“Excellent Thai food, great service and nice ambiance. Even if you're not familiar with Thai food but you like, "teriyaki restaurants" in Washington State, give this place a go! Their current feature, the coconut shrimp (prawns) is so good. We split that and a curry last night.“

“Well, this thai place is usually spot on. Today, one dish wasn't. The pad thai was off, I know this because I've eaten here many times throughout the years. I ordered 6 dishes, all but 1 dish was cooked consistently by 1 of the 2 cooks at the wok. The 5 dishes were cooked by a lady, and the phad thai was cooked by a younger man. It's shows that each cook cooks differently the same recipes. Maybe he was having an off day, or he needs to review rachawandee recipe book again. Other than that, consistency is key, and they are usually on target. Coconut prawns and all the Currys are amazing, and the staff are always kind.“

“We visited at the Tulip Festival Street Fair, so everything was outside. We got a plate with 4 different dishes. I liked 2 of them a lot, a third was decent, and one was meh. I'm sure it would've been amazing inside the restaurant with more control over food temp as well as order timing. The order came in chunks so there was a wait for the fried foods. Waiting for those meant not eating the order stuff while it was hot. Anyway. Street fair food isn't as great as controlled in a restaurant food.“
“Comfortable atmosphere with multiple tvs playing different channels. Dogs welcomed and humans treated just as well. Staff is chill and on point. See a lot of people eating from food truck whenever we visit. Must be good! Perfect variety of beers. Not 100 beers but a delicious sampling of IPA, porter, lagers, ciders, etc.“

“Portion size of food is great plus it tastes great a bit pricey but worth it. I wish more sitting areas were available- (small space), a very busy little place especially on weekends-Parking: Parking at the main building is open but a bit tight so I parked in front of D&D grocery store (closed) plus side of store is public parking that's available as well“

“This place was incredible and I'd already like to go back to try their drinks and all the other delicious items I've seen online! The ambiance was nice and lively and they even had beautiful tulips for center pieces. I had the slow roasted chimichanga and it has this amazing poblano cream sauce which was so flavorful! I took my man's because he said it was too spicy :) I thought it was perfection with the amount of cream and spice! The pork was fantastic and I enjoyed the beans and rice as well. My boyfriend ordered the carne asada burrito which was huge! His mama ordered tacos and everything was amazing. Don't get me started on the chips and salsa because we threw down on a few servings. The salsa was so flavorful and chunky and delicious. The chips were warm and fresh and I even dipped them in the poblano cream sauce. Amazing!“

“Best breakfast burrito in the greater Skagit area! I'm a bit of a breakfast burrito junkie and I full time RV so I've tried breakfast burritos from all over northwest Washington and this place makes the best one I've found hands down. Get the avocado sauce to go with it. Btw, I didn't see a breakfast burrito in their menu so just ask for it.“

“Visiting on two different occasions, 2/24 and 3/9, I had two very different experiences. Both times the food was excellent, but the atmosphere and service differed.Ordering Phad See Yu with fresh tofu is always a win from Jasmin. The second visit I ordered Thom Ka Tofu. This coconut milk based soup was so tasty. I recommend ordering a side of rice to add into the soup; it’s a nice pairing and makes it much more hardy. The first of the two visits there happen to be a sizable party and it created quite a bit of noise, hampering our ability to visit over dinner. The second stop in was nearly an empty house with only one other table being occupied. Made for a lovely visit with my friend. Normally I find Jasmin to be fairly busy but not rambunctious like it was with the large party.Service in February was lacking but I feel it was due in part to our waitress being new. In March we had a much more seasoned server and it made for a more enjoyable and relaxing experience.Overall I find Jasmin a consistently good experience with food and generally with service as well.I’m unsure of their tenure but they’ve been a long-standing restaurant in Stanwood and I hope they continue doing what they do best for a long time to come.“

“Bankok Bistro is my "go to" when I don't feel like cooking. The tofu pad thai and Tom yum soup are THE BEST. The owner, Edward, always greets me with a friendly smile at the pick up window and his pride of ownership shows in the consistent quality of their food. I believe they're still only open for take out. Give them a try!“

“Food is amazing. It's rich but not rich like east of Idaho. It's fresh and delicious. Its service is also great with hearty portions. Service is outstanding. We were there with only two waitress for both indoor and outdoor. We asked how we could help. They said order your first at the bar and we'll be out. The service was top notch afterwards for such a think staff. The place was half full. Ambiance is amazing. Dogs are the owners or locals I think. Outdoor seating is not to be missed. In the wonder there is plenty of space indoor. Biker clubs love this place. We're a sport bike club and this is a destination restaurant. Enjoy!!“

“I drive by this place all the time, and at lunchtime, it's packed, so today I went a little early 1130 to try it out! Well, I was not disappointed! I had lunch fajitas and it doesn't come out sizzling like most places but the display was very nice and the flavor of the meat was amazing!! It actually had seasoning ? I was shocked! Everything was very good and I swear it was only 12.50, I think ? I could be wrong, but I was shocked most places this would be a lot more. I will definitely be back with mi esposa ?“

“Wife and I got exactly what we expected tonight: A great meal out in the country in a family owned restaurant. A very good value. We ate every bite. I love old buildings with culture and history within them. This is a place for regular hard working people.Vegetarian options: They do garden burgers and loaded baked potatoKid-friendliness: Lots of dad jokes, not much swearing, not a rap music kind of crowd.“

“Went here at a time when it wasn't busy. The service was prompt, food was presentable and tasted great! Had the burrito and the steak sope. The interior is clean and decorations give it the right feel for a Mexican restaurant. Will go back to try more of the dishes, especially during dinner. Today we just ordered from a one page lunch menu which is sufficient for mid day. The lunch portion was also appropriate not to feel too heavy when returning to work. ?Kid-friendliness: Looks appropriate for kids and families.Parking: Easy to find parking on the street.“

“Catrina has fast become one of my favorite stops for dinner. Located in downtown MV, they're locally-owned and serving up tons of Mexican food deliciousness; especially on Taco Tuesday when you can grab one of their tiny, tasty tacos for only $175. My favorite is the chicken crema, which includes corn and a sinfully delicious, cheesy cream sauce. Next up, the chicken tinga, which are just spicy enough without killing my tastebuds. Their shrimp tacos (not part of the Taco Tuesday special, sadly) are also divine. When I go solo, I like to sit at the bar, get a pint of negra Modelo (yes, they have it on tap!), much some chips and salsa, and enjoy a few tacos. It's also a great place to go for a casual date, or with a crowd. They just recently doubled the size of the restaurant, when they took over and remodeled the space next door. No more long lines for Taco Tuesday! What sets Catrina apart, though, is the friendly staff. They make me feel right at home whenever I visit. The service is always fast, even when they're busy. The biggest challenge is parking, but usually you can find a spot if you drive around the block once or twice.“

“Had such a lovely experience here. Our server Blakely was amazing! Very attentive, and charming, she really made the experience great with her big smile and friendliness! The Spicy Pork Bul-gogi is the best we’ve ever had! The kimchi and other side dishes were so flavorful and delicious. I will definitely be coming back here, the best Korean bbq around! Thanks for taking such great care of us Blakely. Highly recommend!“

“It's good teriyaki for sure but nothing special. One of the pros is that you can now buy an entire bottle of Teriyaki Sauce for under $8 so you can sauce it up whenever. However It's not an actual bottle so much as it is a ketchup or mustard squeeze bottle with the cap off. They don't include the top and use a piece of tape over the top instead, which I'm not fond of. The service is good and they're pretty quick about having your order done within 15-20mins. For us it can be a quick walk there and back. We've never actually eaten inside so I can't tell you much other than it's dimly lit but not dark with the typical flair of a family run Chinese restaurant. Overall it's convenient, fast, and pretty good.“

“Really solid hamburger joint. The onion rings are phenomenal, absolutely huge and delicious. Takes a little while to get the food out, as it should with any food that isn't made ahead, a lot of people call their order in ahead of time. Would be nice if they had an online ordering option. Friendly service too!“

“This is one of those great little must-try dives! It's situated in the oldest part of Stanwood on the brick road, surrounded by antique brick buildings. It has a cool, retro, 1950s atmosphere with a fun, old-timey feel. Their breakfasts are amazing, and they have the best hashbrowns in town!“

“I really like this place. Food is (mostly) delicious and the service has been pretty good most times. Big portions for plenty of leftovers, very good menu selections, and great pricing for their lunch menu. I tend to avoid their fried rice since it's rather bland. A few shakes of soy sauce fixes that for me. A lot of people complain about the coloration, but *my* biggest complaint with the fried rice is the "wok hei", or lack thereof. If I was going to suggest dishes, I'd say mandarin chicken, wonton soup, hot and sour soup, gyoza(potstickers), Singapore noodles(spicy), Chinese street noodles, and the Lo Fun.“

“I love Thai food! We ordered on grub hub this time. We got the Crab Fried Rice (added pineapple and mushrooms) and Crispy Orange Chicken. The menu makes you choose a rice for your fried rice dish, which was weird. I chose fried rice and it added ANOTHER side of fried rice to my order for $6. I understand that little glitch now.The only thing I didn't like was that they put my hot orange chicken on top of a thick bed of wilted browning lettuce. I never understood the "hot dish on a bed of lettuce" concept. It turns into mush in the to-go containers and the gross fast foody lettuce flavor gets into the food. I had to take it all out but I could still taste the lettuce water. Otherwise the chicken would have been great too!Like I said, I love Thai food. And I have tried several different places. This one for the above dishes was above average on price, below average on flavor, but still tasty and worth it. Just make sure to only the lettuce!“

“I wish I lived here so we could make this our go-to coffee and bakery/lunch spot! Usually we have to do fast food in our trips along I-5, but this lovely place is worth planning into our trip. I had a chicken pesto on focaccia sandwich, and my husband had the garden burger. They aren’t excessively cheap, but the price is reasonable and the quality of the ingredients is quite high. The berry mimosa qualifies as a serving of fruit as well as being extremely satisfying. We haven’t even tried the pastries yet! Next time we will—“

“We had a great lunch at Kelley’s BBQ. The beef brisket sandwich had a generous portion of brisket that was perfectly cooked. The bun was toasted, adding a bit of crunch. My wife loved her pulled pork sandwich. It had a lot of meat and she was full without any sides. Their cornbread was fresh out of the oven and nice and moist. We will be back. We are always looking for somewhere to eat before getting back on the ferry. We will add this to our list!“

“I recommend for the price alone and it's probably the best in Skagit County. I moved back from Seattle where I was only 2 miles from the international district and I was really missing all the variety of Asian food. This doesn't hit all the marks, but it fills my nostalgia for certain foods. Definitely going to be one of my go to places.“

“Quite impressed with the variety of choices this buffet has! You can find everything including seafood, meat, veggies, fruits, desserts, sushi, soup, salads. They even had a stirfry bar where you select your ingredients and a chef stir fried it right in front of you. The price is very affordable as well (only $10.99 for lunch and $18.99 for dinner, or $6.99 for a box of takeout). The service was also very good, each section of tables had a waiter who is very attentive in clearing your used dishes and refilling your drinks. Left feeling very full, only wish I had a larger stomach so I could've tried more dishes.“

“Love going here for the salad & pizza bar. This day however, the veggies on the salad bar were not chopped small....most of the fresh veggies like onions and broccoli were in HUGE CHUNKS, not conducive to building a good salad, also the dressings did not have names on them.....as far as service, it's always the same, guys being guys, service but nothing extra, no smile, no pleasantries, just the absolutely necessary.I did enjoy my lunch.“

“TL;DR if you want great food, service, and beer look no further.Let's start with the customer service! These people are getting it right! I've not experienced a more friendly and attentive experience in a long time. The burger and Korean fries were outstanding. I do wish that I could have had my burger cooked medium rare, but regardless it was still very delicious. The fries were cooked to perfection and seasoned perfectly. They have a very diverse selection of craft brew beers that will wet any whistle over the age of 21. As I started, don't hesitate to spend your hard earned money here, they themselves will earn your return business.“
