meal at an affordable price this is where you'll find it. Not only that , they've added an abundance of menu items that I look forward to trying in the future.“

Vegetarian options: I'm not 100% sure about their vegan\vegetarian selections at the time of writing, but I know for a fact they will accommodate you. Great people.

“Don't order online you don't get what you oder.and when you call in they tell you that's how online orders are and to take it up with corporate. I ordered 4 chimichunga meals adding a side salad for a extra 1.95 for a total of 19.19 per meal was charged 105.30.didnt get rice n beans nothing on top of our chimichungas no chips n salsa. Definitely disheartening this place would do this not make it right“

I think their food is still good, tried the pupusas de chicharrón with cheese and they were really good. Overall it was a good experience and food was good. “Cole's Taven- How should I put this....it's LEGENDARY! Britana was Amazing, the service was fast, the sandwich was fresh, meaty and delicious- a great place to catch a game and have lunch, breakfast or dinner. I gat a great IPA, a lesson in Pull Tabs and had a terrific time Beating Cole at billiards! Ha- if you're on your way to the ferry, make sure to stop at Cole's! You won't be sorry! Did I mention the prices were really really reasonable! I'd give Cole's six stars!!!!“
